Pregnant Native American Mother Of Three Shot Dead By Police Another mentally disturbed woman has been shot dead by police sent to “check on her” and ensure her safety. This time, it was a Native American pregnant mother of three. According to the Seattle Times , 23-year-old Renee Davis had suffered bouts of depression off and on for many years. According to her foster sister, she had texted someone earlier in the night saying that she was having a rough moment. The person she texted apparently called authorities, leading sherriff’s deputies to make a “wellness check” at her home on Muckleshoot Native American tribal lands shortly after 6:30 p.m. Davis’ family has a multitude of questions over what happened next. The Washington Post reports that no one answered the door when officers arrived on the scene. They knocked once more, again receiving no answer…that’s when deputies say they noticed two young children running around inside the home, at which point they entered. They say that is when they discovered Davis with a handgun. Deputies haven’t given further details, but at some point during their encounter with the pregnant woman, police opened fire on her , striking her at least once. She was pronounced dead on the scene. Davis’ sister says she’d never heard of Davis owning a handgun, though she did have a hunting rifle that she used often to hunt elk and deer on the reservation. Davis’ 2 and 3-year-old children were on the scene at the time of the incident. Her other child, age 5, was at the home of a family friend at the time. SMH!! How is it that police are there to make sure this allegedly suicidal woman doesn’t hurt herself…yet end up killing her instead? And with all those babies around? It doesn’t make much sense. Of course, the officers who did the shooting have been placed on paid administrative leave while the matter is investigated. You know the drill… Facebook

Professional Dancer Disappears After Wedding Dress Shopping Dancer Shirlene Quigley has gone missing after a brief bout of erratic behavior. The dance instructor, who toured with Beyonce on her “Crazy In Love” tour and danced for Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Missy Elliot among others, was last spotted boarding a bus to an unknown location around Midnight Sunday morning. Prior to this, Shirlene was seen leaving her North Bergen, NJ home around 3 pm. She drove her Mercedes to midtown, parked, then did some solo wedding gown shopping at a bridal shop on 21st street. The fact that she was wedding dress shopping is a big red flag to Shirlene’s family. Her father says that she is deeply religious and has been actively pursuing celibacy until marriage. Yet she’s made no mention to him or her mother of being in any sort of romantic relationship — much less one that is serious enough for her to be dress shopping. As he told New York Post : “What’s really odd is that, if she got married, she would so want me and her mother to be there,” Brad Quigley said. “I don’t know what’s going on.” Her father is extremely concerned, because she’s been acting erratically for several days now: The dad says her behavior has been strange in recent days. When one friend asked her a minor question last week, she texted him back, “I’m spending time with God, my father, and don’t have time to deal with this right now.” Wow. Sounds like her behavior was really erratic before her disappearance. Hopefully she’s okay! Well authorities now report that the 34-year-old died after a chiropractor accidentally tore open her artery. SMH… TMZ reports: Playboy model Katie May died from a simple visit to a chiropractor for an adjustment, which ultimately left her with a fatal tear to an artery in her neck … according to the L.A. County Coroner. TMZ obtained a copy of Katie’s death certificate, and it clears up a huge mystery surrounding her sudden death in February. The document says she died when a blunt force injury tore her left vertebral artery, and cut off blood flow to her brain. It also says the injury was sustained during a “neck manipulation by chiropractor.” Her death is listed as accidental. Sounds like a lawsuit’s coming from her family anyyyyyy day now. R.I.P.
