Jeremy Calvert has said in the past that Teen Mom 2 is phony, negative, contentious and all-around terrible. But the veteran reality star simply can’t stay away. Not even previously claiming he was totally and completely outta there. Back in late June, Calvert made a relatively quiet exit from the series that has made him sort of famous. Asked at the time by OK! Weekly whether he would be returning for future episodes of the show, Calvert replied simply: ” Nope, I’m not .” That was pretty much all we heard from the Leah Messer’s ex-husband (and second baby daddy), unless you count that random time this summer he rushed to the defense of Farrah Abraham . Now, however, the same tabloid to whom Calvert gave his initial quote is confirming the opposite: OK! now writes that Jeremy will be returning to Teen Mom 2 after all. The major news comes on the heels of Calvert posting a photo to Instagram of MTV cameras inside his car, further hammering home the idea that we have not yet seen the last of this controversial cast member. On one hand, this is not surprising. Despite their shoddy history as a couple and also as a former couple, feelings clearly still exist between Calvert and Messer. The stars absolutely got it on (read: had sexual intercourse) just a few months ago. On the other hand, this decision is very surprising. We say that because Calvert has been a vocal opponent of the franchise for over a year now. In 2017, as he and Leah filmed scenes about a potential reconciliation of their romance, Calvert jumped on his Instagram page and ranted about the way he was being portrayed by producers. And we mean… he RANTED! “All they want is the negative editing, arguments, fights, disagreements so they can f-cking make a show,” he said, pretty much stating the obvious about any reality show and adding: “If you people are that goddamn stupid to not see that, what the f-ck is your problem?… It’s not f-cking hard to put two and two together, people… “Yes, MTV just wants drama, people!” (At other points, Calvert hollered about how the sky is blue, the Pope is Catholic and Scott Disick is a douchebag.) Calvert also target Teen Mom 2 viewers via this diatribe, which continued as follows: “F-cking people think they know everything. They can f-cking f-ck off and jump off a f-cking bridge and die for all I care.” If he hates it so much, why hasn’t Calvert just quit for good and for real? “Everybody keeps saying, ‘Oh you can stop filming… at any time you want to,'” he wrote to folks who suggested this. “No motherf-ckers you can’t. You signed a contract. So no you can’t. You don’t know anything about the contract.” Fair enough. We do know a lot about Calvert, however. In case you haven’t checked in on Scott Disick in a while, and you were hoping that his cradle-robbing relationship with Sofia Richie had quietly come to an end … we have some bad news for you. While Disick and Sofia did break up over the summer in a brief burst rationality, they’ve since resumed their ill-advised romance. And as you can see, Scott reminded the world of that fact in somewhat uncomfortable fashion over the weekend It seems he and Sofia traveled to Las Vegas to attend UFC 229 on Saturday night. As you may have heard, the evening’s main event was a much-hyped bout between outspoken Irishman Connor McGregor and the undefeated Russian juggernaut Khabib Nurmagomedov. After McGregor was forced to tap out, all hell broke loose, as Khabib leaped into the crowd to fight a heckler. Several members of the Russian’s team entered the ring with the intention of attacking McGregor, and arena security was forced to rush front row attendees to safety. “So the night ended with us getting rushed out!” Richie later wrote in an Instagram story. “Of course I attend the fight that ends in a riot.” We’re sure it was an unpleasant experience, but Sofia has been with Scott for quite some time now. So by now, she must be accustomed to short, angry dudes exhibiting wild bursts of erratic behavior. Anyway, there’s been enough coverage of the fight and its totally bonkers aftermath. We’re here to discuss the fully-clothed, yet oddly-intimate photo that Scott took and Sofia posted. Now, Sofia is 20, which means she’s a consenting adult, and her relationship with Scott is perfectly legal, and yada, yada, yada. But when they started dating, she was still in her teens, and since he’s a 35-year-old father of three, there’s a considerable ick factor to this relationship. Ben Affleck is out of rehab. But is the actor out of the woods when it comes to potential dangers that could result from an ongoing drinking problem? No. However, to celebrate his release from his latest stint inside a treatment facility, Affleck just took a trip into the woods with surprisingly serious girlfriend Shauna Sexton . It’s been a whirlwind several days for Affleck. The actor has, at last, finalized his divorce from Jenner Garner; and he’s also left rehab for the third time, following an extended stay that some dumb people on the Internet attributed to Sexton herself . Free from his wife and free from the bottle, Affleck jetted off this weekend to Big Sky, Montana with Sexton. The pair clearly wanted to get away from it all, spending their time in the wilderness and the water, with Shauna chronicling a lot of the trip on social media. Days after Affleck agreed to receive treatment for his addiction, Sexton shut down rumors that she played a role in her boyfriend’s relapse, writing on Instagram: “Ben is a grown ass man, baby. He makes his own decisions.” And he has clearly now decided to take the romantic plunge with Sexton. He’s also opened up to the public about his rehabilitation and his hopes for the future. “This week I completed a forty day stay at a treatment center for alcohol addiction and remain in outpatient care,” Affleck said in a statement last week, adding in more gracious detail: The support I have received from my family, colleagues, and fans means more to me than I can say. It’s given me the strength and support to speak about my illness with others. Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle. Because of that, one is never really in or out of treatment. It is a full-time commitment. I am fighting for myself and my family. So many people have reached out on social media and spoken about their own journeys with addiction. To those people, I want to say thank you. Your strength is inspiring and is supporting me in ways I didn’t think was possible. It helps to know I am not alone. As I’ve had to remind myself, if you have a problem, getting help is a sign of courage, not weakness or failure. With acceptance and humility, I continue to avail myself with the help of so many people and I am grateful to all those who are there for me. Nurmagomedov made the Irishman submit at the end of the fourth round before jumping over the Octagon ring and fighting with McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach. Not only that, two men jumped into the ring and brawled with McGregor. ESPN reports that three members of Nurmagomedov’s team were arrested and released and Nurmagomedov could earn a suspension. This for me is very important,” sai Khabib. He also claimed that he got a congratulatory phone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin who told him, “he is very proud of me.” Before the fight McGregor attacked a bus in Brooklyn that Nurmagomeeov was on by hurling a steel dolly through the window and injured several people on board with broken glass. He also called Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, a “snitch terrorist rat.”
Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty Images Rapper Hollywood Play Shot Dead In Front Of Queens Lounge A rapper was gunned down in front of a lounge in Queens, New York where he was hosting a birthday party early on Sunday morning, according to authorities. 35-year-old Frank Snyder, known by the stage name “Hollywood Play,” reportedly stepped out of Tavern Lounge on Jamaica Avenue at about 3:15 a.m. According to police, a black sedan then pulled up in front of the club, and a gunman got out and began firing toward the lounge. Snyder was shot once in the leg and once in his neck, authorities said. He was immeadiately rushed to Jamaica Hospital and there he was pronounced dead. It was not immediately clear if Hollywood Play was the intended target of the shooting, according to police, but a bartender at the lounge said that the shooter did appear to be aiming for the rapper. “They targeted him,” Tiesajah Reynolds said Sunday morning. “There was a couple other people outside. I feel like they had to wait for the right moment to get him. I don’t understand, why him? Why come after him? They had to be waiting for him.” The bartender later added that she heard a car speed away from the scene after the shots, and believed it may have been a drive-by shooting. A friend and fellow rapper who goes by the name Chedda Boss said he was absolutely stunned by the news. “When I woke up and saw [on social media] ‘RIP,’ I’m like, no, not my man Frankie. And my first thought was, damn, I hope he didn’t pass away in a car accident,” he said. “I would never have thought he’d gotten shot, because that’s not the kind of life that he lived.” Snyder was hosting a birthday party at the lounge on Saturday night before the fatal shooting, according to social media posts. “HollywoodPlay & #straightMovin presents #BringYaFriendsSaturdays,” read a post on Snyder’s Instagram prior to the celebration. Any more information on the motive or identity of the shooter is still unknown.
Cristy Caserta, a woman who vied for the heart of Brad Womack on The Bachelor Season 15, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday after suffering an apparent seizure. She was 38 years old. According to law enforcement officials, per TMZ, Caserta was attending a class at a school in Sunrise, Florida when she suddenly fell forward at the desk where she was sitting. Her alarmed classmates quickly dialed 911. Tragically, however, Caserta went into cardiac arrest as the paramedics arrived and administered CPR. She was transported to nearby Westside Regional Medical Center … where they continued efforts to save her, but it was too late. She was pronounced dead not long after her arrival. The police have said they don’t suspect foul play and that no drugs were found in Caserta’s system. An autopsy will be performed Friday to determine the official cause of death. This is what the Sunrise Police Department in Florida said about Caserta, who worked as an attorney: “The students around her noticed her coffee fell to the ground and thought maybe she fell asleep, but she was unresponsive when they approached her. “They called 911, and Fire Rescue showed up and started CPR and she was still unresponsive.” As mentioned above, Caserta was featured on Womack’s second season as The Bachelor. She was sent home during the first week. Stephen Carbone, the blogger behind the Bachelor spoilers site Reality Steve, paid tribute to Caserta on Thursday night, writing: “Sick to my stomach to see that Cristy Caserta from Brad Womack’s 2nd season has suddenly passed away. “Cristy was always there to give me legal advice in the past. I’m at a loss after seeing people post on her FB. Just spoke a couple weeks ago. RIP my friend.” In January, Caserta started a job working as a corporate lawyer for a healthcare staffing agency in Sunrise. She had worked as a lawyer at a different company during her time on The Bachelor and was granted leave to appear on the series.
