Suge Knight Hospitalized For Blood Clots As you probably know by now, Suge Knight has been having a rough go of it for the last couple years while he’s been in prison. Plagued by multiple health issues and even rumored blindness while facing the judge off and on in the criminal death of his former friend . Now the former Death Row exec is back in the hospital for a chronic condition that has been plaguing him for 2 years. According to TMZ , Suge has been taken to USC Medical Center for treatement for his blood clots. Apparently, Suge’s been in solitary confinement and has frequently complained that the conditions are having a negative effect on his health. He’s been in and out of the hospital several times while his trial has dragged on over the last two years. He’s in stable condition at the moment…but seeing as how he’ll likely be headed right back to solitary once he’s out of the doctors’ care, who knows how long his healthy streak will last?. Splash
Someone we actually like…. Naturi Naughton Expecting Her First Child One of our favorite “Power” stars is pregnant. Naturi Naughton who plays Ghost’s downazz wife Tasha on the show, is expecting her first baby. The actress and her longtime boyfriend Ben will welcome a baby in July. “It’s been a little surreal, but I feel really good, healthy and strong,” the star, 32, told PEOPLE exclusively.”I feel like being pregnant and entering this new stage has made me stronger and more excited about life in general. Everything seems so much more purposeful.” Naturi also told PEOPLE that her “Power” cast mates have been supportive and protective of her on set including Omari Hardwick who plays her husband. She also revealed that while she eats healthy things like kale and strawberries, she’s been craving Cup Noodles. This is the first child for Naturi and Ben. School Suspends 12-Year-Old Girl For Selling What They Think Are “Sex Toys” A pre-teen in Wisconsin has been suspended from school because her principal believes that she was selling sex toys to her fellow students. The girl’s family thinks the principal is insane. According to a report in TMJ , the school board at Trinity Lutheran School in Racine, WI ruled that the toy that the girl’s father calls “water snake wiggles” was inappropriate even though the girl had permission from her teacher to sell them. “In your wildest imaginations, no adult could possibly view this as a sex toy, this is a water-filled bag,” said Milt Habeck, the father of the girl. Its said that the father plans to continue fighting the school until his daughter is cleared of wrongdoing. Seems like the school administration’s mind is a lot dirtier than the young girl’s is. What year is it again??? Jury Declines To Indict Paul Wall And Baby Bash On Drug Charges Two Houston artists are celebrating today after the drug charges were pending against them. As previously reported Paul Wall and Baby Bash were arrested in December after a police raid today for the distribution and manufacturing of a controlled substance. That controlled substance turned out to be THC, the compound that gives marijuana its high, after authorities alleged that they were selling weed out of the Paradise Smoke Shop. According to ABC 13 , five people were indicted on drug charges for their alleged roles in the shop and declined to indict five others including Baby Bash and Paul Wall. Texas also has a Misdemeanor Marijuana Diversion Program that offers persons who meet certain criteria the option to avoid being charged and prosecuted for misdemeanor amounts of marijuana if they successfully complete a rehabilitative program on decision making. Parents Scream Bigoted Remarks To Winning Robotics Team SMH Via The Root Some salty-azz parents in Indiana decided to be trifling after losing to five Black and Latinx 9-and 10-year-olds in a citywide robotics championship in Indianapolis. The parents and their rotten children screamed “Go back to Mexico” at the winning robotics squad according to witnesses. “They were pointing at us and saying that ‘Oh my God, they are champions of the city all because they are Mexican. They are Mexican, and they are ruining our country,’ ” said Diocelina Herrera, the mother of one of the children. The teacher who lead the team says the kids are written off because of their race when competing. “For the most part, the robotics world is kind of a white world,” said Lisa Hopper, the team’s coach and a Pleasant Run second-grade teacher. “They’re just not used to seeing a team like our kids. And they see us and they think we’re not going to be competition. Then we’re in first place the whole day, and they can’t take it,” she said. The kids seemed pretty stealthy after being racially targeted. The team’s leader, who is 10 said they couldn’t stop his shine! “They yelled out rude comments, and I think that they can talk all they want because at the end we’re still going to Worlds.” He added “It’s not going to affect us at all.
