As the Welterweight Championship inching closer, WBC Welterweight Champion Mayweather Golden Boy Mosley, both boxers are ready for the fight in MGM Grand in Las Vegas tonight 9:30 pm. Herds of fans have arrived. The weight in results showed Mosley with 147 lbs and Mayweather with a pound lighter, 146 lbs. Floyd has won all 40 of his boxing matchups, with Mosley right behind him with 46 wins and 5 losses. Boxing: Valero Committed Suicide

The venezuelan world lightweight boxing champion Edwin Valero committed suicide in his prison after being arrested for the murder of his wife. The 28-year-old boxer had confessed that he stabbed his wife Jennifer Carolina Viera de Valero inside a hotel in the city of Valencia on Sunday before he took his own life. It was confirmed by the police officials. Valero’s body was found in his cell hanged using his own clothes and although he showed some vital signs, he soon died, it was stated by the chief police Wilmer Flores Trosel at a state television. The World Boxing Council said that Valero is the only fighter in 30 years of the sport who can be proud of a hundred percent knock out rate from all of his 27 fights. He had gone recently into alcohol rehabilitation and he was detained in March for abusing his wife. Police Report: Ex-Boxing Champion Valero Killed Self

According to authority, former boxing champion Edwin Valero has committed suicide in his jail cell just hours after he was arrested in Venezuela in connection with his wife’s killing. Police said that the former lightweight champion used his own clothes to hang himself in his cell early Monday. He had tied his clothes to a cell bar as reported by Venezuelan Federal Police Chief Wilmer Flores. Wilmer added that another inmate alerted authorities in the police lockup in north-central Carabobo state. Valero still showed signs of life, but they were unable to save him. Edwin Valero at the age of 28-year was detained Sunday on suspicion of killing his wife, Jennifer Viera, the gravest in a string of problems that had threatened to derail his career.
