Bobby Brown has checked into rehab to deal with a reliance on alcohol. Good, encouraging news, right? Not so much, says Bobbi Kristina Brown. Brown’s 18-year old daughter, who skipped out on her dad’s recent wedding and is considering a name change , was asked about her father’s attempts to get clean and whether she’s proud of him for “rising above” his substance abuse issues. “Rise above’ is not the word you should use,” Bobbi told TMZ in response to the question. “Not at all.” Ouch. Brown checked into a facility this week, following a March arrest for DUI and years worth of constant drinking. Bobbi doesn’t think it will make a difference. Let’s hope he proves her wrong.

Cissy Houston Labels Bobbi Kristina/Nick Gordon Relationship as "Incest"

Drama surrounding Whitney Houston’s family continues to persist, long after this singer has passed away. The latest controversy surrounds daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who announced this week that she’s dating Nick Gordon , a young man taken in by her mother many years ago and raised as her stepson. Bobbi and Nick went public with their status on Twitter, with Gordon emphasizing there’s no blood relation between the two and telling the “haters” they “don’t have a brain” if they find anything wrong with the scenario. Turns out, according to TMZ sources, Gordon was challenging Whitney’s mom, Cissy, who a friend claims takes major exception to her granddaughter cozying up to her quasi sibling. She has reportedly labeled the relationship “incestuous” and believes Nick is taking advantage of a vulnerable Bobbi. Moreover, this mole says Cissy is willing to take an extreme step in order to split the couple up: she’s asking Whitney Houston’s Estate to legally evict Gordon from the premises. In the latest issue of Maxim , Jennifer Love Hewitt utters the understatement of the century. Asked about her favorite body part, the actress gets right to it with the magazine and replies: “I like my boobs. They’ve always served me well. They’re good.” VERY, VERY good, we’d say of those 36C snack trays. Get a closer look for yourself in the following photo or on the official poster for Hewitt’s next project, The Client List . On that upcoming Lifetime drama, which premiere April 8, JLH portrays the head of a brothel, which meant a unique way of burning calories to prepare for the role: pole dancing lessons. “It’s a great way to stay in touch with your sexuality,” she says. “I also love to cook, so I can have a cake in the oven while I do a pole dance.” Finally, yes, the actress admits, she still vagazzales, an art she first explained during an appearance on Lopez Tonight . “It’s where you stick Swarovski crystals on the female area to add a little glitz and glamour. I actually named it that because it’s like BeDazzling for your hookah. “The fun part of being a girl is that there are little beauty things you can do to make yourself feel special. I can walk around all day and think, ‘Nobody has any idea that I have a sparkly secret in my pants right now.'”

Come September, Justin Bieber will no longer be his family’s only author. The superstar, who signed a second book deal last month, will soon need to make room for his mother, Pattie Mallette. Her memoir “Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom,” will come out on 9/18/12 and center on her journey from a troubled teen… to the single parent of a global sensation. Referring to others that have suffered through similar experiences – abuse, trauma, addiction – Pattie says of the book: “I want them to see that no matter how desperate their circumstances may be, they can have hope for a better future.” Agrees Jennifer Leep, the editorial director at publishing company Revell: “Pattie’s story is a powerful example of courage and determination that will inspire anyone who has faced struggles in life. Whitney Houston Will Leaves Everything to Bobbi Kristina

Whitney Houston may have died unexpectedly on February 11, but the singer at least had the good fortune to plan ahead. In a 19-page document obtained by Inside Edition , it’s revealed that Whitney left absolutely everything to her teenage daughter. This includes personal wealth, furniture, clothing jewelry and cars. The money will be placed in a trust – with Whitney’s mother, Cissy, serving as executor – until Bobbi Kristina, who turned 19 on March 4, is 21 years old. She then gets more cash when she turns 25 and the rest when she’s 30. Houston initially drafted the will in 1993, but amended it to the current version in April 2000. Bobbi Kristina, meanwhile, will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for her first interview since her mom’s passing this Sunday evening on OWN.

Whitney Houston Funeral Coverage: Sold to Benefit Bobbi Kristina

Based on her reaction to her mother’s death – a pair of hospitalizations and rumored drug use – it’s no surprise that the family of Whitney Houston is concerned over the emotional well-being of Bobbi Kristina Brown. But a rep for the family now confirms they are worried about her financial well-being, as well. On Saturday afternoon, The Associated Press provided a live feed of the funeral in Newark, one that was posted by countless websites (including THG). However, we were required to take down the video within 24 hours and this is why: The family has “agreed to license footage to several media outlets,” an insider tells TMZ, adding that the Houstons are charging “customary fees” to … “help maximize the estate for the benefit of Bobbi Kristina.” The ceremony lasted for a couple hours and included performances by Stevie Wonder (above), Alicia Keys, R. Kelly and a beautiful eulogy by Kevin Costner .

Report: Rehab on the Way for Bobbi Kristina?

Bobbi Kristina Brown will attend her mother’s funeral today in Newark, New Jersey. But sources say her future beyond this memorial is unclear. Insiders tell TMZ that many members of Whitney Houston’s family are pushing for the 18-year old – who was hospitalized twice in the hours following the artist’s passing last weekend – to enter a rehab program… but are waiting until after the funeral to express this hope to Bobbi. A scene outside of Whitney Houston’s funeral. Brown has reportedly battled her own substance abuse problems in the past, as she was supposedly caught snorting cocaine last year. The family wants to learn from the tragedy of her mother, allegedly, and convince the teenager to seek help before it’s too late. But they also want her to properly mourn the parent to whom she was so close first. It’s a complicated situation and we can all just hope Bobbi Kristina comes out of it okay.
