Jersey Shore Cast: On Strike!

The Jersey Shore cast is so upset with its contracts that most or all of the guidos may refuse to fist-pump for a third season until they get paid more by MTV. They were supposed to begin shooting “at home” scenes today for season three, but J-Woww, Ronnie, Sammi, Pauly D and Vinny apparently said no way . The status of The Situation and Snooki is unclear. The bottom line is that the cast feels it can make more money doing appearances than filming the show. The gang feels that its current deal, for $10K/episode, was only supposed to cover Season 2 of Jersey Shore only, and wants to renegotiate for Season 3. How does MTV feel about all this? Live together, die alone … or something . Signals are conflicting. The producers of Jersey Shore think “the show is not about famous rich people with managers” at the shore and may cut the cord. 495 Productions would like to keep a few cast members – The Situation, Snooki and Pauly D – but they think that the strike by the cast is the last straw. Other reports suggest that in fact, The Situation is being tempted with a new contract that would pay him more than other stars – who are now pissed. The network brass is toying with replacing all or some of the original cast members with new blood, although this idea has its share of detractors, too. The problem for the network? Sources say MTV thinks they have “magic in a bottle” with this particular group and wants to keep the cast wholly intact. Would you watch Jersey Shore with a new cast?

Sign of the Apocalypse: Charice Undergoes Botox for Glee Role

Charice Pempengco is 18 years old. She’s already a successful singer, having received a major career boost from appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show . This fall, she’ll recur on season two of Glee . But Charice – who, it bears repeating, is 18 years old! – feels enough pressure from Hollywood to have undergone a skin-tightening procedure last week, along with Botox meant to make her face look rounder. Speaking in the third person, the singer told ABS-CBN television earlier this summer: “All people will be anticipating how will Charice look? Is she good enough to pit against Rachel Berry? So of course there is tremendous pressure.” For that reason, we don’t blame Charice for this depressing piece of news. We do wonder what advice her parents gave, but an 18-year old undergoing plastic surgery is more reflective of society than anything. When every other tabloid cover features Kim Kardashian in a bikini , bragging about her weight loss and figure, what message do you think it sends teenage girls? ** UPDATE: Charice’s rep confirms the procedure, but says it was “to relieve a jaw problem similar to TMJ.”

Katie Price’s new single, “Free to Love Again,” has been unleashed upon the world. It’s a record only Heidi Montag could love … or produce something worse than. Seriously, it’s as bad as you’d think, and the cover art is equally dreadful. Is that the result of Botox? Airbrushing? Too much makeup? We may never know. But we do know this for sure: If you listen here to her new song, you’ll LOL. FREE TO LOVE AGAIN : Katie Price is ready to love again … or something. Is her new single a reference to moving on from Peter Andre with Alex Reid ? Does anyone care?

Lady Gaga and Miley are always good for headlines. Justin Rego’s girlfriend is going to be outed on The Bachelorette. Kate Gosselin is returning to The View . With botched Botox . Miley Cyrus cannot be tamed, says she empowers women . Jerry Seinfeld thinks Lady Gaga is a jerk and he hates her. Jessie Lunderby Playboy pics caused a stir for the jailer. Peeps don’t know if Lindsay Lohan was drinking or not . If you date a Kardashian, do you win a professional sports title? The Dallas Cowboys’ Miles Austin may soon find out with Kim K., as Ty Lawson jealously Tweeted. Couples Watch: Miles Austin is dating Kim Kardashian; Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough are an item; Josh Koscheck may be dating Holly Madison. Kardashian Konfidential: Aktually Koming Soon!

The fact that Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian are koming out with an advice book is humorous enough on its own. But the ridiculousness gets even better, as the tome will be titled “Kardashian Konfidential.” Why is this so funny? Because the sisters haven’t kept anything confidential in years! Desperate for attention, they talk about babies, fashion, weight loss, Botox, big breasts and anything that will put money in their pockets to anyone that will listen. Adding to the hilarity, a source said the book will have “lots of pictures,” which is a given. Those are the only kinds of books these siblings read themselves. Kardashian Konfidential will be published this November by St. Martin’s Press. It’s unknown at the moment how much it will retail for, but we can say this with konfidence: Tack on a couple hundred dollars to whatever the book costs. That should kover the therapy sessions for anyone that actually pays money for advice from Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian.

Cameron Diaz’s Botox Face Press Tour of the Day

Cameron Diaz looks like she got a couple fresh shots of BOTOX for this bullshit press tour they are doing for their bullshit movie that I’ve heard way too much about already and shit only premiered last night. They are pushing it harder than Cameron Diaz pushes her face to smile, or Tom Cruise tries to push his heterosexuality…even though everyone sees past the lie and smells the fucking bullshit… The people behind the movie went so far as to invite press from around the world to do stunts from the movie like car chases and 180s in cars and jumping building to building with Tom and Cameron to make sure they feel like they had the experience of a lifetime so that this bullshit movie gets written about….There are posters, billboards..the whole thing screams that it’s a horrible waste of time….but people are going to see it….and the only thing I really like about it are her legs. Kim Kardashian Owns Up to Botox

The rumors have followed her around for years, but Kim Kardashian has always been in denial. No, we’re not referring to the belief that this professional celebrity has no actual talent. Kim still won’t own up to that. But did she come clean to ABC’s Nightline yesterday, confirming that she’s undergone Botox injections. Kim claims “that’s the only thing I’ve done,” denying talk that her nose is fake. “What’s funny about my nose, it’s my biggest insecurity,” she told reporter Cynthia McFadden. “I went to the doctor, I had them take the pictures, he showed me what it would look like and it just didn’t – I wouldn’t look the same.” As for those enormous boobs? Kim has maintained they’ve always been huge , and actually delivered a funny line when asked about her famous cleavage again: “Trust me honey, if I take this bra off you will tell me I need to get them done.” Kourtney has had hers done. She was on hand for the Nightline special and said: “I have had breast implants, but it’s so funny ’cause it’s not a secret, I could care less.” Of course, all of this begs the question: What the heck was Nightline doing interviewing the Kardashians?!? Have we officially run out of real news to focus on?
