Bigoted Becky Recently Hired By HuffPost Swiftly Kicked To The Curb After Making Racist Comments On Social Media

Source: Chesnot / Getty HuffPost Fires Racist Social Media Editor A caucasian woman, who’d recently been hired as a social media editor for HuffPost , lost her job after making comments online that were so racist, you almost won’t believe them. On second thought, after considering everything that’s been going on during Black History Month this year, we’re not actually all that surprised. “Yesterday, HuffPost fired a recently hired, Los Angeles-based social media editor after her managers were alerted to the fact that an Instagram account belonging to the new hire was spewing racist rants online. Using a now-deleted Instagram account, Ashley Rose, who was hired earlier this month, targeted a number of people with the sort of racist invective you’d expect to find in the darkest 4chan threads,” The Concourse reports. As for the comments Rose made…they were disgusting. “I don’t dress my son like a thug, sorry. We don’t wear Jordans or Nike in this house because Nike sucks politically, and his father actually fought for this country’s freedom instead of sitting in a jail cell,” she said. “Your nephew is an ugly n***er like you! He looks like Coolio,” another comment read. “Y’all wonder why we stereotype and shoot your ignorant asses,” she continued. See screenshots of her racist rants here . Laura Wagner from The Concourse says she spoke with the young woman on the receiving end of Rose’s comments and apparently Rose was upset because she wants to support black-owned businesses. “I spoke to the woman who runs the Instagram account that Rose targeted,” Wagner stated. “She said it started because she wrote in a post about supporting black-owned businesses. In response, Rose wrote that she would only support white businesses, and from there it escalated.” People can be so ignorant…it’s an absolute shame. But the good news is, HuffPost did the right thing and let her go. Bye, girl!

SMH: It Looks Like Kendrick Lamar & SZA Won’t Be Performing “All The Stars” At The Oscars

Source: Scott Dudelson / Getty SZA & Kendrick Lamar Won’t Be Performing Oscar-Nominated “All The Stars” According to an exclusive report from Variety , Kendrick Lamar and SZA won’t be performing at The Oscars this year. Despite efforts from The Academy to secure the TDE labelmates for a performance of the their Oscar-nominated collaboration, “All the Stars” on the upcoming Oscars telecast. The reason for the two not performing their track from Black Panther Soundtrack , according to a source close to the situation, is both logistics and timing. Lamar was also noticeably absent from Grammys this year, after reports that he declined performing for that broadcast, as well. All four of the other nominated songs–“When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings” from “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” (Gillian Welch and David Rowlings), “The Place Where Lost Things Go” from “Mary Poppins Returns” (Bette Midler and Marc Shaiman), “I’ll Fight” from “RBG” (Jennifer Hudson) and “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born” (Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper)–will be performed. A previous plan for The Oscars was reportedly to showcase only “All the Stars” and “Shallow,” but that was quickly changed in the face of backlash and nominee solidarity, also following a report from Variety about that plan. “All the Stars” was nominated for four Grammys this year, including nods for both record of the year and song of the year. “King’s Dead,” another one from the Black Panther Soundtrack , earned Kendrick Lamar and his partner Jay Rock a Grammy for best rap performance, while Ludwig Göransson’s original score won a Grammy for best score soundtrack for visual media. Even though their lack of performance has been confirmed, there’s still no word on whether or not Kendrick Lamar and/or SZA will be in attendance at the Oscars ceremony.

The Duchess of Sussex’ baby shower was held at New York’s The Mark hotel in the penthouse suite that goes for $75,000 a night. According to Cosmopolitan the estimated cost for Meghan’s shower was around $200,000 especially considering the $100,000 private jet she flew in on, that a friend paid for. Tamla Horsford: 911 Call Released From Slumber Party Where Black Mom Died

As previously reported Tamla Horsford was found dead in the backyard of a friend’s home in Forsyth County, Georgia . The mom of five was attending a “football moms” sleepover and was the only black person in attendance. Now WSBTV reports that they’ve exclusively received the 911 calls made the morning her body was found. On the call, Jose Barrera can be heard telling the operator that Horsford wasn’t moving and noted that she had a cut on her wrist. “She’s lying in the yard, basically on the patio downstairs.. She’s not moving one bit. She’s not breathing,” he told dispatchers. “I’m noticing a small cut on her right wrist. She’s not breathing whatsoever. As previously reported Barrera’s a former pre-trial services officer who was terminated for allegedly accessing information via his “police terminal” about the Horsford case in which he was a witness. He’s denied any wrongdoing—-but isn’t it convenient that the 911 caller was digging into the case? Tamala’s death was ruled as an accident and attributed to an alleged fall from a deck that caused multiple blunt force injuries and listed “acute ethanol intoxication” (alcohol) as a contributing factor. Tamla’s best friend Michelle Graves, however, is among the throngs of people calling foul. “It’s impossible to get the injuries that she had from one fall,” said Michelle to WSBTV. Source: Bashir Osman's Photography / Getty $13 Million In Meth Found Inside Frozen Strawberries These drug cartels are becoming more and more creative with their various methods of smuggling their product into the United States. According to a CNN report customs officials found $13 million dollars worth of meth inside of a tractor trailer at Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge cargo facility in Texas. A 42-year-old Mexican driver was arrested. Authorities seized the tractor/trailer along with 906 pounds of methamphetamine (411 kg) that was worth about $12,700,000, CBP said. It’s unknown what made the border agents believe there was something sketchy about either the driver or the shipment, but when they referred the vehicle to further inspection, that’s when they discovered the 350 packages of drugs. “This was an outstanding interception our officers accomplished this weekend,” said Port Director David Gonzalez of Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas Port of Entry. “Our officers’ astute sense of awareness and tenacity is unparalleled and truly commendable.” These strawberries were about to get some smoothie-drinker high as hell.
