Source: Christian Weber courtesy of GQ / Christian Weber courtesy of GQ Singing competition shows, like American Idol and The Voice , have bee around for decades–and they’ve supplied some of industry’s most successful talent throughout the years. Despite singers like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood being discovered on television and making a name for themselves, we haven’t gotten to see that same process happen within hip-hop….well, not yet at least. VH1 did take a stab at making a similar hip-hop competition show with The-Dream , Rick Ross , and Lenny S. just last year, though it didn’t quite produce any long-lasting stars like we might have hoped. But if anyone can save the day, it’s Netflix–and they’re coming through to create a brand new hip-hop competition series titled Rhythm + Flow . The popular streaming service has landed an interesting trio of talent to judge for the show: Cardi B , Chance the Rapper , and T.I. Rhythm + Flow is going to be a ten-part hip-hop talent search set to debut in 2019. This upcoming project has an impressive musical pedigree from the hosts alone, but on top of the upfront talent, the show is also hailing from John Legend and his Get Lifted Film Co. Not only can we expect to see some new breakout talent on the series, but there’s bound to be some absolutely hilarious moments as well. Cardi B is obviously no stranger to reality television; her absolutely insane rise to fame makes a lot of us forget that it’s only been 2 years since she appeared on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York . Chance the Rapper has also been expanding his portfolio beyond just rapping recently, starring in 2018 horror-comedy Slice and hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live . As for T.I., we all know that he is a reality fixture of his own–appearing in a variety of vehicles across the Viacom platforms, including his own series with his family T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle on VH1. Rhythm + Flow comes to Netflix from executive producers John Legend, Jeff Gaspin, Jesse Collins, Nikki Boella, Jeff Pollack, Mike Jackson, and Ty Stiklorius. The series intends to find and foster undiscovered hip-hop talent across multiple cities. Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, and T.I. will serve as the three main judges, though additional artists and industry personalities will be announced in the run-up to the premiere. Is this new show something you can get behind, or are you totally over competition shows?
Source: Photo by @photosbynae / iOne Digital Chloe and Maud Arnold are women of many talents. The two sisters, who are six years apart, are probably most known for their tap dancing and choreography. Together, they perform with their all-women tap dance group Syncopated Ladies and they perform as a duo, doing workshops and performances around the world. Their tap dance videos, which have gained millions of views, have gotten the attention of people like Beyoncé , who brought the two to London to perform at her Ivy Park clothing line launch in 2016. For ten years, Chloe and Maud have also organized the DC Tap Festival under Chloe and Maud Productions in their hometown of Washington D.C. It has grown to become the biggest tap dance festival in the world. All these things are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Chloe and Maud’s accomplishments, and they have much more planned in the future. We spoke with the two artists soon after Chloe’s Emmy nomination for choreographing a segment of The Late Late Show With James Corden. The two talked about their humble beginnings in D.C. and how Debbie Allen helped them expand their creative talents early on in their career (at one point, the two even lived with Allen every summer to train). The years that followed were filled with lessons that contribute to Chloe and Maud’s amazing journey. So can you both start out by describing the biggest obstacles you had to face starting in dance? Maud: One of the obstacles was growing up poor. Usually, if you’re poor, things are set up so that you stay poor and you stay where you’re from and you don’t elevate out of that situation. Luckily, our mom is extremely illustrious and she read the newspaper and never allowed a lack of money to stop us from going after what we worked for in life. Another obstacle was people forgetting about tap dance. Chloe: Our artform was marginalized in the world of dance and in the general public. Then within that art form, African American women are marginalized. As we’re leveling up, we did receive resistance from some of the gatekeepers and men in our field. When we started to assert our own voice and our own style, it shook up the status quo and there was some resistance. That was probably the most disappointing because you hope that the people who are seeing you work your butt off are excited for you when you start to make it happen. But what Maud and I really learned from that is that no matter what, you have to stay positive. How did Debbie Allen play a role in your career? Chloe: As a teenager and for Maud’s preteens, Debbie Allen became our guiding voice and kind of awakened our possibilities. She taught us to learn everything about the arts that you possibly want to know and then it’ll be there in your foundation down the road. So that’s how we expanded to learn all styles and she encouraged us to act, and study film, and to sing. Literally anything you’re feeling artisticly, she encouraged you to do. And then after years of dancing and putting in work, Beyoncé eventually came into the picture. You shot a “Beyoncé Tap Salute” that she shared on her Facebook. Then you put out a “Formation” tribute video that she shared again? Chloe: Well the second time Beyonce shared our video, it was on her Facebook page and it was on the homepage of Beyoncé.com for several weeks. That catapulted us to at least 20 million or something views for the video. And then she hired us to go to London to launch her clothing line Ivy Park. We have not stopped working since that. Chloe: It’s just absolutely incredible and Maud and I always say, it’s a testament to what happens when women really believe in sisterhood, support it and elevate it. It makes the difference because not only has Beyoncé elevated all of the lives in Syncopated Ladies, but then that funnels to all of our students and all of the people online that are looking to us. So for all the people who watch our videos, it becomes this translation of the importance of sisterhood and lifting each other up, and believing and sharing your platform when you have it. Was there anything that surprised you when working with a particular artist like Beyoncé’s team or James Corden? Chloe: Interesting enough, I’m constantly inspired by the kindness of the teams of the people that we’ve worked with, and finding a serious parallel between excellence and kindness. So Beyoncé’s team…they were so kind. Like truly kind. When I got nominated for an Emmy, they all congratulated me. Like they’re busy, they were on tour. But the fact that they’re constantly kind — I’m just very thankful that the universe has been placing us around like-minded people with a common sense of values. Now that you all have gained this new level of success, what are your biggest obstacles now? Maud: I would say now our biggest issue is time management. Now, we need to expand because we have so much work coming in that we’re excited about. We want to make T.V. shows, and sell them and write them. It’s about finding that time to do all of those things. Chloe: I think it’s a matter of getting the investors too, so that we can build the infrastructure needed so that our time can be divided. Because we do everything. So being able to have Chloe and Maud Productions hire employees. Creating more partnerships with brands and opportunities to help build our infrastructure so that we can get more hands on deck.

Jenna Dewan was married to Channing Tatum, because they were both dancers, and understood each other on some deeper rooted effort…you know a dancer turned stripper turned actor and a dancer turned sugar baby who gets paid out by those actors… I’ve heard stories about them being nudists, that they were equally queer and graceful, and that their sex was flexible, choreographed and artistic…. They are divorced now, and she’s out there showing off her tits…before it’s too late, you know show the people your nipples….like the stripper you were meant to be before making better choices. It’s a good way to matter or be remembered or show off your dancer body…and dancers have bodies…thanks to the fitness and intensity of their craft….alone and scared now that the dick you’ve been riding has left you to probably ride other dicks….because all actors, especially male stripper dancers, are queer / bisexual…gay for pay or sometimes for fun…before dying of AIDS, even though it isn’t a death sentence…at least you’ve got his money…. Rat Cow is out there whoring out for the paparazzi to promote what I assume is her Bikini line, because she’s got a bikini line, which I think is a smart enough play from her, because you can’t just be tits getting hits on social media doing brand deals forevever. You need to invest into something that has equity, that can influence your male pervert fans to jerk off to you, and the female fans to buy your nonsense…. I don’t find Rat Cow interesting, good tits, weird face, broken down looking scam…who was getting naked at the right place, right time, in the right music video….right when instagram happened creating her….and people just don’t unfollow these idiots so they forever have that audience…whereas sites like this fade the fuck away and virtually disappear because getting people to type your name in their browser is asking too much of them…lazy fucks… While girl like this just have to be ridiculous spreading ass like this to get their name circulated, to go viral, to get noticed again…and to give her followers something they’re into jerking off to… The only interesting thing about her is that her face looks different every single time we see her, those face injections…I mean unless you find her being Kanye’s mistress before instagram interesting…or if you find her tits interesting…and that weird looking face doesn’t even matter….yet she matters. I get it, cuz I get big tits…. It’s not like we haven’t seen her pussy before.. She also has some bikini shoot pics…not pussy for the paparazzi pics…and I figure why not participate in her bullshit… TO SEE THE REST OF THE PICS CLICK HERE Here she is in some weird tranny photoshoot JOIN THE NEWSLETTER YOU ASSHOLES! Michael Tran/FilmMagic Ooops! Michael B. Jordan Speaks On Boat Pictures With GQ One of the honorees for GQ’s annual “Man Of The Year” issue recently reacted to a Bossip headline we wrote about some Becky behavior he participated in. If you can remember, Michael Bae Jordan caught HELL back in July after he was spotted in St. Tropez surrounded by melanin deficient women and his buddy Steelo Brim. We of course commented and dubbed their Italian joyride a “ Milky Mayo-y Boat Tour” to reflect how some women felt betrayed by his seemingly sunken behavior. GQ recently brought up the headline and others to MBJ who once again reiterated that he doesn’t prefer white women, and instead, the boat ride got completely misconstrued. “Did you know whose boat it was? No. Was it a yacht? Nah. If you knew what a yacht was, you’d know that wasn’t a yacht. It’s a boat,” said Jordan. “It’s a boat. Have you ever been to Italy before? Do you know how that works? Sometimes you get on a boat, you go and meet people you’ve never met before, enjoy some stuff. It’s vacation, it’s life. Then it just turned into this whole other thing that it wasn’t. It just wasn’t that. I felt like I needed to say something in that moment.” In a previous Facebook Live, Michael seemingly reacted to the milk line in particular; “I like milk. I like chocolate milk. I love chocolate milk. I like almond milk, strawberry milk. You know the Cinnamon Toast Crunch? You know what I’m saying, the milk after that? I like that, too. That’s pretty good.” and he told GQ that in hindsight he regrets commenting. “In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have. As I was doing it, all my boys, everyone, were just like, ‘Mike, put the phone down.’ But I was like, ‘Nah, I need to get this off my chest.’ I just felt like it was unfair, I guess. I just felt emotional at the time.” Aww man, Mike. Sorry you took offense but if you look back at those pictures they wereeeeee milky. His friend Steelo also took partial responsibility for the lack of black women on board. “Michael wouldn’t say this,” Brim tells me over the phone. “I will. He was getting on the boat, but that was my girlfriend. I have a white girlfriend,” vaguely suggesting that all the white women on the boat in Italy were friends with his girlfriend. The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back for Season 11. Unfortunately, ratings at the season premiere are lower than they’ve been in several years. Meanwhile, former Housewife Kenya Moore welcomed her first child … and she can’t help but smile. If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , you know that the show has been going on as before. Kandi and Porsha are struggling to approximate friendship after previously feuding. NeNe is grappling with Gregg’s cancer battle. But Kenya Moore is missing. She’s no longer on the show. In real life, however, she recently gave birth to a precious preemie baby, Brooklyn Doris Daly. And on Sunday, Kenya shared this precious photo for the world to see: Kenya hasn’t shown her adorable baby’s face yet, but a precious baby hand is more than enough to tide over her fans. Following being diagnosed with preeclampsia, which caused her feet to swell, Kenya was given a C-section . Kenya, though certainly not old by any reasonable metric, is considered “old” for pregnancy, so she always knew that there would be risks. Fortunately, it seems that the C-section was a success. Kenya is recovering, and was even feeling healthy enough to go on a Target run (in a motorized scooter, to be clear). And at 5 pounds and 12 ounces, baby Brooklyn was technically within the “normal” range for baby weights, if very close to the low end of the spectrum. But one person did not find Kenya’s sweet mother-daughter hand photo endearing in the least. “I can’t wit the calculations on Sunday’s,” NeNe Leakes wrote on Instagram. She tagged her vague post: “#thethirstisreal #weseeyou #wacks–t” The implication that NeNe seemed to be making was that Kenya timed her photo in a shady manner. Perhaps, for example, Kenya showed off her baby’s hand to distract fans from her former show. Or maybe she did it to remind Bravo of the kind of content that they’re missing out on since she’s no longer on the show. Whatever it is that NeNe believes that Kenya is up to … it’s unclear why NeNe felt the need to comment. Some might suspect that NeNe is feeling insecure because of what some tabloids have described as a “ratings crash.” The season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta brought in 1.93 million viewers. That made it the lowest rated season opener since Season 5. That said, relatively low ratings for a premiere aren’t necessarily a huge crash. it’s not good news, but they had about the same number of viewers as recently as April 1 of 2018. Bravo may be concerned, but we can’t imagine that they’re panicking. That said, NeNe may be worried — because she’s the show’s highest paid star. That said, some people can’t help but connect the dots. Kenya’s firing was certainly the biggest change between last season and this season. Now, Kenya has everything she wanted — a loving husband and a precious newborn baby. In the mean time, The Real Housewives of Atlanta has taken a downward turn from being Bravo’s highest rated show. It may not have been Kenya’s choice to go overboard, but it’s looking like she may have jumped ship at a smart time. Or maybe people are less interested now that she’s off the show. Not every Real Housewives series is going to last or click with all viewers. But we don’t think that it’s time to start singing RHOA ‘s funeral dirge just yet. This season’s ratings may pick up. If not, there’s always next season. Probably Bravo would likely be reluctant to cancel, for a host of reasons. View Slideshow: The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 11: All the Secrets… EXPOSED!

Email Submit The new Washington, D.C. metro headquarters in Arlington will be located in National Landing. Tens of thousands of additional jobs are expected to be created starting in 2019. “We are excited to build new headquarters in New York City and Northern Virginia,” said Jeff Bezos, founder, and CEO of Amazon. “These two locations will allow us to attract world-class talent that will help us to continue inventing for customers for years to come. The team did a great job selecting these sites, and we look forward to becoming an even bigger part of these communities.” SEE ALSO: Nas-Backed Medical Service PillPack Sells To Amazon For $1 Billion National Landing is an urban community in Northern Virginia located less than 3 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. The area is served by 3 Metro stations, commuter rail access, and Reagan National Airport – all within walking distance. The community has a variety of hotels, restaurants, high-rise apartment buildings, retail, and commercial offices. National Landing has abundant parks and open space with sports and cultural events for residents of all ages throughout the year. As part of Amazon’s new headquarters, Virginia and Arlington will benefit from more than 25,000 full-time high-paying jobs; approximately $2.5 billion in Amazon investment; 4 million square feet of energy-efficient office space with the opportunity to expand to 8 million square feet; and an estimated incremental tax revenue of $3.2 billion over the next 20 years as a result of Amazon’s investment and job creation. Amazon will receive performance-based direct incentives of $573 million based on the company creating 25,000 jobs with an average wage of over $150,000 in Arlington. This includes a workforce cash grant from the Commonwealth of Virginia of up to $550 million based on $22,000 for each job created over the next 12 years. Amazon will only receive this incentive if it creates the forecasted high-paying jobs. The company will also receive a cash grant from Arlington of $23 million over 15 years based on the incremental growth of the existing local Transient Occupancy Tax, a tax on hotel rooms. The community and Amazon employees will benefit from the Commonwealth investing $195 million in infrastructure in the neighborhood, including improvements to the Crystal City and the Potomac Yards Metro stations; a pedestrian bridge connecting National Landing and Reagan National Airport; and work to improve safety, accessibility, and the pedestrian experience crossing Route 1 over the next 10 years. Arlington will also dedicate an estimated $28 million based on 12% of future property tax revenues earned from an existing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district for on-site infrastructure and open space in National Landing. “We are proud that Amazon has selected National Landing for a major new headquarters. This is, above all, a validation of our community’s commitment to sustainability, transit-oriented development, affordable housing, and diversity,” said Arlington County Board Chair Katie Cristol. “The strength of our workforce coupled with our proximity to the nation’s capital makes us an attractive business location. But Arlington’s real strength is the decades of planning that have produced one of the most vibrant, civically engaged communities in the world. Those plans have paved the way for this investment, and we look forward to engaging the Arlington community about Amazon’s plans and how we can grow together.” You can click here to read more from the Amazon Press Release . I don’t want people in either party tearing each other up to get to the nomination. I’m going to be looking to see who handles themselves and each other with dignity and respect so that by the time people get to the general (election), people aren’t beat up and battered,” she stated. Obama takes several direct shots at Trump in her book. She slams the president for promoting the “birther” conspiracy theory that questioned whether her husband, President Barack Obama , was born in the United States. “The whole [birther] thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed. But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks. What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this I’d never forgive him,” she writes.
