Oprah scored the first interview with Bobbi Kristina since the death of her mother, Whitney Houston. The interview was intimate, revealing and very heartfelt. Bobbi Kristina says she is dedicated to continuing her mother’s legacy and plans to dance, act and sing. Why did Bobbi Kristina agree to do her first interview with Oprah since Whitney Houston’s death? Some say it was to help Oprah’s struggling ratings on her OWN Network, others say it is for money. However, according to sources, the REAL reason is because Bobbi Kristina feels that Oprah is “trustworthy.” Bobbi is telling friends — Oprah “was loyal to my mom, and never did my mother wrong, or made her look bad. She always looked out for my mom.” As a result, we’re told Bobbi feels Oprah would show her the same respect — not bringing up issues that could potentially show Bobbi in a negative light … i.e. substance abuse. According to sources close to Bobbi, Oprah was one of the first people who reached out to her after Whitney passed. Whitney Houston’s mom Cissy Houston is making sure she gets rid of all the bad influences from her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina’s life, and the first person on the list is a 22-year-old man who Whitney treated like her very own son. Nick Gordon was taken in by Whitney as a troubled youngster when she was living in Atlanta, and though he was never formerly adopted, she considered Nick her son and he even called her “mom.” According to TMZ : Cissy believes Nick is a bad influence on her granddaughter and wants him OUT of the Houston family home in Atlanta ASAP, and has already informed her lawyers about the eviction in case he puts up a fight. Eighteen-year-old daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Sunday, according to reports. According to TMZ , Bobbi Kristina, who was Houston’s only child with ex-husband Bobby Brown, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital on Sunday afternoon (February 12). She was taken out on a stretcher from the Beverly Hilton, the same hotel where her mother reportedly died. Unnamed law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ that police responded to a call for a medical emergency, but would not confirm that the person transported was Houston’s daughter. In a statement issued to MTV News the Houston family expressed their grief in this trying time. “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly,” the statement read. “We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends.” It was reported on Saturday that Bobbi Kristina got into a shouting match with police officers after she was denied entry into the fourth-floor room where her mother had died. TMZ reported she demanded to see her mother’s body, but police informed her that no one was allowed to see the body. Houston’s cousin, singer Dionne Warwick, was also turned away. Bobbi Kristina’s dad, Bobby Brown, was also distraught over the death of the pop and R&B diva. While performing a Mississippi concert with his band New Edition on Saturday night, Brown was visibly shaken but still managed to address the crowd, telling fans that their support for New Edition over the years was the only thing that allowed him to get through the show. “First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all,” he said. “Second, I would like to say, ‘I love you Whitney.’ The hardest thing for me to do is come on this stage.” MTV News’ Sway and James Montgomery will be live from the Grammys red carpet tonight starting at 5 p.m. ET to get reactions from music’s biggest stars on the death of Whitney Houston. Two-time Bachelor Brad Womack says it’s been difficult keeping his engagement to Chantemily secret this entire season. We can imagine so. The long wait comes to an end March 14, however, and he says he can’t wait to reveal his choice to the world. He’s counting down the days. “Every Monday night since January 3 has not been a good night at my house,” he told People . “We will see how [my fiancee] handles it.” “I was particularly scared of the overnight, exotic date episode.” The pre-season finale blitz has Brad excited, but increasingly antsy. “It’s brutal. You go on [the show], you find someone, you choose each other and then you hit pause. You can’t just start the daily life stuff.” “I’m excited to move in together and go on real dates,” Brad Womack adds. “My only intention [in doing the show] was to start a future.” Hard as it’s been, and unclear as The Bachelor spoilers have been about the direction of the season, Brad was always sure of his choice. “Do I think this woman is the one? Damn right I do,” he says. “I probably shouldn’t say this but my heart was in a specific place pretty early on.” “I’m in love. There’s strength there and a real relationship. According to the March 14 issue of The National Enquirer , Bobbi Kristina Brown is taking after the troublesome habits of her parents. That tabloid has printed multiple photos of the 18-year old allegedly snorting a white substance, along with quotes from an ex-boyfriend who says: “Krissi is addicted to cocaine. I’ve tried to stop her, but all she said was, ‘I’m just like my mother!’” Houston has reportedly battled drug problems for years. Her weight has dropped significantly and her concerts have been a disaster . “Krissi has grown up seeing both her parents high on a regular basis,” this former lover claims. “Whitney needs to see what her daughter is doing to herself. If Krissi doesn’t stop soon, this addiction to cocaine will kill her!” In 2008, Bobbi Kristina was admitted to a psychiatric ward after she attempted to stab her mother. She then turned the blade on herself and tried to slit her own wrists. In response to this tabloid story, Bobbi has Tweeted: The pictures_ a former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes..But it’s really not what it looks like.. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.
