Butt Crack Is Wack: Florida City Planning To Revise Sagging-Pants Ban To Include Women

Now the ladies can’t let it hang either… Florida City Wants To Extend Sagging Pants Ban To Include Women If you’re a woman and plan on visiting Opa-Locka, Florida any time soon, you might want to leave those low rise jeans at home. via Fox News Women with saggy pants aren’t welcome in Opa-Locka. While the South Florida city banned pants that expose undergarments in 2007, commissioners are considering revising the ordinance to allow police officers to ticket men — and women — who violate the rule. The Miami Herald reports Commissioner Dorothy Johnson is sponsoring the change. She says she believes some women in the city need to improve their image. She wants to get some community feedback before offering the potential ordinance revisions in December. Violators currently face a $500 fine, which is double the original amount, or 25 hours of community service. Sentences are determined during a hearing by the city’s code enforcement board and a city magistrate. Do you think this ban should also include women? Shutterstock Continue reading

Former Obama Administration Official Says The President Will “Pay The Price” For Shady Health Care “Over Promising”

Van Jones: Obama Will Pay Price On Health Care Promises Van Jones feels the president was trying to “do too much” with that Obamacare website and will pay for reneging on promises. According to Yahoo!: This morning on “This Week,” Crossfire co-host Van Jones, a former Obama administration official, said the president would “pay a price,” for reversing course on his now famous promise that those Americans who like their plans could keep them if them if they wished under Obamacare. “”And he overpromised. And he will, listen, he will pay a price. ‘Mission accomplished,’ you pay a price. ‘No new taxes,’ you pay a price. ‘You keep your plan,’ you pay a price,” Jones said. During his appearance on the “This Week,” roundtable Jones also tweaked the Obama administration for being too ambitious with Healthcare.gov, which has been plagued by problems since its launch last month. “First of all, they tried to do too much on this website, you could just have the website where you allow people to shop and then they could just call in, I mean, they tried to do too much and I think part of it was because it was a central thing they did, they tried to do too much,” he said. White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer, who appeared on “This Week,” defended the president. “If the president didn’t intend to keep this promise, why would he have gone out of his way to put a provision in the law that specifically says that if you have a plan before Obamacare passed, you can keep that plan,” he asked. Jones also took the Republicans to task for what he described as hypocritical behavior. “It is amazing to me now to see the Republican party now become the party of Ralph Nader. They’re the biggest consumer protection operation in the world now but 6 months ago, we had people who were getting these same cancellation notices and the Republican party was silent,” Jones said. Ain’t Isht Racists: NV Tea Party Republican – “Yeah, I Would Vote To Bring Back Slavery” [Video]

NV Tea Party Republican – “Yeah, I Would Vote To Bring Back Slavery” These GOP folks just DAF and are saying anything these days. According to Raw Story: A Republican Nevada state assemblyman said that he would vote for legislation in favor of slavery if his constituents wanted him to. According to the Las Vegas Sun, Jim Wheeler of Gardnerville, NV was speaking to the Storey County Republican Party when he made the remarks last August, although they are only now coming to light. “If that’s what they wanted, I’d have to hold my nose, I’d have to bite my tongue and they’d probably have to hold a gun to my head, but yeah, if that’s what the citizens of the, if that’s what the constituency wants that elected me, that’s what they elected me for,” he said. “That’s what a republic is about.” Now, Wheeler said to the Sun, “liberal operatives” are spreading the video in an effort to smear him. The assemblyman was referring to a blog post by a conservative commentator named Chuck Muth, who asked during Wheeler’s candidacy, “(W)hat if those citizens decided they want to, say, bring back slavery? Hey, if that’s what the citizens want, right Jim?” Wheeler told the audience of Republicans, “yeah I would.” The remarks have kicked off a firestorm with Republicans and Democrats alike rushing to denounce Wheeler, who rode the 2010 wave of tea party fervor into his spot on the state assembly. The Associated Press quoted a statement by Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval that said, in part, “Assemblyman Wheeler’s comments are deeply offensive and have no place in our society. He should retract his remarks and apologize.” SMH. “No Filter.” Check out the video below: Continue reading

Humpback Hov Releases Statement Clapping Back At Claims That He’s Choosing Paper Over Politics In Barneys Racial Profiling Scandal!

Shawn Carter finally steps down from The Throne to address the matter at hand Jay Z Releases Statement About Barneys Racial Profiling Scandal Ever since the news broke that Barneys had been accused of racial profiling, Jay Z has found himself in the hot seat as people began to question his motives when he did not immediately renounce his collaborative charity project with the high-end retailer. This evening, Jay released a statement defending his silence against those who implied he lacked empathy for the 2 young , black, victims . Via LifeAndTimes This collaboration lives in a place of giving and is about the Foundation. I am not making a dime from this collection; I do not stand to make millions, as falsely reported. I need to make that fact crystal clear. The Shawn Carter Foundation is the beneficiary and the foundation is receiving 25% of all sales from the collaboration, 10% of all sales generated in the store on November 20th and an additional donation from Barneys. This money is going to help individuals facing socio-economic hardships to help further their education at institutions of higher learning. My idea was born out of creativity and charity… not profit. I move and speak based on facts and not emotion. I haven’t made any comments because I am waiting on facts and the outcome of a meeting between community leaders and Barneys. Why am I being demonized, denounced and thrown on the cover of a newspaper for not speaking immediately? The negligent, erroneous reports and attacks on my character, intentions, and the spirit of this collaboration have forced me into a statement I didn’t want to make without the full facts. Making a decision prematurely to pull out of this project, wouldn’t hurt Barneys or Shawn Carter, but all the people that stand a chance at higher education. I have been working with my team ever since the situation was brought to my attention to get to the bottom of these incidents and at the same time find a solution that doesn’t harm all those that stand to benefit from this collaboration. I am against discrimination of any kind, but if I make snap judgements, no matter who it’s towards, aren’t I committing the same sin as someone who profiles? I am no stranger to being profiled and I truly empathize with anyone that has been put in that position. Hopefully this brings forth a dialogue to effect real change. – Shawn “JAY Z” Carter What do you think of Shawn’s statement? Do you still think he should pull out of his deal with Barneys, or is he right to wait for the facts to emerge?

You Can’t Sit With Us: Did The Obama’s Stop Fawking With Oprah Winfrey After She Refused To Stump For Obamacare???

Do tell… Rift In Oprah And Obamas’ Relationship Caused By Lack Participation In Obamacare Campaign Via NYPost As the White House was gearing up to sell ObamaCare to the American people last summer, Valerie Jarrett, the president’s pointwoman on a host of issues, phoned Oprah Winfrey. She invited the Queen of All Media to join celebrities, including Amy Poehler, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys, to meet with President Obama and discuss how they could generate publicity for his health-care law. Oprah refused. “All of Oprah’s top people thought she would go, because when the president invites you to the White House, most people automatically say yes,” said one of Oprah’s closest advisers. “But Oprah said she didn’t have the time or inclination to go. It wasn’t like she had to think it over. It was an immediate, flat-out, unequivocal no.” Instead, Oprah sent a low-level rep from one of her talent agencies, which was regarded as a insult. Obama had been counting on Oprah’s immense persuasive powers to help enroll millions in ObamaCare. But as the rollout turned into a disaster, Oprah didn’t lift a finger to help. Why wouldn’t HARPO want to cape up for Barry-O’s big plan??? Everyone remembers that Oprah went all out for Obama during the 2008 presidential election. What was not reported was that, in return, Oprah was promised unique access to the White House if Obama won. She’d get regular briefings on initiatives and a heads-up on programs to give her material for her fledgling cable network, OWN. “Oprah intended to make her unique White House access a part of her new network,” a source close to Oprah told me. “There were big plans, and a team was put together to come up with proposals that would have been mutually beneficial. “But none of that ever happened. Oprah sent notes and a rep to talk to Valerie Jarrett, but nothing came of it. It slowly dawned on Oprah that the Obamas had absolutely no intention of keeping their word and bringing her into their confidence.” Oprah did not campaign for Obama in the 2012 race, and she has been absent from his battles on gun control, immigration reform and the environment. She claims she is too busy to get involved in politics, even though she hosted a fund-raiser for Newark Mayor Cory Booker, who won a US Senate seat last week. As ridiculous as that might sound, there could be something even deeper that helped widen the rift between the power trio During Obama’s first term, I argued in my book “The Amateur” that Michelle was jealous of Oprah, furious that he was seeking her advice. “For her part, Oprah doesn’t like being with Michelle, because the first lady is constantly one-upping the president and anybody else around her,” said an Oprah adviser. “Oprah has struck back by banning the Obamas from her O, The Oprah Magazine . . . It probably hurts Oprah more than Obama, who, if he had his head screwed on straight, would have flown to California and begged Oprah to help him save ObamaCare. “But Obama hasn’t budged, and neither has Oprah. She’s hurt and angry, and I seriously doubt that Oprah will ever make up with the Obamas. She knows how to hold a grudge.” Isht get SUPER petty at the top of the power food chain, but not for nothin’ Oprah needs to bend her big a$$ over and kiss the ring. She can have all the money she wants, but this is the leader of the free world we’re talkin’ about! Image via Splash Continue reading
