Brie Larson’s move to being the hot, rich, top billed actress in Comic Book movies, which are the shit product in Hollywood that solidifies that the actor is only there for the fucking money, and anything they tell you about artistry is bullshit, they just want to get paid…. Annoys me…. Because she’s not hot, she’s just a lot of marketing, for some reason someone saw this dumpy bitch and decided to invest in her, and that she would be like Margot Robbie, get her that academy award they basically paid for, then use her in shitty action movies…all while not being that hot…. So here is this famewhore, who is getting what she wants, cuz the hot chicks are too busy being influencers…and the media hypes her, the people hype her, when she is really just a fucking lie, a scam…which I guess is what acting is all about…. Yes MYA is still alive….and she’s almost 40 and with that, despite Black Not Cracking…and many aged black ladies still looking banging…this bitch is thick as fuck…from the waist down…the way some of you may want your women…but in ways that scare me…even if they meant that she crush watermelons with her thighs…convenient in those times when you’ve got all kinds of watermelons and no knife to cut em….right? I realize mentioning watermelons when posting a black chick…is daring, edgy, and puts me at risk of being called racist… Ultimately, that racial connotation is your own racism because I just couldn’t think of any benefit of having legs this big – other than crushing melons… Deal with it. Back in November, Alaskan Bush People stars Noah Brown and Rhain Alisha announced their pregnancy . This week, Noah and Rhain welcomed their baby boy — and have revealed his name. You can see an amazing photo of this Alaskan Bush Grandbaby, below. In a statement to People , the family shared the wonderful news. “Rhain and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our son Elijah Connor Brown,” Noah proudly announces in a statement. Little baby Elijah was born on February 26. The wee one weighs in at 7 pounds 5 ounces and, at birth, measured 20 inches in length. “Mom and son are healthy and happy,” Noah adds. Speaking of his son, Noah says “he’s already working on his howl!” “Rhain is a wonderful mother already,” Noah praises. He continues: “I am truly in awe of her.” “And,” Noah affirms. “We are both very grateful and excited to welcome him to our family.” “He’s happy, healthy, and just perfect,” Rhain gushes with glee. That is so sweet!! And, thanks to Noah’s teenage sister Rain, we have a picture of the precious child. “Dear Elijah Conner, I first met you at 3:30am Tuesday February 26th,” Rain writes on Instagram. “And I will never be the same,” she says. “You have forever changed my heart,” Rain shares. “And I will spend the rest of my life protecting loving and teaching you all I know.” “May the road rise to meet you, and the wind always be at your back, and the rains fall softly on your fields,” Rain quotes. “May God hold you gently in the palm of his hand,” the quote concludes. “Love you Eli,” Rain gushes. “And I love you Noah and Rhain, you are amazing parents and you will only get better with time.” Speaking to People, Billy Brown celebrated becoming a grandfather. “The day is finally here,” he says excitedly. “We’re grandparents!” “Ami is over the moon and we all feel so blessed,” Billy says. There was a time when no one in the family believed that Ami would be alive today to expereince being a grandmother. “We can’t wait to meet the handsome young man,” Billy announces. “And have them all back on the mountain soon.” Noah has at times seemed to have a strained relationship with his family. Though happily engaged to Rhain, he already had a life in mind for himself and his fiancee. He has appeared as more of a guest star on recent seasons of Alaskan Bush People . It is perfeclty normal and healthy for an adult man to have his own life — and we somehow suspect that Billy and Ami aren’t complaining. Sure, they’re not seeing their son as much as they might like. But on the plus side, they got a grandbaby out of the deal! Sounds like a fair trade to us, you know? Congratulations are in order for the entire family, but especially for Noah and Rhain. We hope to see plenty more photos in the near future! View Slideshow: Alaskan Bush People: 13 Secrets They Don’t Want You to Know

Source: Hannah Turner-Harts / Getty On February 26th 2019, Solange Knowles , one of the most prolific artists of our generation, leveraged her platform to breathe life back into one of the first homes for Black people on the web, BlackPlanet. By visiting blackplanet.com/solange , fans can explore the latest artistic venture from the Grammy award winning star from the comfort of a platform we all feel nostalgic for. Source: Max Hirschberger / Solange Over a year ago, I penned a piece on HelloBeautiful, How Black Hollywood Is Failing The Black Press , exploring how the difficulties of working as a Black journalist becomes exasperated by the prejudice we face on red carpets and the propensity for Black talent to trust white outlets with their stories and breaking news over us. The article went viral, sparking industry wide conversations about the importance of Black press in preserving our narratives. The moment made its way to the eyes and ears of some of Hollywood’s A-Listers, with BlackTreeTV journalist Jaleesa Lashay asking actor Sterling K Brown about the invisibility of Black journalists in the press room for the Sag Awards. Actor and comedian Lil Rel also tackled the issue head on, telling audiences at the MTV Movie Awards that he would always look to speak to Black journalists first on the red carpets he attends to bridge the discrimination gap. With numerous examples of Black stars coming forward to express their support and dedication for the Black Press over the past couple of months, Solange’s partnership with BlackPlanet is a build up of a year’s worth of momentum. BlackPlanet was launched in 2001 when the Internet was still infantile and computers weren’t pocket sized or convenient. Within the realm of endless possibilities for content, creator Omar Wasow sought to carve out a unique space for Black voices and Black connections online. Keep in mind, Wasow’s stroke of genius precludes the mammoth social media era kicked off by MySpace (2003) and Facebook (2004.). As always, Black people were ahead of the trend, forecasting that one day we would all look to create little webpage extensions of our personalities and lives on the web. In the height of BlackPlanet’s reign, we all immediately became web designers before we even knew the career existed—creatively using copy and paste HTML code to customize our pages with our favorite songs, patterns and designs. Beyond our personalized content, BlackPlanet formed its own online community, chock-full of opportunities to share news and gossip, build friendships, and most importantly, make love connections with a stranger. As social networking exploded into an Internet phenomenon, fickle audiences migrated to mainstream platforms, forgetting the sacred temple we had built for our memories and conversations in our own online tribe. This is why Solange’s desire to collaborate with BlackPlanet, the Black owned digital arm of the Urban One family, is such a pivotal industry shift. For once, mainstream outlets had to flock to a Black owned URL to find the latest project from a Black star. In a normal news cycle we are chasing the latest Twitter Trend, today, Black folks owned the conversation first. If this triumphant moment is a any indication to how Black celebs X Black press can work in tandem to drive the culture forward, the future looks bright and gorgeous AF. Source: Mike Lawrie / Getty Solange Knowles displays her blackness loudly and proudly. As the younger sis of Beyonce, Solange has found an identity all her own and that identity is dipping unapologetic blackness. So what did Solange do to remind us she is Black AF? A lot of things! First, let’s get into the fact that instead of dropping new promo photos and videos on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook like the average uncultured artist, Solange put her money where her Black is and dusted off her Black Planet page. What better way to let the world know that you’re about to come out the gate swinging than reminding them of the first and most culturally important social media platform for African Americans. find me on black planet !! https://t.co/HUFJxjhtuY black planet 4 evaaa pic.twitter.com/5XgucUBPXC — solange knowles (@solangeknowles) February 26, 2019 Let’s talk about why this is major. So many African American millennials were introduced to social media by way of Black Planet. Black Planet offered you the ability to customize your profile with background wallpapers, music, etc using HTML and C++ (way before Myspace), it provided a guest book where your friends could leave comments, it told you when your homies were online and it allowed for you to connect and meet people within your city with a simple click of a button. Anybody who was anybody had a Black Planet page. Now, it appears Solange is cooking up something for a new album and although she could have promoted it on any platform in the world, she chose the blackest platform there ever was — Black Planet. Hit the flip to see more ways Solange has been moving the needle with her Black pride.

Vote below Bracket created by @cheinwunderland . pic.twitter.com/vSC5oZZaao — VICE (@VICE) February 25, 2019 Vice Ruined Black History Month This has been a wack a$$ Black History month. From alleged scammy beat downs to terrible Oscar winners to nooses on high fashion. We just wanted to have the end of our month in peace. Vice Media wouldn’t let us have that. They decided to put together a Black movies vs. TV bracket – presumably because they couldn’t think of more than eight black movies or TV shows. It’s all a mess. First, they had Martin vs. Fresh Prince IN THE FIRST ROUND. They even have Love & Basketball in the damn TV side. WTFFFFFF. did a bunch of white people from Vice come up with that black tv shows bracket — diana (@takeDianasbra) February 26, 2019 They are getting ceremoniously dragged to hell for it. This is trash and they deserve it.

Source: Solange for Black Planet / Solange for Black Planet There are also lyrics from some of her songs on Black Planet. “I made the pilgrimage back to the pagoda of third ward houston to answer this. When your body is all you have you best take care. When your body is all you have you best take care. For the bad weaves and two ways. I swallowed the light…. Threw my earnings like offerings and prayed it went to something that made her feel good. How much of ourselves do we leave at home and how much do we carry with us forever? But I did not sit in the sun. How much of ourselves do we leave at home and how much do we carry with us forever?” In case you didn’t know Black Planet is still alive well and was acquired by our parent company Radio One in 2008. Should Bossip get a Black Planet page like Solange???
