John McCain Diagnosed With Brain Cancer Senator John McCain is facing a serious illness, but tackling it head-on. CNN reports that the 80-year-old politician has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor known as a primary glioblastoma. The cancer was confirmed as he had a blood-clot removed from his brain last Friday. McCain is currently recovering from surgery in his Arizona home and considering treatment options, likely to include radiation and chemo. For the moment, he is reported to have good cognition, no seizures, and no pain associated with the tumor’s presence. Getty

Dave announced a while back that he was doing another residency at Radio City, and everyone expected guests like his shows a couple years back. WENN Kanye Gifts Fan In Physical Therapy Custom Yeezys Yeezys might not cure all, but they’re a pretty good incentive for a physical therapy patient. One of Kanye West’s fans posted a photo of the gift Kanye got him along with a heartfelt note of appreciation from the rapper: In Ye’s own handwriting, he told his fan that he was an inspiration and thanked him for sharing his journey. Tyler suffered from a spinal cord injury five years ago, and has been steadily making his way from being wheelchair-bound, to learning how to walk again. He is very open on his Instagram about all of his struggles and triumphs with his unfortunate paralyzation, and inspires others like him to not be ashamed of what they’re dealing with. Kanye saw Tyler’s inspirational posts about his journey, and sent the fan a pair of custom Yeezys. Getty Images Florida Child Dead With Heroin And Fentanyl In His System A 10-year-old boy in Florida is the latest and one of the youngest to die from our nationwide drug epidemic. The boy, Alton Banks, began vomiting after a trip to the public pool late in June. He was later found unconscious, and though he was rushed to a hospital, he was then pronounced dead. The exact circumstances for the child’s death are still unknown, but preliminary toxicology reports show that he had both heroin and fentanyl in his system–according to Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernández Rundle, this combination is lethal, and has taken many lives across the country. Investigators do not suspect that Banks was exposed to these drugs at home, leading them to question how this tragedy happened. In Florida, 3,228 people died from overdoses in 2015, a nearly 23 percent increase from the previous year. Because the case is still being investigated, Miami-Dade medical examiner’s office could not make any comment.
