Black Women And Embracing All Forms Of Sex If we are to go by popular culture, we are to believe that this new generation of young people, particularly young women, now feel less restricted to discuss their love of mouth-to-meat knob slobbing .Rappers write odes to the BJ and it is not uncommon to see your favorite television or movie star act one out on the screen. We even have female entertainers like rappers and comedians brag about how well versed they are in the act. Culturally whatever stigma, which was attached to the act has all but dissipated. More…

Ever wonder why you don’t see women who look like us on the covers of Vogue?? Well we do. Especially after we broke the news of Keija Minor , the newly named Editor-in-Chief of Bride’s magazine, earlier this week. While we were over here giving her a shout out, we were also struck by the staggering fact that she’s the FIRST Black Woman to ever hold the position down at Condé Nast. Ever! The publishing empire that owns 18 magazines in total, (think Bride’s, Vogue, and GQ, just to name a few), has been in the business for 103 years! So it took over a century to finally have a well-qualified African American run isht. To show you a lack in progress…hit the flip and check out the awful pattern of Black Women gracing the cover of Vogue magazine (another Condé Nast publication)… They should be ashamed of themselves…but they probably don’t even think twice about it.
Yesterday, we put up the video above with a white girl going in on black women… with her sellout boyfriend. Today, she has made an apology video… sort of. She says “she’s irked at the backlash… and it’s ok for black folks to say things, but white folks cant…” SMH Yeah, this new video is like a shovel. Turn the page and peep her “sorry” video.

More than 30 years into the HIV/AIDS epidemic, black women remain among the hardest hit, and the hardest to reach about prevention. So a determined Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has launched an aggressive awareness campaign in Fort Lauderdale and nine other U.S. cities to urge this vulnerable population to take “take charge” of their health and get tested. Armed with free testing, a litany of radio, outdoor and transit ads, and information distributed in salons, stores, churches and other venues where black women frequent, “Take Charge. Take the Test” hopes to put a dent in some daunting statistics: One in 32 black women will contract HIV/AIDS in their lifetime, compared to one in 106 Latinas and one in 526 white women. Few areas of the country understand that better, or are a more fitting target, than South Florida, where Miami-Dade County ranks first, Broward ranks second and Palm Beach County ranks sixth in the nation for the highest number of new AIDS cases per capita, statistics show. Black women are among the fastest growing population of new cases in all three counties. Wow one in 32 black women vs. one in 526 white women….enough said. Source More On Bossip! Black women in America may tend to be heavier than white women but they are far happier with their bodies, a study has found : A nationwide survey found that 66 per cent of overweight or obese black women had high self esteem compared to 41 per cent of average-sized or thin white women. The survey by the Washington Post and the Kaiser Family Foundation interviewed more than 800 women across America to compile one of the most comprehensive studies in decades. However black women remain more likely to slip into obesity and suffer higher rates of diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and other weight-related health problems. The survey discovered that 90 per cent of black women thought living a healthful lifestyle is very important, outranking religion, career and marriage. Having ‘meat on your bones’ and ‘something to grab on to’ has always been considered healthy and larger black women celebrated and flaunted their bodies. “Big, black and beautiful” as the motto goes. But do you feel that because being big has become widely accepted in the Black Community as opposed to other races? Has that perception of beauty translated into our health taking a backseat, whereas in the White community being considered big is normally associated with being unhealthy? Source More On Bossip!
