Maci Bookout to Weight Critics: Eat It, Fatties!

Teen Mom star Maci Bookout is hitting back at her weight critics, saying that she’ll start eating more burgers when other people start giving them up. Maci has long been critiqued because of her slim figure, but snapped on Twitter last week when people started to imply she has an eating disorder. “From now on everytime someone tells me i need to eat a cheeseburger I’m gonna say well give me every one u eat then we’ll both look better,” she tweeted. Burn. Of course, haters being haters, they kept piling it on: “@MaciBookoutMTV you need a soul is what you really need,” one fan replied to Maci’s tweet. Maci’s response: “If others are jealous, you’re doing something right. #Truth” And at least she’s not Jenelle Evans or Farrah Abraham . #Preach.

Maci Bookout: Engaged to Kyle King?

According to OK! Magazine, Maci Bookout will finally get her “happily ever after” moment when she weds her beau, Kyle King, on Teen Mom this season. Which is interesting, since we hadn’t even heard she was engaged to King, who she began dating after her split with Ryan Edwards, her son’s father. Knowing OK!, it’s probably a highly misleading cover story . There is no mention of a specific wedding or even of an engagement, just quotes like this: “Maci says that although she’s young and doesn’t know what she wants to do with the rest of her life, she knows for sure that she loves Kyle,” a friend says. “She loves being around him and he makes her very happy.” A source says Maci Bookout ’s wedding dreams are “down-to-earth and achievable,” whatever that means, and will be a simple, fun and family-oriented. Again, light on the details. But here are two things we do know: Engaged or not, she and Kyle King are definitely still together. Things are going much better for Maci than Amber Portwood . Teen Mom Maci Bookout isn’t letting recent controversy over her underage drinking pics get her down, insisting she’s “grown up” a lot since then. Photos of Maci hitting the beer bong hit the web last week, thanks to the sleuths at TMZ … who caught up with Bookout last night in NYC. No hard feelings toward the site, though. Maci cheerfully explained, “I was on vacation, Bentley wasn’t with me and I was having a beer.” “It’s obviously something I don’t do anymore because I’ve grown up since then.” Obviously. Move over, Maci Bookout . Step aside, Catelynn Lowell. Time to make room, Farrah Abraham. Cool your jets, Amber Portwood. Please don’t hurt us. MTV will premiere Teen Mom 2, a sequel to the smash hit reality show, on Tuesday, January 11. Get ready for so much more baby-raising drama. “Teen Mom 2 is shooting right now,” the show’s executive producer, Morgan J. Freeman, told USA Today , confirming the sequel’s debut on MTV. The Teen Mom cast became pseudo-celebrities after their trials and tribulations aired this year. Dr. Drew has nothing to do with this, he’s just in the photo . Who are the new girls? Although the cast list hasn’t yet been revealed, the featured young women were selected from the current cast of 16 and Pregnant . As for original cast members Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood , running it back for a new season, Freeman wasn’t sure. “We’re doing some continuous-type shooting with the original [cast] but nothing’s been announced yet about what we’ll do with that,” the producer said.
