Now, there may be no divorce at all if no one busts a move within the next month and a half. Va HollywoodLife : Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Lamar Odom over a year ago, but their marriage may be far from over. Lamar has failed to respond to Khloe’s petition, which means the case will likely be dismissed in 45 days in no further action is taken, according to a new report. “Khloe has been advised by her divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, to formally enter a default judgment of divorce, which would render her single again,” a source told Radar. “With Lamar failing to respond, Khloe is well within her legal rights to go forward without him.” “But even after all of the heartbreak Lamar has caused Khloe, there is a hesitation on her part to do anything. If nothing is done, in the next 45 days, it will be dismissed by the judge,” the source added. “Khloe likely received a notice from the court, which states unless something is done to further her case, it will be dismissed. Since the divorce was never finalized, once the case is dismissed, they will need to refile for divorce to start the process again. In the meantime, they will remain married,” Kelly Chang Rickert, Certified Family Law Specialist tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Perhaps this is what Khloe wants, though. After all, Khloe recently admitted on an episode of Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons, “If I had my way I would still be married to Lamar. Even right now today I wish I was still married to him.” Furthermore, on Christmas, she posted a message on Instagram, saying she would “never let go of the memories.” And maybe she’s hoping Lamar will never let go of their marriage. Khloe better make a decision, and fast! If she doesn’t wanna take him back, why is she dragging her feet on finalizing things? SMH.
