But among the most shocking revelations, is the bounds of his relationship with late singer Aaliyah, who Kelly married in 1994. She was 15 at the time. Jovante Cunningham, a former back-up dancer, who says she was and still is “protective” over Aaliyah, allegedly witnessed R. Kelly having sex with Aaliyah on a tour bus. “We were all laying in our bunks and the curtains are open, everybody’s communicating, laughing,” Cunningham explained. “When the [room] door flew open on the bus. Robert was having sex with Aaliyah.” Jovante wouldn’t go into detail about what exactly she saw, but added, “Things that an adult should not be doing with a child.” She adds, “I can’t stress to you how people are still suffering behind things that went on 20 years ago.” Aaliyah’s mother Diane Haughton dismissed Jovante’s claims in a statement released on Twitter. Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi Involved In A Brawl In New Zealand Slim Jxmmi was reportedly caught up in a street fight in New Zealand Thursday, according to reports and some video footage via TMZ . Footage published on Thursday reportedly shows one half of Rae Sremmurd involved in an altercation in Auckland. In a recent Instagram Story update, Jxmmi is seen with an ice pack on his wrist, which could be from this same incident. Though Jxmmi hasn’t issued any sort of statement on the brawl, a separate report from the New Zealand Herald includes some more info on what happened. The rapper was reportedly seen talking to police following the fight. He is said to have had “blood on his forearm and torso.” One man, who has not yet been named, was reportedly stabbed by an unknown party using a broken bottle during the altercation. Per a witness, the scuffle began after someone on the street “called out to” Jxmmi and the group, at which point a “verbal confrontation” began. As Slim Jxmmi and the rest of the group attempted to walk away, they were “attacked,” according to witnesses on the scene. One witness, who claims to have been directly involved, told the Herald that the fight happened after he took objection to Jxmmi and company’s alleged decision to record “a homeless man who had been drinking.” As of now, only one person is confirmed to have been transported to a nearby hospital with “serious” injuries. Wednesday’s episode put the new housewife on the outs with Jennifer Aydin, and while the latter has proven to be self-absorbed and overbearing, we have to side with her. Jackie wrote an article about parenting in a local newspaper, apparently trying to capitalize on the fame of being part of the cast of one of Bravo’s most popular series. However, the article appeared to be a dig at the way Jennifer raises her own kids. The action kicked into high gear at Joe and Melissa Gorga’s son’s first communion. Yeah, because there’s always an event to stir the pot on these shows. Jackie immediately approached Jennifer at the event upon walking in and started talking about her beef with Teresa Giudice. “So when we walked in, I felt bad because I’m in such a weird place with Teresa,” Jackie said, acting as though there was no article. “I feel like it’s just awkward. I said something to her that she took offense to that I did not mean to be offensive. I’m also not gonna go grovel and be like, ‘I f–ked up. I’m sorry.'” Jennifer was not about to let Jackie gloss over the article, so she changed the subject without taking a breather. “Do you feel that certain things should be off limits, like husbands and children? Would you agree with that?” Jennifer asked Jackie who seemingly agreed. “Then why would you write an article that references to my kids being spoiled?” Jennifer asked a stunned Jackie. “Did I say anything untrue?” Jackie responded. “I felt there was a lot of judgment there,” Jennifer complained. “I didn’t write your name, I didn’t say one negative thing about your children, I didn’t even say anything negative about you,” Jackie replied. Jennifer admitted to the cameras that she was “pissed” and “not backing down’ and eager to ‘rip [Jackie] a new one.” Jennifer went on to say the following: “You are not like, ‘Oh, I couldn’t help but wonder, could I write this article without seeming like a pompous, judgmental a**hole?'” SHOTS FIRED. Let some tell it, she kind of bombed, so much so that she was booed, prompting some folks at her sold-out show to walk out. Apparently, “The Last O.G.” star had been “partying all night,” still had some “Ciroc in her system” and had trouble remembering her lines. She ended up cutting her set short, but to make sure the audience still had a good time, she invited some folks up on stage to enjoy some of her vodka and see if they could do stand-up better than her. “F–k it,” she declared. “I really wanted to talk about some stuff and can’t remember none of it.” Was her behavior disappointing? Most definitely. Should everyone get a refund? Absolutely. However, unlike most of your male comedian faves, the 39-year-old took complete accountability for her actions, tweeting on Tuesday, “Yes this happened. I wish it was better Miami. But what’s really depressing is that these critiques aren’t just coming from dudes with 200 or less Twitter followers, we’ve seen this from Tiffany’s colleagues. As some of the tweets above pointed out, Katt Williams of all people with his own personal struggles, fixed his lips to say that Tiffany didn’t deserve her success . “She’s been doing comedy since she was 16. You can’t tell me your favorite Tiffany Haddish joke. Why? Because she ain’t done a tour yet. She ain’t done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back to back for an hour to nobody,” Williams said. And then in classic hotep fashion, Katt basically called her a negro bedwench. “They like her because she wanna sleep with a white man. That’s why the only thing she said was I wanna give it to Brad Pitt. She said she’s got a diseased vajayjay ain’t nobody checking for that.” Even her own “Last O.G.” co-star Tracey Morgan showed his ass during a 2018 interview, literally acting like someone stole his bike when asked what it was like to work with the “Girls Trip” comedienne . I’ll be the first one to admit that I’m still figuring out how I feel about her, her love for Taylor Swift’s collard greens and that whole #WhoBitBeyonce mess , but this hatred for her just doesn’t make any sense. Or maybe it does. Too often, when Black women have the audacity to excel at their craft, especially in areas that are male dominated, there will always be insecure men who will do and say anything to undermine that success. Hence, all these new rules that Black women have to follow and double standards we must adhere to that men never have to abide by. See, our greatness isn’t always looked at something to celebrate, it can be seen as a threat and a roadblock to other’s accomplishments. ‘Cause be crystal clear: We’re all Black queens, until our stars begin to shine brighter than theirs. Tiffany Haddish just happens to be the one currently in the crosshairs of that misogynist nonsense and her bombing in Miami continues to show us that as Black women we aren’t allowed to make mistakes. There is no room for error. We have to work harder, be smarter and be flawless in order for our talent to get a sliver of the recognition our mediocre male counterparts garner. But whether you love or hate her, Ms. Haddish isn’t going anywhere, but up.
