Source: John Warburton-Lee / Getty 25-year old Parker Lynch was killed on Monday after asking a friend to test a bulletproof vest he was wearing by shooting at him. According to Graham County Sheriff Office , Lynch put on the bulletproof vest and plate and asked his friend Steven Watson to shoot at it. Watson fired one round from a .223 single-shot rifle and hit Lynch in the abdomen. When police arrived, they found shot in the stomach and transported him to Mount Graham Regional Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery. Unfortunately, the 25-year old victim died during the operation. Watson has been arrested and booked into the Graham County Adult Detention Facility on a manslaughter charge. Damn.

Although she had a shaky (almost LoLo Jones fight having) start, Tamar Braxton was victorious on “Celebrity Big Brother.” Tamar won becoming the first Black person to win Big Brother and also became only the second person to ever win a U.S. Big Brother season unanimously after she beat out Ricky Williams. Tamar spoke on her big win that includes a $250,000 prize to Entertainment Weekly and told them that she’s buying a house for herself and her son little Logan. According to Tamar, she’s been living in an apartment as her divorce is still pending from Vincent Herbert and she promised Logan they’d get a house. “Well, right now, I’m in an apartment. I just … I don’t even know if I’m divorced. [Calls out to the room] Does anybody know?” PERSON WITH TAMAR ANSWERS: No, you’re not. [Laughs] Okay, when everything went down with [being let go from] The Real, a lot of things changed. And, unfortunately not really in my favor. But, I’m grateful for the person that I’ve become from all the hardships that I’ve been through. And the growth that I have received from all the changes that has been made. And so my son and I are going to be moving to a house. And every day he asks me to go back to his old house and that’s just not available to him anymore. And I promised him a month and a half ago before I moved into the house that mom will be working hard to not replace it, but build towards our future and getting us a new house. Because we do live in an apartment and that’s nothing that I’m ashamed of. Sometimes you’ve just got to start over to start right.” Tamar also told Entertainment Weekly that she’s glad she and Kandi rebuilt their friendship while in the house although things were rocky at first. Remember when Tamar told Kandi she “did something to her” on The Great Xscape tour and burst into frustrated tears? “Yeah, we got it back because we wanted it. We wanted to make amends more than we wanted to fight and that’s for the both of us. I just think that’s a testament to life. When you want to get along, when you want to do something, and it’s another person involved, they’ve got to want it too. You’ve got to work at it. And we constantly worked at our relationship in the house. I wasn’t too happy to see her face, I’m not going to lie, when I first saw her. But, in the end I’m really grateful that she was there. And I’m really grateful of the friendship that we’ve been able to have in the house and outside of the house.” Congrats Tamar!

Buzzfeed News reports that US government attorneys dropped an “aggravated felony” charge as grounds to deport him. The news org adds that ICE attorneys bring civil, rather than criminal, violations of immigration law in immigration court as means to deport immigrants, based on each individual’s background and cite speaking with his attorney Charles Kuck, managing partner of Kuck Baxter Immigration Partners LLC. “I think this case is emblematic of a lot of cases where people are detained for not correct reasons, but they don’t always have resources to fight the system,” Kuck told BuzzFeed. “This case is very emblematic of what happens in immigration court and detention.” 21 is still facing deportation but on the basis that he emigrated from the United Kingdom at the age of 7 and overstayed his visa. Once again, a LOT of good things have happened for 21 ever since Jay Z hired legal representation to assist in 21’s release. According to KOAA , the owner of Prime Time Sports in Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Stephen Martin, has been forced to close the doors for good after 20 years in business. Apparently, Martin was so outraged by Nike’s decision to align themselves with a kneeling Colin Kaepernick that he decided to pull all the Nike product from his shelves.No hats, no socks, no t-shirts, but most importantly, no jerseys. Martin used to carry the official team merchandise for all 32 NFL teams and was the only place in a significantly large area with such a product. “Being a sports store without Nike is kind of like being a milk store without milk or a gas station without gas. How do you do it? They have a monopoly on jerseys,” said Martin. You taste that? The sweet flavor of comeuppance…mmmm, just like grandmama use to make. Ronald Watts was such a dirty piece of s#!t that a Cook County judge along with State’s Attorney Kim Foxx have freed yet another 10 men from imprisonment behind false arrests. According to the Chicago-Sun Times , those 10 newly released men bring the total number of freed inmates to 63…SIXTY-THREE! Says Sean Starr of the Exoneration Project at the University of Chicago Law School: “When the system fails one of us, it fails every single one of us,” Starr said at a news conference after a brief court hearing before Chief Criminal Court Judge LeRoy K. Martin Jr. “Their stories are just the latest examples of a calculated, feigned ignorance on behalf of the Chicago Police Department of the victimization of black and brown, lower-income communities in Chicago. As citizens of the city, we need to demand more, we need to demand accountability.” In 2012 Watts and partner Kallatt Mohammed were caught and charged with stealing $5,000 from a federal informant who was recording the entire shakedown. That sting was set up because Watts and co. had been accused of targeting minorities living in the Ida B. Well housing projects for fugazi drugs busts and bogus arrests. How did these phony-a$$ arrests affect the people who were imprisoned and their loved ones, you ask? Well, allow us to tell you: Derrick Lewis, who twice was sent to prison after Watts’ officers planted drugs on him, spent a total of more than seven years in prison. The convictions made his then-fiancée question his character, and she left him for another man while he was locked up. Though both his arrests took place more than a decade ago, Lewis said he still suffers because of his time behind bars. “We lost things that you can never get back,” said Lewis, who protested that he was innocent from the moment he was arrested. “We have a right to feel how we feel, now that it’s coming out that we were actually telling the truth.” It’s an evil world we live in. Not only that she called out BET for sending out that “Nicki Minaj’s getting dragged by her lace front” tweet in response to her trophy. “It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else, that’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with and I don’t support that,” said Cardi. “However, I been taking a lot of s*** today, I’m seeing a lot of bulls*** today and I saw a lot of s*** last night. And I’m sick of this s*** I worked hard for my motherf***g album.” According to Cardi, she had support last year over “Bodak Yellow” but suddenly she’s getting pushback. Not only that she recorded “Invasion of Privacy” while heavily pregnant with baby Kulture all while detractors claimed her career was over because she was with child. “I remember last year when I didn’t win for ‘Bodak Yellow,’ everybody was like, ‘Cardi got snubbed, Cardi got snubbed.’ Now this year’s a f****g problem?” she said. “My album went two-time platinum, my n***. And every chart that there was, my album was always top 10. Number one album as well. “I f***g worked my a** off, locked myself in the studio for three months, my n***, then went to sleep in my own bed, sometimes for four days straight, pregnant.
