Joanna and Chip Gaines: It’s Over!*

* Professionally, that is. With Chip Gaines having just released a new book, the HGTV star and his beloved wife have been sitting for a number of promotional interviews this week. Plenty has been revealed in these segments, but perhaps the most intriguing tidbit of all is Chip’s admission that he’d be open to a return to television. Under one condition, that is: Joanna isn’t invited! Asked by Daily Pop host Justin Sylvester whether he could envision himself starring on another series down the line, Chip said the following: “It would have to be a show where it would be me, just all by myself – that could be a thing that I would be interested in.” He may have been joking, but he may also just be interested in branching out a bit. Chip and Joanna shocked and saddened fans this month when they announced Fixer Upper was coming to an end after Season 5 . Asked about that decision in this interview, Joanna referenced her four children and stated: “Our kids are getting older for us and time seems to be slipping away faster, so I think we wanted to take a step back and get refreshed and focus on what’s next for us.” The stars are parents to Drake, 12; Ella, 11; Duke, 9 and Emmie Kay, 7. In addition to Fixer Upper, which is HGTV’s top-rated program, the twosome have quite an empire. There’s the home improvement business… their Magnolia Market store… their magazine, The Magnolia Journal … and retail collaborations, including a partnership with Target . There have also been rumors of relationship tension between Chip and Joanna because the Internet can’t help but speculate on the status of famous couples. And while Chip has shot down such chatter in the past, he actually gave it a “little credence” in speaking with The Today Show on Tuesday. “For us, the most important thing in the world is Jo and I’s relationship, followed very quickly by these four beautiful kids [of ours],” he said, adding: “We didn’t want to push it, to redline it for so long that we woke up and realized we are at a point of no return. “We wanted to take a step back and focus on what is absolutely the most important thing to us.” The Capital Gaines author continued: “People in our inner circle, I tell them we’re as healthy as we’ve ever been. I just didn’t want to keep pushing this envelope to the fullest extent. “We’re really thankful that we had the opportunity to step back and take a break.” Things certainly do sound fine and dandy between the parents of four. Consider Joanna’s caption to a new Instagram photo of herself, her husband and his book: This guy right here… I get to live life with him. I get to hear his thoughts and benefit from his wisdom and encouragement on a daily basis. The reason I am who I am today is because Chip pushed me to go for it. People think of him as a jokester, and he is. It’s a huge part of why I fell in love with him in the first place. But he is so much more than that. He is the ultimate cheerleader, coach and dream maker. I am so thrilled that his book releases today mostly because I believe it holds truth that the world is in desperate need of. Javi Marroquin Opens Up About Kailyn Lowry’s New Baby!

It’s been over a week now since Kailyn Lowry gave birth to her third child, and there’s still so much we don’t know about the whole situation! Like, we don’t even know the kid’s name. But, lucky for us, Kailyn is on a reality show — a reality show about being a mother, no less — so we’re not completely in the dark here. We know that she gave birth at 3:00 AM on August 5th, and that it was less than two hours from the time her water broke till the time her son was born. And thanks to some photos she was kind enough to share on social media, we know that the baby is just as precious as her other sons . We also know, thanks to a new interview with In Touch, that Kailyn’s ex-husband and the father of her second child, Javi Marroquin, is actually pretty cool with the whole thing. “Lincoln knows he has a new baby brother,” he explains . “Like all kids, they are excited to have a new sibling.” “I have to remember to say ‘brothers’ now instead of just Isaac.” Javi also says that “Whatever issues Kail and I had cannot impact Linc’s relationship with his new brother. So I do make him excited about it.” While we still don’t know how Kailyn’s third baby daddy, Chris Lopez, is going to do with this new baby , it’s nice to know that she chose amazing men to father her first two children, right? We should have known that even though Javi and Kailyn’s relationship has been extremely volatile since they filed for divorce, he’d put that all aside for the kids — even Baby Lo. After all, he still spends time with Isaac even though at this point he’s technically just his ex-stepfather. Oh, but back to the interview — remember the thing about how Javi could legally be considered the father of Kailyn’s baby ? As a lawyer explained it to In Touch, “Delaware law states that the ex-husband is presumed the father of a child if the child is born less than 300 days after the divorce.” We still don’t know the exact date that the divorce was finalized, but we do know it happened sometime in November or early December. Meaning that since the baby was born on August 5th … well, it sounds a little too close to call. However, Javi says “Everything should be taken care of on the legalities of the new baby, I’m pretty sure.” He doesn’t sound super confident, does he? But thanks to a recent interview from Kailyn, we do know that she was able to list Chris as the baby’s father on the birth certificate, so hopefully they really have worked everything out. Jacob Roloff: Little People, Big World is SO FAKE!

Jacob Roloff is not a huge fan of Little People, Big World. We know that because he’s made it ridiculously, astoundingly clear ever since he quit the show. Jacob dislikes his family’s show so much that after he quit, he also cut contact with his parents and his siblings for a long time. Thankfully, he’s mended his relationships with the rest of the Roloffs — he’s said as much, and we know it for sure thanks to his adorable presence at Molly’s wedding last weekend . But still, his hatred for the show remains. In some new excerpts from his very first book, Verbing, he explains some of the issues he has with Little People, Big World. In one section, he writes “The first few years of doing this show were pretty alright, just a few (dozen) extra people around the house and farm.” “The actual filming in that beginning period was subject to the events unfolding, that is, something happened then the cameras came running.” But then, “After the few first years of testing the waters, the whole process did a sort of flip where events became subject to the filming, that is, became more orchestrated than spontaneous, in a weird indistinguishable mix.” “That phase went on for a while, too, until turning into the dominantly orchestrated ordeal it is today.” This part isn’t really anything we haven’t heard before — we know his main issue with the show is that he believes it’s too staged. He feels so strongly about the issue that in a rant he made on Instagram last year, he even said that “The family that is filmed is not my family.” They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.” But in these new excerpts from Jacob’s book, he delves a little deeper into the issue. “Chief and simply, it forced me to grow up faster than normal (whatever a normal rate may be),” he writes. “Doing on the fly interviews and formal ones alike forced me to answer certain questions about myself, my family and my life that I normally might not have wondered about for some years.” Sounds pretty tough, right? Especially when you think about how young Jacob was when he was on the show. “One the one hand,” he explains, “I’m stuck in front of a lens, symbolizing the millions of people that watch(ed) our show, left to my own devices of coping and getting attention that usually panned out great for The Brass in L.A.” “On the other hand, instantly, it forced me to evolve mentally way faster than I would have, I think, under circumstances of less pressure.” So it sounds like he’s coming to terms with the whole thing — and thank goodness, right? Jenelle Evans: I’ll Never Do Heroin Again, Dude!

So hey, just for a fun little change of pace, why don’t we try to say some nice things about Jenelle Evans? Show her a little love for once. For example, she’s really pretty, isn’t she? She’s managed to keep the two children she has custody of alive and healthy for their entire lives. Oh, and here’s a big one: she used to do heroin a lot , but now she doesn’t, and that’s pretty impressive. See, isn’t positivity fun? And seriously, she really does deserve respect for how far she’s come from where she used to be. In her book, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom, she revealed that there was a period in time not too long ago when all she did was smoke weed and do heroin . This was, of course, during the infamous Kieffer years. One time, she said that she passed out and woke up later lying on the floor, and “I had no idea how long I was out or what I did during that time.” “It was scary, not knowing.” Yeah, we imagine. And in a new interview with Us Weekly, Jenelle is opening up even more about those dark times. To start, she recounts that scary heroin incident one more time, saying “I basically blacked out and woke up not remembering anything.” “I was appalled — I couldn’t believe that happened. I really was so close to dying.” After that, she called her mother, the long-suffering Barbara Evans, and asked her to come pick her up, which she did. “I quit cold turkey,” Jenelle claims. “I just went to my mom’s house and rode it out. I started to go through withdrawals for the first time.” “I didn’t know it would be like the worst flu I’ve ever had for seven days. First, you have insomnia, then you can’t eat, then you have panic attacks, then hot and cold sweats for a week, uncontrollable shaking and your joints hurt.” “You can die from trying to withdraw on your own,” she adds. “I luckily did it safely.” “But I said to myself, ‘I’m done. I can’t ever go through this again.'” And that, kids, is just a short list of reasons why you should never, ever do heroin. It’s also a little confusing, because she did heroin when she was with Courtland Rogers too, right? And she was with Courtland after she was with Kieffer, and she moved on to Nathan Griffith pretty fast after dumping Courtland. But we all know by now that Jenelle is a fan of rewriting history, so it’s hard to tell what the truth is here — let’s just let her have this one. Admirably, Jenelle also says that she wants to “bring attention to how severe the heroin epidemic is. It’s horrible. It is like a disease and needs to be treated like it.” She adds that she was originally “I was afraid to speak out and tell people that I was on drugs. People were accusing me of it, but I just thought, ‘Oh, they don’t know me. I have it figured out.'” “I was in denial.” Thankfully she stopped with denial, at least about the drugs, and she’s obviously doing much better now. But how about her relationship with poor Babs ? “I told her, ‘If you want to be in my life, you can give me back my son and we can start from there,'” she says. “I can’t stand that a mother would do this to her daughter. I lost all respect for her.” Where’s the eye-roll emoji when you need it, right? About all the rumors about Jenelle being pregnant with her fourth child , she says that she’s actually “planning to get my tubes tied as soon as I get the time.” She’s “75% sure” she’s going to get that done, “but I don’t want any more kids. Life of Kylie premieres in just over a week — August 6th is that close, you guys — and it won’t be until we actually see all 8 half-hour episodes that we can truly tell whether it’s a success or not. No matter what you think of Kylie Jenner herself, you have to be wondering what the show is going to be like and just how authentic — or otherwise — her portrayal is going to be. On social media, we see exactly what Kylie wants us to see — even if that includes her nipples . Well, thanks to a Calabasas local, we now have a little more information about Life of Kylie . According to Hollywoodlife ‘s source in Calabasas, Life of Kylie is all about Kylie Jenner as her own person rather than as part of the Kardashian clan. In a way, you’d think all of the splinter shows are about independent brands, right? Remember the short-lived Kocktails with Khloe ? That was more or less just about Khloe and her guests. But it has to be different for the youngest sibling. Especially when Kylie is the youngest of six . “Kylie does not want to blow her chance to truly separate herself from her famous family.” We’ll elaborate on that in a moment, but … Kylie’s issues as youngest daughter aside, that makes a lot of very sound business sense. “She sees her new show as her big opportunity to break away from her older sisters’ shadows.” Remember, Kylie was 9 when Keeping Up With The Kardashians started filming. This is her first time taking the reigns on her television image. “Kylie loves her entire family dearly but also wants to make her own mark and brand.” Don’t we all? (Unless you have family issues, but that’s totally your business) So the phrase “blow her chance” is sort of interesting, right? On the one hand, it could just mean that she’s unlikely to get a series greenlit again any time soon if this one tanks. (Honestly, we know Kylie Jenner’s net worth — she could hire a crew and producers herself if she really wanted to, but that’s another story) On the other hand, we all know that fame can be fleeting. Kylie has grown up famous and has to be very conscious of all of this. With the Kardashian family past its peak, she needs to ride this fame wave and use it to launch her career. Think of singers like Justin Timberlake who’ve left boy band acts to pursue solo careers to great success. Kylie needs to do something similar, stepping out of not just Kim Kardashian’s shadow, but her entire family’s. And speaking of her entire family … well, there’s more than one reason to separate your brand from them. Sometimes brands, even the ones that made you famous, can turn toxic. After Rob Kardashian’s revenge porn attack against Blac Chyna , it should be more clear than ever that the Kardashian brand isn’t what it used to be. With the Kardashians seeming to close ranks despite their anger, it’s possible that Rob’s antics could help tank their already waning brand. Some fans will be fans for life, sure. But a brand is only strong so long as its attracting new fans and, ideally, making more fans than it loses. Some of the family’s storylines are basically over. Kourtney and Scott … well, it seems unlikely that they’ll ever get back together. Khloe’s weight loss journey’s been over for ages. Kim is now a married mother of two, with a third baby on the way . Rob clearly has a host of issues, including rage, poor impulse control, and alleged domestic violence. Kendall is first and foremost a model — she mostly just does her own thing. Kris is unchanging and eternal, as always, but that’s not enough for the whole family. Honestly, Kylie is a lot more interesting than some of her family, anyway. She’s affectionate with her dogs, she keeps up with social media. She’s also become a makeup mogul as a teenager, which is kind of bonkers . Kylie isn’t necessarily wise when it comes to her love life, but people follow her for her , not for her no-name boyfriends who only gain recognition after dating her. She doesn’t seem to want to have her own career in the sense that Kendall does, where Kendall has a job where her name helps her but she’s doing the same things that her fellow models are doing. Kylie wants to be a titan of industry — both makeup and reality — on her own. Almost as a rival to her siblings. And you know what? That little upstart might be able to pull it off. Jenelle Evans: STILL Not Inviting Her Poor Mother to Her Wedding!

That Jenelle Evans sure is a piece of work, isn’t she? Sure, she’s come a long way — we’re like 99% sure she’s not doing heroin anymore, and that’s a big achievement — but girl’s still got some issues. One of those issues, maybe even the biggest one, is the way she seems completely incapable of seeing the reality of any given situation. For example, you know that whole thing where she’s been on a reality show for years now, which means that there is video evidence of so many things that have happened to her? Even despite that, she still tried to rewrite history in her new book, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom. In one section of the book, she writes that when her oldest child, Jace, was an infant, her mother, Barbara Evans “convinced me to go out with my friends so I could relax.” She says she “should have been suspicious,” but she “took the bait” anyway, and then stayed out all night with her pals. The next morning, Jenelle claims that Child Protective Services was waiting for her at her home, and her mother had lied and told them that she went out partying every night. And that’s why Babs got custody of Jace, because she set Jenelle up. Never mind that on the show, we did see her go out partying night after night, we saw her leaving her baby at home and acting like it wasn’t a big deal. And we even saw her sitting down with a lawyer to sign custody over to her mother, and it wasn’t at all an ambush like she described it. Now that we’re all refreshed with how delusional Jenelle can be, let’s move on to the news of the day: this new, heartbreaking interview poor Barbara just did with People. In the interview, good ol’ Babs talks about her daughter’s upcoming wedding — Jenelle’s marrying David Eason in September out on their swamp. “She’s been saying she’s having her wedding , running around with her family of friends, but you know what she says?” Barbara asks. “‘My mother Barbara is not invited.’ She’s not inviting me to her own wedding. It’s very painful .” She also says that Jenelle isn’t inviting her older brother and sister, either. “I’m just hurt with Jenelle,” she continues. “She just excludes us out of her life. Jenelle is Jenelle. She’s all about Jenelle.” She adds that the last time she spoke to her was three weeks ago: they had a conversation about Jace’s birthday party next month. It’s just sad, isn’t it? Barbara has given up so much of herself to raise Jenelle’s son while she’s gone out to smoke weed, do heroin, pop pills, and pop out two more kids. You’d think she’d be a little bit grateful, but nope. Instead, Jenelle gives interviews about how she’s “lost all respect” for her mother because she won’t just drop Jace off at her house and move on. “I told her,” Jenelle has said, “if you want to be back in my life in any way, you can give me back my son and we can start from there.” Except Jace will be 8 years old next month, and Jenelle’s only started turning her life around recently. Also, there are lawyers and judges involved at this point — it’s not like Barbara is some evil witch who kidnapped Jace and is holding him in a tower somewhere. In reality, she’s been the only parent Jace has ever known. But, like we said, Jenelle has a hard time with reality. That’s why she’s not inviting her own mother to her wedding, and a good part of why she’s possibly the worst Teen Mom of them all. As you know, Amanda made claims that she hooked up with a “good looking black” rapper with a popular song getting blasted in all the clubs, years before he married a woman with a “similar body type” to her own. Mind you, the 49-year-old transgender icon is a very voluptuous and curvy woman… Now, Radar has revealed more details about Amanda’s rapper tryst through an exclusive excerpt from her upcoming book, Doll Parts . Apparently, Amanda wasn’t even sure who the rapper in question was before dropping to her knees for him in a San Fransico gym, but she knew it was someone she was supposed to know: On page 179 of her book, the trans star recalls she was on the treadmill when a “good-looking black guy walked in.” “I didn’t get a good look, but he seemed familiar and I could tell he was looking at me. I assumed he’d seen me on The Insider, but I was focusing on getting to four hundred calories, so I didn’t pay him much attention. He came up to me and said hi, and I said hi back, then he started trying to talk me up, and asked if I wanted to go up to his room. I said, ‘Well I have to burn these 400 calories before I get off,’ and kept on climbing.” Amanda says he wasn’t giving up that easily, and even offered to get rid of the other woman he had waiting for him upstairs just to have a chance to get closer to her … ‘I got a girl up in my room but I can get rid of her if you want to come up.’ It occurred to me that if this guy was so confident, he might have a really big d**k, which was exactly what I needed to move on from the ex-boyfriend. So I told him to hold on a minute. I finished my workout, then I walked into the gym’s cleaning room, and he followed me in. I took out his c**k and got on my knees. We’ve also heard speculation that the rapper in question could be Ice T, or even Wiz Khalifa. Amanda mentions that the rapper in question may have recognized her from her appearance on The Insider — which she appeared on back in 2006 . Khloe Kardashian: Terrified of Lamar Odom’s Upcoming Tell-All?!

Remember the good old days of Khlomar? Sure, things ended terribly for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, and yes, it turned out that things were never actually that great for them, either. Khloe has said that she managed to keep a lot of Lamar’s issues private for longer than we know, and they’ve both been open about how he cheated on her. But still, there was a lot of love between them, and when things were good, they were so good, you know? And that’s why it’s a little surprising that Khloe is reportedly freaking out about the possibility of Lamar writing a tell-all. To back up a little, yes, Lamar has confirmed that he’s working on a book. He told Hollywood Life that the book would be an “autobiography of my life,” and that he’s “looking forward to that.” When asked exactly what would be included in his story, he said “Everything! Everything! Just everything!” “Open about everything, everything that has been going on in my life! About the facts!”  He sure seems excited about it, right? And goodness knows he has plenty of material. He could write about his basketball career — several ups and downs there — and his troubled childhood. He could write about his 2015 overdose, how he very nearly died in a brothel . We imagine that information could sell some copies. He could also write about the Kardashians. And that seems to be an issue. According to a source, Khloe’s entire family is “very concerned about this tell-all book,” and they have “reached out to ask him to be respectful.” “Lamar has spoken recklessly about her family in the past,” the source says, so “Khloe fears what major secrets he could reveal.” “While Khloe and the rest of the Kardashians try to live a good life, they are no saints.” … Is that supposed to be a shocker? “Like any family,” the source continues, “they have skeletons in their closet which could seriously hurt their brand if revealed.” Their “brand” was started with a sex tape Kim Kardashian made with Ray J . How much lower could they go? Maybe Lamar knows that he’s usually a pretty sympathetic figure, and he has dirt on Khloe he could twist to his advantage. Or maybe since he used to be so close with Rob Kardashian, he knows some things about him that the family wouldn’t really want to be made public. It’s hard to say exactly what they’re afraid of. It’s also hard to say whether or not Lamar will take it easy on them. For the most part, he’s been nothing but respectful about the entire family — but he’s also been very honest about how upset he’s been about losing Khloe . One thing’s for sure: we’ll be eagerly awaiting the release of any and all book Lamar releases from now until the end of time. Steve Bannon: Sean Spicer Is Too Fat For Press Briefings

Steve Bannon is not the kind of guy you expect to engage in body-shaming. For starters, he looks like if someone put a suit and tie on Keith Richards’ liver and taught it words like “globalist” and “cuck.” On top of that, he’s a 63-year-old White House strategist, not a 15-year-old Taylor Swift fan trolling Katy Perry on Instagram. But body-shaming is just what President Bannon is being accused of today after comments he made regarding Sean Spicer’s reduced role behind the White House press room podium. Asked why more press briefings are taking place off-camera, Bannon didn’t give the obvious reply (“Have you seen those trainwrecks?!”), but instead delivered a one-liner that went over about as well as the first Trump Care proposal. “Sean got fatter,” Bannon reportedly told a reporter. The comment caught the attention of many social media users, including Chelsea Clinton, who called Bannon out for what she considers fat-shaming: “The White House using fat shaming to justify increased opacity. 2017,” Clinton tweeted. When several of Clinton’s followers pointed out that Bannon appeared to be joking, Clinton amended her statement slightly: “Oh ok. So using fat shaming to avoid answering questions about increasing opacity. Got it. 2017,” the former first daughter tweeted. Few White House press secretaries have received as much attention as Spicer, and that’s not by design. Spicer’s obvious ineptitude has made him a frequent target for ridicule and even inspired a series of memorable SNL sketches in which Spicer is played by Melissa McCarthy . Judging from the reaction to his joke today, Bannon should probably leave the humor to her. There have long been rumblings that President Trump would like to replace Spicer with Deputy White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders. Reducing the amount of time Spicy spends on camera is seen by many as the first step toward replacing him with Huckabee-Sanders, so it’s not hard to see why Bannon would be keen to laugh off questions from reporters.
