For a family that gained fame from sex tapes and reality shows, the Kardashians have a lot of secrets. It’s a testament to Kris Jenner’s prowess as a media puppet master that the family has been able to keep anything private, especially in cases where the truth is right under our nose. Or more accurately, on top of Kim’s nose. Yes, for years, there have questions about how much plastic surgery Kim has undergone. While she’s copped to the occasional fillers and “maintenance” work, the 38-year-old has mostly avoided questions about major procedures. Her silence on the subject is just one of the reasons that everyone assumed Kim got a nose job . The other reason is that Kim very obviously got a nose job. But remarkably, this week, Kim finally opened up on the subject of her nose, and — we can’t believe we’re about to type these words — she claims it’s never been touched by a surgeon. “I never had my nose done,” she explained during a Master Class event with makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic. “Everyone thought I did, and I said wait until I have kids because your real features come out.” Kim attributes the change in her appearance to masterful contouring. “Pictures, I swear, I look at them and would be like, ‘Wow the bump looks so much bigger in some pictures than in others,'” she said. “I always want to get my nose done,” she confessed. “I went to the doctor, I had them take the pictures, he showed me what it would look like and it just didn’t … I wouldn’t look the same.” We suppose it’s possible that she’s telling the truth, but this is a bit like finding out that the moon landing was fake or O.J. is actually innocent. Kim has spoken extensively about her nose over the years, but she’s always been evasive on the question of whether or not she went under the knife. “Hated it,” she told Wonderland magazine, in 1996. “Now I love that it makes me look more ethnic.” She conceded that her schnoz “looks smaller” than it used to, but suggested that “maybe it’s the contour I use.” Yeah … that could be.
