We would say “get this thirsty ho some water” but it appears she’d rather drink something else… Remember this guy ? No? Well, everyone he ever met in his life does! The graffiti artist, who will net $200 million in the Facebook IPO, says he was offered oral sex every day for the rest of his life, in exchange for a $2 million slice of his new wealth. David Choe gambled on stock, turning down cash, when he painted the Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto back in 2005, a decision that will make him an overnight millionaire when the company makes their initial public offering later this spring. The 35-year-old took a considerable risk when he turned down $60,000 cash for a social networking website that he regarded as a pale imitation of MySpace. But while most of us would be ecstatic to find ourselves a millionaire 200 times over, the art school drop out says he hates his new found fame and fortune, as it means that ‘more people will bother him’, Good Morning America reported. Choe said he was at home in bed when he first realised he’d been outed alongside around 1,000 Facebook employees who will become millionaires after the blockbuster $5 billion flotation. He said: ‘ I got a text from a woman I hadn’t spoken to in five years and she offered me “oral fun times” (ed.) every day for the rest of my life for $2 million.’ ‘Just out of the blue. It was out of nowhere and I was like ‘What the hell is happening?’’ We’ll tell you what the hell is happening sir, you’re WINNING!!! Source More On Bossip! Perry’s hair colorist weighs in on the pop star’s ever-changing locks. By Jocelyn Vena Katy Perry Photo: Jeff Bottari/ Getty Images Over the weekend, Katy Perry debuted another shade of blue hair in Las Vegas . The newer, bluer hair was more turquoise than the look she had sported weeks before on the set of an Adidas commercial . Katy is constantly changing her hair color from black to blond to pink, and seemingly every shade in between. These days, however, it seems she’s settled on blue. So, when MTV News spoke to her longtime hair colorist, Rita Hazan, she gave us the low-down on why Ms. Perry is feeling so blue these days. “Of course, being Katy, she is a lot more edgy and she’s cooler and she likes to take a lot of risks. And I love that she’s like, ‘I’m feeling a little blue, let’s go blue’ — not in her energy, just in her hair color,” Hazan explained to MTV News about the pop star’s current hair-color choice. “I felt like it’s the perfect color for her because her eyes are blue and she has the perfect skin tone to be a really vibrant, really cool, intense blue.” When Hazan first heard about Perry’s decision to deepen her locks to blue, she wanted her to be a “cobalt blue, muted cobalt blue; it’s really cool. It took me three days to come up with this color. I’m so obsessed with it. It’s like the wallpaper for my iPhone.” Since then, the color has lightened up a bit, but regardless of the shade, the hair still has everyone buzzing. “I was shocked by all the crazy reactions that people had to the blue ’cause I thought going from black to pink would have been the major reaction people would have,” she said. “But I kind of like that people are loving the blue ’cause I’m obsessed with blue. So any shade of blue, I’m loving. I know it’s not natural, but it sort of works in a natural way.” Of course, her hair color might have something to do with her recent split from Russell Brand . Kimberley Pierce, a colorist at Ion Studio in New York City, explained that she’s seen many a newly single chick come in and change up their mood with some new hair color. “They’ll come in for a consult and say, ‘My boyfriend and I just broke up and I want brown hair’ and they’re a blonde,” she said, adding that she usually has some advice for those rash decisions. “The best thing we can do for them is tell them to try a wig on first.” Whatever Katy’s reason for the shocking, eye-catching color change, Pierce added that it really works for her. “I kind of like that she got away from the pink because I feel like we’ve seen that so much. With the blue, it’s more vibrant and definitely she’s on her own with it,” she said. “She’s kind of all the way in with the blue. She’s kind of this candy-coated sort of person. So I guess blue would be the natural transition, or purple. It’s nice to see her experiment with different things.” What do you think of Katy Perry’s new blue hair? Leave your comment below! In 2011, 21 moved more than 5.6 million copies in the U.S. By Gil Kaufman Adele Photo: Getty Images The music industry has been stuck in a rut for nearly a decade. But every once in a while, it still manages to produce one of those unstoppable hit albums that give everyone that good old feeling. This year’s model is Adele ‘s 21 , which not only sold more copies than any other album in the U.S. in 2011 (more than 5.6 million to date), but which has also moved the most units of any artist since 2004. According to a Reuters report , those gaudy figures (which top 15 million worldwide) make the British songbird the first artist to cross the 5 million mark in one year since Usher did it with his fourth studio album, Confessions , which sold 7.9 million units more than seven years ago. And to think she did it by releasing just two mega singles, “Rolling in the Deep” and “Someone Like You,” and barely touring North America due to recurring vocal issues. There have been other big hits along the way to Adele’s mark, including Eminem selling more than 3.4 million copies of his comeback Recovery album last year and Taylor Swift taking the honors in 2009 with Fearless , which sold 3.2 million copies. But none have come as close to Usher’s mark in the interim. There doesn’t seem to be any chance Adele will be surpassed by the end of the year: The closest contenders are Lady Gaga’s Born This Way (2.08 million) and Michael Bubl
The film might not hit theaters until next year, but casting announcements and exclusive interviews got fans worked up for March release. By Kara Warner Jennifer Lawrence in “The Hunger Games” Photo: Murray Close For the millions of fans who have been eagerly awaiting a film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ best-seller “The Hunger Games,” 2011 gave them even more to be eager about as details trickled out about the movie, which is due in March. We at MTV News have been as caught up in the frenzy as everyone else. And along the way, we’ve been able to speak with the major players involved in the “Games,” gleaning the juiciest details from the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Back in January, before casting was solidified, Hemsworth told MTV News he’d read the script and that he could actually see himself in the role of Peeta. After Hemsworth won the role of Gale instead, we chatted up his older brother and fellow actor Chris Hemsworth, who revealed that he helped Liam prep for his big audition by reading the role of Katniss. “I did. Swear to God,” he said. “I read that. Put my girly American accent on.” In May, we had our first “Hunger Games”-centric chat with Jennifer Lawrence . She discussed fans’ initial protests over her blond hair , which quieted after she dyed it, along with the intense hours of archery training she went through to become as convincingly handy with a bow and arrow as Katniss is. “It’s lots of training, but the training is actually really fun,” she said. “I’ve done archery for about six weeks, rock climbing, tree climbing and combat and running and vaulting,” she said. “Also yoga and things like that to stay cat-like.” We also caught up with some of the film’s supporting actors. Lenny Kravitz, who is ready to further prove his acting chops in the role of sympathetic District 12 stylist Cinna, said he’s doing his homework by immersing himself in all Collins’ books. Elizabeth Banks was a bit more cagey in revealing any details about her transformation into pink-haired, type-A Effie Trinket, but she did admit that she and co-star Woody Harrelson have chemistry. Harrelson, who plays alcoholic Hunger Games survivor Haymitch Abernathy, praised Lawrence’s portrayal of Katniss and revealed that his character’s hairstyle was inspired by his own brother. “I was like, ‘OK, let’s get a wig. Let’s do the Brett Harrelson hair,’ ” he said of the long and slightly shaggy style. “It’s kind of cool. I really liked the look. It’s a fun character, and I think it’s going to be a good movie.” Fellow supporting player Stanley Tucci , a.k.a. the blue-haired Caesar Flickerman, echoed Harrelson’s sentiments about Lawrence’s performance. “She was amazing,” he said. “They were all amazing. She’s just so good and so mature at such a young age. It was really fun. Really fun. And [director] Gary Ross, he’s great.” We didn’t have to take Tucci’s word for it, as we also sat down with Ross for an exclusive interview surrounding our debut of the “Games” teaser trailer back in August. The “Seabiscuit” and “Pleasantville” helmer took us through his detailed plans for the film and the challenges of filming. And we finally stole a few moments with Peeta Mellark himself, Josh Hutcherson . who took us through his grueling audition process and the anxious wait for the news of his casting, why he was “so right” for Peeta and his excitement for the fans to see the finished product. “It’s exciting to hear people are that interested in something you’re doing, so it’s a little nerve-racking, but I’m onboard,” he said. “The fans for ‘The Hunger Games,’ they’re die-hard. They’re the best fans in the world, so I’m really excited for them to see the movie.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Hunger Games.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . ‘I generally get behind everything Ron does, no matter how extreme,’ Nick Offerman tells MTV News of his ‘Parks and Recreation’ antihero. By Josh Wigler Nick Offerman in “Parks and Recreation” Photo: NBC If ever there were a man deserving of all the eggs and bacon you have, it’s Ron Swanson. The Parks Department director of Pawnee, Indiana, is perhaps the manliest man on television, complete with what is indisputably the manliest mustache on TV today. There’s something else you should know about Mr. Swanson too: He’s the best television character of 2011! Swanson won the highest honor in our Top 50 TV Characters of 2011 countdown over the likes of cancer-stricken chemistry teacher-turned-murderous meth cook Walter White of “Breaking Bad” and our very own “Jersey Shore” favorite Snooki. All three could have easily earned that top prize, but in the end, there’s just no resisting the raw, hilarious awesome that is Ron Swanson. But Ron would be nothing without Nick Offerman, the actor, comedian and professional woodworker who has played the staunch anti-government government employee for four seasons of “Parks and Recreation.” Offerman spoke with MTV News about his status as 2011’s top television character, why Ron is such an appealing figure, his battle with the terrible Tammys and much, much more. MTV : Congratulations! Ron Swanson is our #1 pick for the best TV character of the year. It goes without saying that we’re all very big fans over here! Nick Offerman : Well, thank you. I’m over the moon. I’m so flattered. It’s crazy! MTV : When did it dawn on you that Ron was such a big hit? We’ve seen countless Internet memes about him, and he’s always the topic of conversation after a “Parks and Rec” episode airs. When did it hit you that Ron had really arrived? Offerman : It sort of came out of the blue around the holidays two years ago. It was the fall of our season two. My wife [Megan Mullally, who plays Tammy Two] and I don’t really cotton to the Internet too much, so people started saying to me, “You’re getting a lot of attention on the Internet. You might want to think about getting a publicist. I think you might have something here.” I said, “OK, that sounds like hogwash to me, but I’ll go along with it.” And I haven’t looked back. It’s been incredibly gratifying and astonishing. See our Top 50 TV Characters of 2011, 50 to 41, including a masked bachelor and dashing novelist/crime-fighter. MTV : You spend so much time playing this character, four seasons deep now. For you, what’s the appeal of Ron? What is it about this character that you love playing so much? Offerman : Well, I guess I spent so many years of my career utilizing a sense of humor that we see in Ron and being rejected for it. For so many years, people have been telling me to talk faster. “Try not to be so scary.” [ Laughs. ] To finally find writers that have such simpatico with me and my sense of humor has got to be my favorite thing about Ron. They write me a scene where the most important thing I can do is remain silent and immobile, and that’s the hilarious part. [ Laughs. ] It kind of feels like coming home after all these years. MTV : It’s been a big year for the character. Right out the gate in season four, we got to meet the other two Tammys in Ron’s life, Tammy One and Tammy Zero. What was it like finally getting to interact with all these legendary women in Ron’s life? Offerman : For me the actor, it’s such an embarrassment of riches to do an episode with Megan, Patricia Clarkson and Paula Pell. It’s like being told that you’re going to play in the World Series with the most incredible all-star team assembled as your teammates. I was really traumatized by the effects all these women had on Ron. His face was denuded of his mustache, much like Samson having his locks snipped off by Delilah, as well as his family jewels. It really felt like I was being simultaneously raped and fed a delicious meal. [ Laughs. ] See our Top 50 TV Characters of 2011, 40 to 31, including a “hootie hoo!”-hollering chef and funnyman talk-show host. MTV : Do you think we’ve seen the last of the Tammys? As in, are there any other Tammys lurking about out there in Ron’s life? Offerman : I can’t imagine. I think the power of this triumvirate is so all-encompassing. I think we have more than enough fuel for many more seasons with the Tammys we’ve established. MTV : You brought up something that I was going to touch on: Ron losing his mustache really was a Samson moment. Could Ron ever truly be Ron Swanson without that mustache, or is it critical to who he is? Offerman : I think if, God forbid, Ron was in some sort of disfiguring accident that disallowed him to grow whiskers anymore, I don’t think he could bounce back. I think Ron is an accessory to the mustache, or the mustache is an accessory to Ron. My friend is this genius artist named Pat Roberts, and he has a painting of a wimpy-looking sheriff with a sheriff’s badge on, and there’s a balloon with this mean look on its face, hanging next to the sheriff. It says: “For obvious reasons, Staticky Pete wore the badge, but everyone knew the balloon was the sheriff.” I think everyone knows that the mustache carries the thunder for Ron. Check out our Top 50 TV Characters of 2011, 30-21, including a depressed meth cook and a football coach with a heart of gold. MTV : One of the reasons we love Ron so much is that he gets away with things that we only wish we could get away with in our life. For example, when he discovers how much personal information can be learned about him through Google — that you can see a satellite image of his property — his response is to throw his computer in the trash. I can certainly relate to that. Do you relate to Ron’s view of the world? Offerman : Absolutely. I’m very much a Luddite by choice. I grew up on a farm out in the middle of a cornfield. You’d go for days without being reached by people. Now, in the information age, you have everyone at your beck and call — or, more to the point, to be at the beck and call of the world — on a device in your pocket, and it’s incredibly distasteful. I often fantasize about throwing the whole thing in the ocean. Unfortunately, I’m in a business where my agent tells me I have a meeting with Patricia Roberts next week. MTV : You’re hooked in, sir. There’s very little you can do. Offerman : There is, but look, what my wife and I do is eschew as much as we can. We don’t do Twitter, we don’t do Facebook. It’s all we can do to answer our e-mails; that already takes up too much time, so we don’t do much [Web] surfing. MTV : On the flipside, is there anything about Ron that you can’t relate to? Are there things he does that you just can’t see yourself pulling off in your life? Offerman : In principle, no. I generally get behind everything Ron does, no matter how extreme. But when Ron exhibits superhuman abilities, that’s when it crosses the line. We shot an episode recently where I have to jam an entire hamburger into my mouth. We did a take and it was obviously really hard — bun and all, I had to shove the whole thing into my mouth! We did a take, and the director said to the prop lady, “Was that the small, medium or large burger?” It was the small. “Can we get another one?” And I go, “Hey! I understand that Ron could get the whole slab of a cow in his mouth and pull out a bone like Fred Flintstone, but I’m an actor in the physical world!” [ Laughs. ] There’s only so much grub I can cram into my mouth! Check out our Top 50 TV Characters, 20-11, featuring a sword-wielding 9-year-old and a Trouble Tones teen. People will also ask me … there’s this one episode where Ron makes an Irish harp in one night after drinking an enormous amount of whiskey. People will say to me — and this is the power of TV — did you really do that? [ Laughs. ] No! No one can really do that! That’s ridiculous! It’s a hilarious comedy! Even my brother who works in my shop with me, there’s one episode where I’m carving a chunk of wood, and in the next scene there’s a big, wooden swan that I’ve ostensibly carved in about 40 minutes. And my brother said, “Did you really carve that?” [ Laughs. ] He’s familiar with my work! He’s familiar with my method! It would take me a day and a half if I hustled. For shame! MTV : “Parks and Rec” is one of the funniest shows on TV. I think a lot of that owes to the fact that, obviously, the writing is incredible, but the cast is so strong. These characters play off each other so well. What’s that dynamic like on set, four seasons into the game? Offerman : It’s so fun. We never stop talking about how lucky we are that we get to do this for pay. We’re shooting an episode this week where the whole cast is in a recording studio recording a song for Andy Dwyer. That situation is so goddamn enjoyable, and everybody gets to add their flavor to this incredibly steamy goulash that we’re serving. It’s so fun to look around and watch one person after another hit a home run. Don’t miss our Top 10 Characters of 2011, including a “Jersey Shore” guidette and a real daughter of New Jersey. MTV : Final question for you: We know what Ron’s capacity is … but what is the most bacon and eggs you’ve ever eaten? Offerman : Gosh … I’d have to go back to my youth when my dad and I would have bacon and eggs every morning. I’d say five eggs, and I take those over medium, and close to a pound of bacon. MTV : Wow. Offerman : I can pack it away, but my capacity pales in comparison to Mr. Swanson. Only Ron Swanson could stomach all of the eggs and bacon you have. Britney Spears is back in a big way these days. With what some are calling the best album of her career in Femme Fatale and a happy, stable personal life, the future is bright for the 29-year-old. After stunning fans with her chic look on the VMA red carpet, however, you have to wonder if Glamour UK sold her a little bit short on its new cover. While her gleaming, feathered Matthew Williamson frock is stunning, the blue and orange color scheme is not. Plus the roots and raccoon makeup? The magazine claims to offer 568 cool looks, yet it couldn’t give Britney any one of them? Maybe we’re just being nit-picky here. You tell us below: Britney Spears’ Glamour UK cover is totally …
