 (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images) Donald Trump Responds to Michelle Obama’s Comments From Book According to CNN , Donald Trump clapped back at former first lady Michelle Obama and former President Barack Obama over a forthcoming memoir in which the former first lady said she would “never forgive” Trump for his role in the “birther” movement. “She got paid a lot of money to write a book and they always expect a little controversy…I’ll give you a little controversy back, I’ll never forgive (President Barack Obama) for what he did to our US military. It was depleted, and I had to fix it,” Trump said. “What he did to our military made this country very unsafe for you and you and you.”     It sounds like Donnie didn’t want any smoke with the former first lady, so he lashed out at Barack.

Ain’t Over: Florida’s Andrew Gillum, Ron DeSantis Race Now In Recount Range

Image via Wilfredo Lee-Pool/Getty Images Florida Gubernatorial Race In Recount Range There could be a mandatory recount in the Florida Gubernatorial race. As previously reported Andrew Gillum conceded to Republican ”  Ron DeSantis Tuesday and tearfully told his supporters he was “disappointed” that he couldn’t bring in a win in the Sunshine State. At the end of election day, Gillum secured 48.9% of the vote to Desantis’ 49.9%  thus causing his concession. Now, however, the Democrat’s seemingly taking it back amid reports that the race was “too close to call” and a recount could be on hand. His campaign released a statement saying that they’re dedicated to making sure EVERY vote is counted, no matter what. “On Tuesday night, the Gillum for Governor campaign operated with the best information available about the number of outstanding ballots left to count. Since that time, it has become clear there are many more uncounted ballots than was originally reported. Our campaign, along with our attorney Barry Richard, is monitoring the situation closely and is ready for any outcome, including a state-mandated recount. Mayor Gillum started his campaign for the people, and we are committed to ensuring every single vote in Florida is counted.”   USA Today reports that Thursday afternoon the unofficial count gave Republican nominee Ron DeSantis a 38,000-vote lead. That number puts Gillum and DeSantis in the 0.5 percent margin that requires an automatic machine recount once the count is certified. Secretary of State Ken Detzner will officially determine Saturday which Florida races are over and which fall within the recount margin. Prayers up for the Gillum campaign, he’s an excellent candidate for sure and deserves to have every single vote counted.

Post-Midterm Casualty: Donald Trump Forces Jeff Sessions To Resign As Attorney General

Image via Taylor Hill/WireImage/Getty Jeff Session Pushed Out As Attorney General Donald Trump is a dumba$$, but he has enough sense to know when things won’t help his cause. For literally months now Trump has been badgering and bullying the now former Attorney General from both Twitter and press conference podiums. The thought among political talking heads was that Trump wouldn’t fire Sessions prior to the midterm election because it would look bad on him and ultimately affect the vote. Well, the midterms aren’t even 24 hours from being closed and Trump has finally pushed Sessions out the airplane. According to CNN , Sessions had submitted a resignation letter that leaves no doubt as to why he is vacating his position. It begins: Dear Mr. President, At your request, I am submitting my resignation… Translation (in our own words): “Here, you sniveling son-of-a-b!t¢#, take this f***ing resignation and shove it up your orange a$$!” We damn sure won’t miss Jeff Sessions, he’s one of the worst Attorney Generals we’ve ever seen and at his very best he’s a bigot who has no regard for Black lives or people of color. That said, Trump is really trying to get this Mueller investigation out the paint and Jeff Session was one of the few things in his way. Scary times.

You’ve probably heard about the Yale Law School graduate/ novelist who won the Democratic primaries in Georgia and will probably replace the state’s Republican governor, Nathan Deal. But there’s so much more to learn about the Mississippi born candidate who served six years as both the first black Democratic leader in the state House and the first woman. Just last month, Abrams told Essence , “Black women have demonstrated an enthusiasm and engagement in politics that is unmatched. According to a CNN report, Kelly will not be filming her show this week and is unlikely to return. NBC News executives have long thought her show was a “disaster” long before this week’s Blackface debacle. The DailyMail is reporting the Megyn’s staff staged a full-fledged revolt against her by reporting to the human resources department to document their “disgust” with her comments how they “don’t like her personally” either. NBC insiders also state that Kelly and Executive Producer Jenny Levin have “created a toxic environment” and should both be fired immediately. While Kelly is scheduled to take part in the network’s midterm election coverage, she might be too toxic to bring back that quickly. It is also reported that Megyn has split with her talent agency, CAA, and has hired a lawyer. Perhaps to negotiate a fair exit out of her contract with is worth $23 million in year two of a three-year contract. We damn sure won’t miss Megyn, even if all those shameless Black people applauding her for her weak-a$$ on-air apolo-cry yesterday do. Ding-dong the WASPy witch is dead.
