KeKe Wyatt’s “Don’t Be Scared” Podcast Interview KeKe Wyatt stopped by the “Don’t Be Scared” studio to dish on being a mom of 8, her new music and the possibility of her returning to reality TV. While there the former “R&B Diva” also told David, Danni and Jah these tidbits: On people calling her 8th baby shower tacky: I didn’t need no baby shower to get stuff, I don’t need anybody’s gifts, I don’t need any of that but they were very nice gifts. I believe that every child is precious […] if she had one, and he had one, and he had one, why can’t Bella Boo Kitty? Their mama’s tacky if they think I’m tacky. On plastic surgery rumors: My mother’s white and my father is Indian and black. I got this pointy nose with a butt crack in the middle of it, why would I pay for a butt hole in the middle of my nose? Why the hell would I pay for that? […] These titties is mine, this monkey’ mine, this butt is mine. I swear may God strike me dead down in this chair. I hate when people do that [accuse me of surgery] it pisses me off. On the natural dimples in her (surgery free) cakes: Why would I pay to get dimples in my booty? Look, how many can you see? [stands up to show hosts] On possibly doing a “KeKe Wyatt Plus 8” type show reality show: We be flirting [with that idea] Listen to KeKe Wyatt on “Don’t Be Scared” above! @KeKeWyattSings @BossipDBS @DavidDTSS @DanniCanada @HipHopObama Continue reading →
Dee-1’s “Don’t Be Scared” Interview Fresh off an interview with Slim Jesus , David, Danni and Janne chatted with New Orleans rapper Dee-1 about his celibacy, his Lil Wayne mixtape getting banned and his battle with depression. On his vow of celibacy till marriage: I’m living the pure life right now. Ain’t no sex, ain’t no self pleasure. I’m so open and transparent at this point in my life. I haven’t always been this way but at this point […] Ultimately I’m a very god fearing man, I don’t think if I try to do it the right way and honor God by not having sex before marriage I don’t think he’ll allow it to be bad. On his “Separated At Birth”mixtape being stalled by Young Money: I just went through some craziness with the whole YMCMB thing. I was gonna do a mixtape called “Separated At Birth” based on me and Lil Wayne; it got banned. The night before my mixtape was gonna come out my record label called me from New York frantically like; ‘You can’t put the mixtape out!’ They were like ‘Nah there’s potential that lawsuits might fall upon us, your physical safety might be at risk.’ All I was doing was taking Lil Wayne concepts and flipping them and doing a 180 on them to make them more conscious alternatives to his subject matter. Some of the songs are very direct though, one song in particular called “Call Your Bluff” might seem like I’m calling Lil Wayne out and I kind of was. On depression: “I realized that me doing it on my own and trying to talk to friends, that train has kind of run its course. It’s time for me to talk to people who do this for a living. A lot of this revolved around this time last year, I was out here for the BET Hip-Hop Awards and I just remember you’re supposed to smile on the red carpet, smile for interviews, I was on the cypher last year—meanwhile I”m just hurt on the inside. That’s an interesting dynamic to have to live through, it’s tough. Timbaland Ignores Divorce Filing, May Pay Millions By Default Timbaland’s estranged wife Monique Mosley may be done with their marriage of 7 years…but the music mogul certainly doesn’t seem interested in breaking things off just yet. Even though docs were officially filed against him earlier this year, Timb has decided to completely blow off the entire divorce proceeding in court. Now, a fed-up Monique has headed back to court demanding to be awarded the divorce she asked for — with or without his official legal response. If you’ll recall, Monique slapped Timbaland (Timothy Mosley) with divorce papers back in October 2013 after a 15 year relationship — five of which were spent as husband and wife. But nearly a year later, Monique quietly dismissed her petition for divorce , and it appeared that the couple had reconciled. Apparently their reconciliation didn’t last for long. Monique served Timbaland with a fresh set of divorce papers on July 28th 2015. Florida law states that the defendant has 30 days to respond to the divorce filing, however as of September 2nd, Timbaland had yet to file any response in the divorce at all. Monique headed back to court on September 3rd to ask the court to grant her a default divorce and award her all the support she requested in her original petition. Monique’s original filing asked that the music mogul cough up a sizable child support payment — not only for the eight-year-old daughter the two share together, but also for her thirteen-year-old child from a previous relationship. According to Monique’s logic, Timbaland should be held financially responsible for both children since he had publicly and privately claimed the older as his own as well. She also demanded compensation in the form of alimony — in permanent payments in addition to a lump sum paid out during divorce proceedings. In addition, Monique requested life insurance, private school costs, vacations, summer camp and other expenses. She also pleaded with the court to award her repayment of attorney fees as well, claiming she was personally so broke she had to borrow money from a friend to hire a divorce lawyer. The judge has yet to make a ruling on her motion for default against the music mogul. Time will tell if Timbaland’s silence will cost him many years of fat checks in the future…
Is Mimi Faust Moving To L.A. With Stevie J??? Mimi Faust recently stopped by Bossip’s “Don’t Be Scared” podcast to dish on the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” finale that included a bizarre offer from her baby’s father Stevie J. On the show Stevie packed his bags for Los Angeles leaving behind his wife Joseline Hernandez who performed at an event that ended with flower to face action for her “friend” Karlie Redd. Before leaving Joseline and hopping on a plane however, Stevie asked Mimi to join him on the West Coast for the betterment of their (adorable) daughter Eva Giselle which led to the face below. Sooooo, is Mimi actually considering Stevie’s offer for some “platonic” parenting in Cali??? Hit the flip.
Sanaa Lathan And Michael Ealy Talk “The Perfect Guy” Movie Sanaa Lathan and Michael Ealy were recently in Atlanta promoting their upcoming film “The Perfect Guy.” The duo took to the city’s Time Lounge where they met with bloggers and photographers to dish on their movie that follows the romance between Leah (Sanaa) and Carter (Michael Ealy) that turns sour after Carter turns out to be a crazed stalker and sociopath. BOSSIP was on hand for the event and chatted with the stars about real life stalkers and on set fun between Sanaa, Michael and their costar Morris Chestnut. Sanaa Lathan on behind the scenes fun: One day I get to work with Michael, the next day I get to work with Morris. They kept me laughing. A lot of my girlfriends never want to visit on set but this was one of the times when they would say, ‘oh hey, can I come to work with you?!’ Michael Ealy on playing “the bad guy”: I like to think of Carter as more than a stalker. I feel like for me as an actor it’s always good to diversify your body of work, I don’t want to play a good guy for the rest of my life. I’ve been dying to play a bad guy. It was just about finding that right part. They were a couple times she [Sanaa] was really scared. On “Fatal Attraction” inspiring the film: That was one of our inspirations, it’s one of those classic suspense, sexy thrillers that shocked the world when it came out and it did so well. The Perfect Guy hits theaters September 11. Hit the flip for more photos.
