Last week, beloved 90 Day Fiance star Paola Mayfield revealed that she’d filmed a sex tape … but assured fans they’ll never see it. She prefers to show fans a different side of herself. Right now, that’s her role as a mother. Along with a new photo of her adorable baby, Paola is giving fans insight into what her life is like these days. Look at how adorable little Axel Mayfield is! He’s about a month and a half old, which is easy to remember because he was born on the first day of this year. “Hi, IG family,” Paola begins her caption beside the precious mother-son photo. “First, I want to thank you all for your kind messages,” she writes. She thanks fans “for the love my little family gets from you and for all your support.” “I’m really happy to be able to share my journey,” Paola expresses. “Including my ups and downs and my crazy moments.” “Things that I’m proud of and things that I’m not so proud of,” she continues. “And now my precious angel Axel.” “You guys know that I’m now working from home, and that I’m focused on taking care of my little baby,” Pao affirms. “But for me not being able to work is stressful,” she admits. Some people don’t know how to work. Others don’t know how to not work. Both of those folks need to find a balance. “I’m grateful that I was able to launch my fitness website with programs that I worked hard on to develop,” Paola writes. She adds: “As well as promoting brands that I trust and enjoy” “I get asked to promote a lot of brands,” the fitness model shares. “But I don’t always choose to work with them.” “I only like to promote things that I personally like,” she explains. “And that will be beneficial for some of you and to also enjoy!” There has been a lot of discussion in recent months about the responsibility that celebrities have when it comes to product endorsements. It’s good that Paola approaches the topic with careful consideration. Paola has been out of the direct spotlight on 90 Day Fiance in recent months. We imagine that some viewers will be thrilled to learn that she is now the mother of a happy, healthy baby. Last year, she revealed that she and Russ had suffered a miscarriage. This means that little Axel is the couple’s rainbow baby, and not the only one ont he 90 Day Fiance franchise. Though Pao’s life is going very well these days, she has found herself caught up in a whirlwind of drama through no fault of her own. Ashley Martson and Jay Smith’s fake “leaks” scandal has turned the 90 Day Fiance fandom upside down. The Season 6 couple, who also filmed for 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? , had appeared to be the victims of a series of leaked photos. As it turned out, however, Ashley and Jay had orchestrated some of those leaks themselves. Paola herself was shocked and appalled, feeling lied to and betrayed. She very publicly took to Instagram to express her absolute dismay. Paola explained that she had felt sorry for Ashley, and had promoted her Instagram in her own Stories out of sympathy. Fortunately, Pao’s life is mostly just about one thing these days: Axel. It’s very correct that she and Russ are spending their time on their primary responsibility instead of creating drama. Anfisa Arkhipchenko did try to shade the Mayfields, referring to them as TLC’s “b–ches” for doing the job without demanding higher pay. But since Anfisa is no longer on the show (citing the admittedly dismal payouts) and Jorge Nava is behind bars, that drama only goes so far.
