Even though Wilson eventually becomes Captain America in the comic books, Mackie says that he still didn’t expect the transition to happen on-screen–he wasn’t even aware of his own future until his co-star Chris Evans informed him. “We were at his house and he goes, ‘You excited?’ And I go, ‘What you talking about? And he goes, ‘You don’t know?’ He jumps up, runs out of the room and comes back in with the script. He’s like, ‘Read it!’” Mackie continued, “And I read the scene, and I’m like, ‘Whoa,’…We cried. Not gonna lie I thought @virgilabloh would have some black people working with him but I’m not surprised pic.twitter.com/TLqb0CEbLb — lil shorty bulgogi (@wsupden) April 30, 2019 He received a ton of backlash this week after he posted photos from a recent Off-White event he attended with his employees. The pictures posted included some shots of the brand’s graphic team and art director and Abloh’s followers were quick to point out the lack of diversity among the staff, which led to people accusing him of not supporting other black creatives. Upset about being called out, Virgil responded to the criticism on Friday afternoon, posting photos of all the POC creatives he has worked with. The list features Kid Cudi, Playboi Carti, Serena Williams, Heron Preston, Tremaine Emory, Andre Walker, and Fabien Montique. After posting some other responses to the criticism, Abloh concluded his series of Instagram stories with these words: “Follow my whole design team. Support their creative ideas. Buy their clothes. Attend their events. Like their photos. Be global. Travel. Eat different food. Listen to techno. Walk don’t Uber. Love your neighbor.” Soon after responding on his own social media pages, Virgil also provided a statement to Hypebeast about the rumors spreading online. He said: “My design team is diverse as the world is big. The video shown was an Off-White dinner at the headquarters in the city of Milan, Italy. This party was to celebrate the hard work of the local Italian team.” Off-White also sent out a statement on the matter, which you can read below: “When questioned about diversity, Virgil Abloh takes pride in being African and American. His design team is diverse, and his practice has been built on making the art and design industry an inclusive community. Fellow designers like Samuel Ross, Heron Preston, No Vacancy Inn – by Tremaine Emory and Acyde Odunlami, Everard Best, Photographer Fabien Montique, amongst many others have been given a platform via Off-White . These are just a few of the many global voices and people sitting at the table and helping evolve the brand. Off-White is a black founded and owned business.” “He wishes to use this moment of being questioned to be a moment of reflection within the industry to showcase the talents behind their design entities and push to have a design community that represents the outside world.”

The singer, who still owes 50 Cent $30K after losing her revenge porn suit is fumbling on paying. 50 cent is using evidence for Mari’s IG account to prove she lied about missing a financial evaluation, blaming it on her grandfather’s funeral. Apparently, she was shooting a music video the same day. He’s also showing the judge her “I ain’t got it” merch to prove she isn’t taking the debt she owes seriously. TT might be in trouble, because on top of the $30K she owes, 50 was an additional $25,000 for getting the runaround. The Blast reports : 50 Cent is accusing Marí of constantly trying to avoid paying him, and he wants an additional $25,000 for the anguish of having to chase the reality star down. Marí failed to appear at a financial examination last month, after she had been ordered to appear over owing 50 Cent $30,000 in attorney fees. She was hit with the judgment after the rapper prevailed in her revenge porn lawsuit. In his newly filed documents, 50 says Marí deliberately failed to appear and says she has made “blatant efforts” to avoid paying him. He accuses the reality star of publicly mocking the court’s authority and using the judgment to generate publicity for herself, and has been “celebrating her flouting of the Court’s judgment.” Earlier this week, Teairra recorded herself sending off 50 cent to 50 Cent at a check cashing place. Between the criminal sex abuse charges and his inability to pay child support or bills, we think it’s pretty obvious that R. Kelly’s freedom will soon be penniless and imprisoned. Lord willin’. Just look at how hard the feds are going to make sure they nail Robert to the wall this time. According to TMZ , the badges are pressing the line of several people who are close to the singer in order to find out where his rumored stash of VHS tapes showing him having sex with young girls. The talk of these tapes first surfaced back when Robert was on trial back in 2008, but authorities were unable to locate them at the time. They hope to change that very, very soon. In addition, authorities are looking at other crimes that Robert may have committed. We’re told feds in Illinois are investigating Kelly on 3 different fronts: sex trafficking, tax evasion and obstruction of justice. If the sex abuse stuff doesn’t stick, maybe there’s a chance that these other charges will. Feds believe Kelly may have pressured and, or paid off witnesses during his 2008 trial. Long as he goes to prison for a long time we don’t really care about the legal semantics. Just get it done.

Source: KIKA/WENN.com / WENN Vince Vaughn Convicted Of Reckless Driving Actor Vince Vaughn has been convicted of reckless driving after his arrest for failing a drunken driving test last year . An attorney for the 49-year-old “Wedding Crashers” star entered a no contest plea to the misdemeanor count Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Vaughn was arrested on June 10 at a sobriety checkpoint in the upscale community of Manhattan Beach. According to police, the Wedding Crashers actor repeatedly refused to get out of his car and then failed a field sobriety test and a blood alcohol test. Vaughn ended up being sentenced to three years of unsupervised probation and ordered to complete a three-month alcohol program. According to Page Six , he has also reportedly been advised that if he drives drunk again and kills someone he could be charged with murder.

Source: Gary Hershorn / Getty Man Found Dead In Central Park In Apparent Suicide In extremely gruesome news, a young man was found dead in Central Park earlier this morning. Reports state he was hanging from an overpass with a plastic bag wrapped around his head. From the NY Post : The unidentified white man in his 30s was found dangling by an orange cord from the Winterdale Arch near Central Park West and West 82nd Street around 5:50 a.m. by a passerby who discovered his body and called 911, said cops and a park worker. It seems authorities and park workers believe it was a suicide . “He hung himself. Right off the railing at the edge of the arch,” the parks worker said. “I saw a long orange cord. He had tied a plastic bag around his head, too… It was awful to see. I’m about ready to go home.” The site states police haven’t said whether or not they have a suicide note just yet. Condolences to his loved ones.
