The young men believed that they were solely there to take part in a roundtable discussion about life, school and career paths with Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) and Mrs. Obama’s brother and NBA coach Craig Robinson. Source: Julia Marie Burton / Bossip/Julia Marie Burton The energy in the room was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced being that WE knew at any minute during the conversation, Michelle Obama was going to burst into the room and leave us and the students with our eyes wide, picking our jaws off the floor. It was a glorious moment. Yes, she really said “you know how I do” in response to the idea that this was a “boys only” meeting. God, we love this woman. Mrs. Obama was in the “D” as part of the nationwide Live Nation tour for her best-selling book Becoming , but she wanted to take the opportunity to speak specifically to a group of minority men for the first time and give them encouragement and insight into being successful students, professionals, and people. FLOTUS went on to say that part of letting go of that fear and embracing discomfort, is not being ashamed of hardships and life struggles that you may have endured. “Put it on the table”, as she so eloquently states, “let folks deal with it.” Motown Records is a sponsor of the Fall 2018 Becoming: An Intimate Conversation With Michelle Obama tour. Source: VH1 / VH1 Solo Lucci Says Alexis Skyy Has Dodged Giving Him A DNA Test As usual, some online DRAMA popped off after last night’s episode of Love & Hip Hop NY aired. This time, it all stemmed from Alexis Skyy’s back and forth with Fetty Wap , and his apparent refusal to acknowledge her baby girl Alaiyah as his own. During the episode, Alexis claimed that the main reason that Fetty was reluctant to claim his child is that her ex-boyfriend and fellow LHHH castmate Solo Lucci has been running around claiming the baby could be his. We had a chance to chat with Solo Lucci recently and asked him directly if he believed he is the f ather of baby Alaiyah . Here’s what he exclusively told us about it. Are you Alexis Skyy’s real baby father? Don’t nobody know but her and God. I’ve reached out to her multiple times about taking a test, but she was so adamant to me that it wasn’t mine. She told me over and over that it wasn’t. At this point, I figure she knows. It’s her body. I don’t really know what’s happened since then, I‘ve been trying to get to the bottom of it. I think kids need their fathers, so I still do plan to take a DNA test. I tried to go take one, flew in, but when I got there she had left town for an appearance or something. So I’ll just have to try to find a time to go back and handle it. If Alaiya is indeed yours, do you plan to help take care of her? Absolutely! If she’s mine I’ll definitely step up and be a father. Bravo Bossip exclusive… Shamari DeVoe Talks Joining “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” There’s a “New Edition”(pun intended) to the RHOA cast that people can’t wait to meet. This Sunday Shamari DeVoe will make her debut on “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” as an official peach holder. The songstress, mother, and wife to the legendary Ronnie DeVoe already made a splash in season 11 previews—but who is she, exactly? Bossip recently caught up with the newbie who told us all about joining Andy Cohen’s raucous reality TV crew while being a mom and a “marriage ambassador” with her hubby. She also noted that Ronnie was initially none too pleased to hear she might be picking up a peach—but did she change his mind? Prince Williams/ATLPics.Net Meet Shamari DeVoe below. What attracted you to joining RHOA? I wanted people to hear my story. The world knew me as a member of multiplatinum group Blaque and from the movie “Bring It On” as an actress but I really wanted people to know me as Shamari DeVoe. Did you have any hangups about joining the cast? I just wanted to make sure it truly represented my family and who we are as parents, artists and “marriage ambassadors.” What does it mean to be a “marriage ambassador”? Me and my husband have been together 17 years, we’ve been married for 12 years. We’ve been through so many challenges and we were able to overcome those challenges. We are marriage ambassadors and it’s our mission to help other couples work through their challenges so they can have lifelong healthy relationships. We get couples together and encourage and inspire one another and we help people that are going through challenges and we encourage them to work it out. It’s all about saving families and bettering our community. Families make up our community so as long as the families stay together, our community is a better place. As a marriage ambassador, what advice would you give to the other RHOA couples? No matter what you’re going through, you have to stick it out, you have to communicate, you have to listen to each other. There is a blessing even in the impossible because anything is possible when you trust and you have faith and that’s very important in relationships. What was your husband’s initial reaction when you told him that you wanted to join the RHOA cast? He’s very protective so at first, he was like, ‘Oh hell nah!!!!’ Then the more that we talked about it, we realized that this is a great platform for us to share our testimony. How do you balance being a wife and mother with RHOA? I am a superwoman! I have a great support system, it consists of my husband, my family, and my friends. Even though I ‘m a superwoman every superwoman needs help. We understand that you’ve known Kandi for a number of years, what other housewives are you close with? I think all the housewives are great and we’re getting to know each other more. I’m still closest with Kandi, I just have such a great history with her. She’s worked with my group and we come from the same musical background from the 90s and [from] her doing the “808 Remix” for Blaque. I feel really close to her. I’m getting to know everybody, everybody is really, really, cool. Is there a housewife, in particular, you’ve enjoyed getting to know? I really like NeNe, she keeps me laughing—she’s so funny! And [I like] Eva because we have the same connection, we’re both new mothers, we have that in common. Are you working on any new music? Yes, I have some new music that I’m working on with Blaque. We have a surprise coming up so stay tuned. Also, my husband and I have a singing group called ‘Me and Mari’, we’ve been working on new music for a few years now. We’re finally ready to release our single called “Love Comes Through.” What do you want RHOA fans to learn about Shamari DeVoe? Jesus Take The Controller: Tennessee Man Shoots Into Neighbor’s House Following “Xbox Rage”

BROWN/AFP/Getty Images Man Goes On Shooting Rampage Because Of “Xbox Rage” One 30-year-old man is facing felony charges after flying into a rage while playing a video game, firing more than a dozen rounds from two different handguns into the ceiling and walls of his bedroom of his Tennessee home, according to court records. One of the bullets struck a house directly across the street from him, where a family of three was at home, the arrest warrants state. Authorities later found the round lodged behind a window shutter and luckily, no one inside the house was injured. Casey L. Jones is being charged with four counts of reckless endangerment involving a deadly weapon following the incident. A woman in the home with Jones told Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies they never had any trouble before Jones erupted. “She stated that no argument had taken place, but the arrestee was playing Xbox when he suddenly had a breaking point and began screaming at the game,” the arrest warrant states. “He smashed the gaming console with his fist, causing him to act out in more rage. “The victim then told officers (Jones) went upstairs to the bedroom and began firing rounds through the ceiling and walls, but never pointed the firearm at her. The arrestee made threats of harming himself and has a history of making those same threats, according to the victim.” Jones later admitted to authorities he had picked up a Springfield XDS handgun from his nightstand and fired several rounds into the ceiling. Then he grabbed a Springfield XDM and fired another volley of gunfire through the walls. One of those rounds went through a bedroom window and ended up striking the neighbors’ house. Authorities recovered 16 shell casings from the bedroom and both handguns were subsequently confiscated. There is no information on what game Jones was actually playing before he lost control of himself. Casey L. Jones has no previous criminal history in Knox County and has been released on $8,000 bond. He is set for arraignment on November 14.

The family was spotted at Stashed sneaker store in San Francisco. Yeezy stopped by to chop it up with Stashed owner and old pal Steve Stoute. Witnesses say North was super impressed by the flagship store, so much so, she tried on a few pairs of sneakers herself. North pulled some brand new women’s Air Force Ones to try on, even though they did not come on her size. Yeezy couldn’t resist letting her try on the too-big sneakers and snapping a photo. Too cute! Photo by Alex Gonzalez Northy Poo and her papas visit to San Fran happened on Thursday, a day before their California home was seemingly in crisis due to wildfires spreading across Malibu and Calabasas. Yesterday, Kim Kardashian posted up an update to folks on twitter saying, “Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe.”  So far their Hidden Hills residence is safe from the fires. Too cute!

Getty Images and Instagram Laura Helm Said She Contracted Herpes From Usher Following Two Intimate Encounters The woman who is suing  Usher for knowingly gave her the herpes virus has pleaded with a judge not to OK the singer’s motion to seal evidence in the case. Laura Helm said Usher’s belief that he needs an all-encompassing gag order because he’s such a big star that revelations about his sex life, partners and health coming to light could ruin his rep, are full of hot air. Helm said she has already had to endure embarrassment and humiliation from her herpes diagnosis and from having to publicly accuse Usher over it. “Unfortunately, trials are public and often the contents of a trial are embarrassing, but just because the Defendant is a celebrity does not entitle to him to private confidential trials while the rest of society must display their most embarrassing damages publicly, like the Plaintiff had to do to bring this action for the embarrassing damages caused by the Defendant,” Helm wrote in court docs obtained by BOSSIP. Helm said Usher’s legal bid to put a gag order on her herpes transmission case against him not only violates her and the media’s first amendment rights but the courts legal right to a public record. “It is ironic the Defendant, whose lawyer in this matter makes public statements, now asks this Court to gag the Plaintiff. The Defendant, with his power, money and popularity, requests this Court to silence his victims in the time of #metoo.” The alleged victim is adamant that evidence including both of their “content of medical reports or billing records regarding STDs and herpes or third-party claims for the same” be made public once the case heads to trial. A judge has not yet ruled on Usher’s gag order motion.
