Teairra Mari Ordered To Pay 50 Cent $30K After Losing Revenge Porn Lawsuit

Source: John Lamparski/ Getty/ Gabriel Olsen/FilmMagic / Getty Teairra Mari Loses Sex Tape Lawsuit To 50 Cent Teairra Mari recently suffered a huge loss in court that’s going to cost her a substantial amount of money. As previously reported the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” star sued 50 Cent and her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad after explicit footage was released of her post-fellatio with semen on her face.  Teairra alleged that Akbar released the revenge porn without her consent and 50 made matters worse by reposting the clip to his 18 million Instagram followers. Lisa Bloom represented Teairra in the case and a part of it played out on LHHH. Now according to The Blast who obtained court documents, Teairra’s going to have to pay up because she lost the case—to 50 at least. A judge dismissed all claims against 50 and ordered her to pay him $30,000. Why? Well because 50’s lawyers successfully argued that by the time 50 reposted the image it was readily available online. Furthermore, it didn’t show genitals or a sexual act in progress. The Blast didn’t clarify however if Teairra’s case against Akbar is ongoing. Teairra argued that Akbar personally logged into her Instagram to send out the sexually explicit content in an effort to humiliate and degrade her. Things could have been much, much worse for Teairra, 50 wanted her to pay his entire $161,660.15 legal bill. Luckily the judge reduced it to $30,618. Still, that’s gotta sting. We’re sure 50’s concocting a super petty, out of pocket post for his Instagram.   What do YOU think about Teairra losing her revenge porn lawsuit to 50???

“Ready To Love” Exclusive: Mike And Shea Talk Lovin’ It Up On TV And Reveal Whether They’ve Been Smashing Each Other To Chocolatey Delicious Smithereens!

Source: Janeé Bolden / Janeé Bolden Stars Of OWN Network Dating Show Talk About Dating On TV Will Packer had a hit on his hands with OWN’s “Ready to Love” and the show actually ended in two love matches. Alexx, who found his match with Ashlee and Mike and Shea, who seemed to fall in love at first sight. Weeks before the cast reunited to revisit the ups and downs of the show, BOSSIP sat down with Mike and Shea to talk about the experience. BOSSIP: Do you think you two would have met if you hadn’t done the show? Shea: I don’t see how we could have, because I have a certain route and I don’t detour, I don’t hang out. I worked for the radio station but even then I chose not to be out, I’d be in the station running the boards. I’m just not a going out person. And I enjoy naps. BOSSIP: You guys were locked in from day one — was it love at first sight? Shea: For me the attraction was there, Mike did something that I don’t typically like, he did the come here [motions with her finger]. Mike: Soon as she walked in. Shea: And that was it. The conversation was fun, it wasn’t too heavy. He wasn’t trying to interrogate me, he had roots going back to the Midwest and he was funny and I could laugh. BOSSIP: Do you think it’s really that hard dating in Atlanta? Mike: Anything with Black folks gets a bad rap. Africa, Atlanta. I think Atlanta is a beautiful place, it’s the Wakanda of America. It’s thriving. You’ve got a bunch of young black entrepreneurs, the government is not holding you back. For me, as far as dating was concerned, because I don’t go to clubs, I don’t go to lounges, I’ve been here four or five years and people are like, where have you been? I go to bed at like 10. And if I go to the gym I’m not going to ask someone to remove their headphones to talk to me, I’m not shy or anything like that. I think people don’t self reflect enough, they just put it on the location. Because if you’re having problems dating in Atlanta, you’ll have problems in California or anywhere else. BOSSIP: What do you think made you guys’ situation go so much more smoothly than some of the others? Shea: What I like about Mike is we bounce a lot of ideas off each other, we both have unconventional lifestyles. I might say, ‘I can’t go to dinner, I’m too tired,’ and he’s fine with that. I’m not at a point anymore where I’m pressed about anything. If he’s busy I trust him, if I don’t see him today I’ll see him tomorrow. Mike: And it makes a man miss a woman. I’m not used to that. You don’t want it to become like washing dishes, damn I gotta wash the dishes. I don’t have to check in, She’s checking on and I like that about her. Shea: He has to have his personal space. You need to have your space on your own, outside of me and I gotta respect that, just like I may not want to be bothered everyday all day long either. We’ve got to respect each other’s boundaries and personal space. I do that with my son. I built a room in my garage for him to have his own little man cave so he doesn’t have to be up under me all the time. This show is about compatibility, not a competition. People keep saying it’s a competition. All of the women are beautiful. All the women have something to bring to the table. Mike isn’t going to work for every chick and every dude is not gonna work for me. I understood that early on. BOSSIP: One of the conflicts you had was that Mike wants kids and Shea, your first experience with motherhood was rough. How did you guys work past that? Shea: It was rough. He [her ex] put me through it, but I had to take into account he was young, we both had no idea what we were doing, we both were young. We weren’t compatible. It would be like buying a house with someone and then being like, no you do it, you got it. Mike: I think the misconception was that I was asking for a child right now. We don’t know each other well enough to say ‘Hey let’s have a child,’ it’s more so of — she had postpartum depression. I didn’t know anything about that, a lot of men don’t, so it was just like ‘Why wouldn’t you want to have a child?’ When she broke it down to me I had to understand from that aspect. I never had a child before. So I just had to understand and be patient. She’s open now, so now that we know she is open, when we get to that point we’re like okay, first we’re going to get married, because marriage is supposed to come before a baby. I didn’t wait 39 years to just throw a baby in somebody. I really do want to have a baby, but I didn’t want to let this woman go because everything about her is so dope. That’s why I learned patience too, because it was something so strong I took the time to find out why. I understand now and with time she said, ‘I could see you being a good father, so if we get to the point of marriage I would be willing to have children with you.’ Hit the flip for more from this beautiful couple.

Deaf To The Bullsh*t: Woman Has Rare Condition That Doesn’t Allow Her To Hear Men’s Voices

Source: xavierarnau / Getty Natural Selection? Rare Condition Leaves Woman Deaf To The Voices Of Men A rare ear condition has left a woman only able to hear women’s voices. But don’t get too jealous, doctors say it’s temporary! “Chen” from Xiamen, China knew something was wrong when she woke up and couldn’t hear her boyfriend’s voice, Newsweek reported. The woman reportedly heard ringing in her ears and vomited and an ear, nose and throat specialist at Qianpu Hospital told Ms. Chen that she had a form of low-frequency hearing loss known as reverse-slope hearing loss. This meant she was unable to hear lower-frequency sounds, including the average male voice. Dr. Lin Xiaoqing, a woman doctor who treated Ms Chen, said the patient was able to hear her when she spoke but couldn’t hear a male patient. “She couldn’t hear him at all,” said Dr. Xiaoqing, according to MailOnline. As well as struggling to hear low-frequency voices, those with the condition can find it tough to make out voices on the phone, as well as noises like the hum of the fridge or thunder. This can put sufferers in danger, as they may not hear noises like oncoming cars. Yikes! Although rare, Doctors believe the condition was brought on by stress. Around 3,000 people in North America are affected by the same condition. Dr. Xiaoqing said Ms. Chen is expected to make a full recovery with some rest according to her doctor.

Youngest In Charge: Marsai Martin Talks Executive Producing And Starring In ‘LITTLE’ At Only 14-Years-Old!

Source: Eli Joshua Adé/ Universal Pictures / Eli Joshua Adé/ Universal Pictures Marsai Martin Talks Producing And Starring In Upcoming Universal Pictures Film ‘Little’ If you’ve already seen the trailer for the new film ‘Little’ which was released today you probably have a good idea of just how incredible leading lady Marsai Martin is — but BOSSIP had the opportunity to go on set with the actress — who at only 14 is also EXECUTIVE PRODUCING the film along with her father Josh Martin and Regina Hall. It turns out that Martin came up with the concept when she was just ten-years-old, and the actress, along with her parents, brought the idea to “blackish” creator Kenya Barris (who along with Will Packer and James Lopez, is also producing the movie). Marsai teased the coming trailer earlier this week on Instagram We found out on set just how strategic Martin is, as she described how it all came about: “I was talking to Daddy and Mommy about some of their favorite movies when they were growing up and one of mine was ‘BIG’ with Tom Hanks,” Martin told BOSSIP and other media during the set visit last fall. “So that’s really how the idea was brought out, that’s where it all started and we started brainstorming, to see how we could create a black girl magic situation.” After coming up with the basic outline the Martins wasted no time trying to bring their daughter’s concept to life. “At the Season 1 of “blackISH,” I think it was the season finale, dad went to Kenya like ‘Marsai has this dope idea,’” the actress recalled. “Kenya ended up liking it and right after was calling Will [Packer] like ‘Yo… Diane from “blackish” has a dope idea.” After that we had a meeting with him and James [Lopez] and after that he bought it and after that we went to Universal and they bought it and it wasn’t long before we shot it. I mean like, three years?” “I’m very grateful and very honored that they were just like saying yes to this 10-year-old who just popped out with this blazer and all of these things,” Martin said. “They could have said no but they actually believed in me and the story we wanted to tell.” The young starlet says she has aspirations of some day hosting “SNL” or the “Emmy’s” and experiencing the kind of success that she could retire at 18. “But I won’t!” Marsai promised. Well — if the Academy is listening they may have their perfect host right here. In the meantime, Martin’s father is focused on making sure his daughter is just as successful at life as she is the film industry. “One of the things we teach her is to live in the moment,” Josh Martin said of his teenage daughter. “Live in your moment, you don’t have to worry about what two years from now looks like. Live in your now and enjoy it! There’s no rush to grow up. Don’t start thinking too far ahead because life happens.” Marsai’s early success is no surprise to her father, who says by the age of two she was an avid film buff, enjoying projects like ‘Lackawanna Blues’ and the Ray Charles biopic ‘Ray,’ which she could mimic without actually watching. “It would be playing behind her on a screen and she would be mirroring all the moves. It was funny, she became this family party favor, grandparents would be sippin’ on something and be like ‘Look, look, do the thing…’” Josh Martin recalled. “We kinda stumbled up on it. All of this just fell into place and I’m glad it did because she really loves it.” One particular angle of ‘Little’ that hit particularly close to home was the underlying message about bullying that’s at the core of the storyline. “Jordan when she’s 13-years-old, she’s just like this sweet quirky girl, doesn’t care what anyone thinks and the more she grows up she realizes ‘Oh snap, people are bullying me, what can I do to stop this?” Marsai says. “So she started bullying them first. She thought that was the solution for people to stop messing with her.” Martin’s dad told BOSSIP that in this era of social media, he’s particularly proud that his daughter hasn’t allowed online bullying to affect her at all. “I can tell you this, the social media has been a gift and a curse, because before she was fully engaged in being this Hollywood actress she was following people like Beyoncé, people she liked, YouTubers, then she got to read comments and see a lot of people just wanted to see a reaction so she got to see how a lot of how social media worked and what she wanted her voice to be on social media and when she saw something she knew not to react. One of the things we taught her was not to look at the comments. One day somebody had said something to Skai Jackson and Skai responded and the only thing the person said was, “Oh my God, Skai replied to me.” And she was like “Oh, this is how it works?” She’s a really big fan of Beyoncé and she used to read a lot of the comments that people would leave about Beyoncé and she saw she wouldn’t give them any attention, I also make sure my presence is felt wherever she is, I let it be known she has a mother and a father and I will make a scene because I don’t care.” Well her film beginnings may be ‘LITTLE’ but it’s clear there are big things to come in the future for Marsai and it sounds like she’s got a great team behind her — both professional and family. Stay tuned for more great coverage from our set visit coming soon. Don’t forget, ‘LITTLE’ lands in theaters April 12!

Jesus Take The Wheel: 12 & 14-Year-Old Girls Allegedly Stab Mom To Death For Putting Them On Punishment

Source: South_agency / Getty The Oldest Is Being Charged As An Adult A Mississippi mom was found drenched in blood in her front yard on Friday, and authorities are linking the scene to her 12 and 14-year-old daughters. According WLBT , Erica Hall was pronounced dead at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. Coroner Jones said Hall was repeatedly stabbed in her upper torso and back, and she also suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. Relatives believe Hall was stabbed inside her mobile home before she staggered outside to take her final breaths in the front yard. They suspect her two daughters, Amariyona and her younger sister, were responsible. “The girls, when I drove up, they were like ‘Tee Tee we didn’t do this,’” said Robin Coney, Hall’s aunt. “And I was like ‘OK, if y’all didn’t do it, where were y’all when the people that was doing it did it?’” Family members say a big argument occurred between Hall and her daughters on Friday night at their home. “It was her gun. It was in her car,” said Coney. “So they had got it out. So I guess when they were doing all that to her, she was probably trying to get to her gun to fight for her life.” Pike County Sheriff Kenny Cotton said in the Enterprise-Journal that the fight was probably due to Hall punishing her daughters earlier that week. Sources say that the girls tried to run Hall over with the family car that week and she put her daughters on punishment. They possibly retaliated with a brutal attack on their mother on Friday. “I can’t imagine what’s going on inside their minds to process that,” Cotton said. “A mom is a mom no matter what.” After Hall was attacked, Coney said the girls walked around asking neighbors for a ride to McComb because their grandmother had just died. The family across the street wanted to speak to their mom first, but they got no answer when they called. Amariyona and her younger sister then reportedly went to the home of other relatives farther down the road. That’s when Coney said Hall’s younger sister, Ebony went to Hall’s place and found her lying on her back near the driver’s side of her car. Amariyona, 14, is being charged as an adult with murder and she’s being held in the Pike County Jail on a $150,000 bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 22. Meanwhile, the 12-year-old, who’s name and charges won’t be released because of youth court proceedings, is being held in the Adams County Detention Center.
