Simone recently told PEOPLE magazine that they’ve indeed put the brakes on their divorce and they’re in couple’s counseling. “We agreed we would get in counseling and stay in counseling to see if we could work it out,” said Dr. Simone. “For me, I’m not going back to the way it was,” the OBGYN adds. “Neither one of us were happy. So we can’t go back to the old dysfunctional relationship that we had. I won’t do it. We’re trying to establish something new — something better — that’s fulfilling for both of us where we are both feeling love and enjoying one another’s company.” She also added that she hopes the counseling will help bring them closer both as a couple and as “sexually active partners.” “In an ideal scenario, we stay with some intense marital counseling and we make a decision that we really are going to commit to changing the marriage and what it was,” she says. “I’m hoping we come out better friends, better confidants and more sexually active partners.” “It’s hard to say where we’ll really end up though. We know the above headline is likely to make you laugh. But this is a serious matter. This is the story of a real tragedy that took place in Great Britain. According to various news outlets, a 24-year old father named Ateeq Rafiq was seeing a movie in Birmingham, England on March 9 when he dropped his cellphone between two reclining seats. When Rafiq bent down to pick up the item, the footrest on the electrically-powered seat clamped down on his head, reports the Birmingham Mail newspaper. The horrific incident took place at Vue Cinema at Star City, the outside of which is pictured below. Said a spokesperson for the venue in a prepared statement: “Following an incident which took place on Friday 9 March at our Birmingham cinema, we can confirm that a customer was taken to hospital that evening. “We are saddened to learn that he passed away on Friday 16 March. “A full investigation into the nature of the incident is ongoing. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family who have our full support and assistance.” How could this possibly have happened? A source familiar with the situation described what transpired thusly when speaking to the aforementioned publication: “The Gold Class seats are electric reclining seats. He bent down to look for his phone. “At this point the leg-rest was in an upright position. But as he stuck his head underneath to have a look, the footrest clamped down onto his head. He was stuck. “His partner and staff tried to free him but couldn’t. The chair leg-rest was eventually broken free and he managed to get out.” From there, Rafiq was taken to a local hospital. He passed away several days later from injuries sustained in this freak accident. The victim’s family is devastated by the loss, says sister-in-law Fatima Arzo to The Daily Mirror. “We are grieving and completely in shock. My sister is in pieces,” she told the newspaper, adding: “We are grateful to everyone who tried to help him, and at the moment we are praying and trying to come to terms with the fact we lost a loved one.” The cinema complex at Star City where this took place features 25 screens, including three Gold Class rooms where the emphasis is on comfort and luxury. However, those who know Justin best say that he’s not actually serious about his relationship with Champion and is simply using her to make Selena jealous. “Selena is telling her friends that she doesn’t give a f-ck what Justin is up to and the fact that he is seeing other women is the exact reason why she ended this last time,” But those who know the singer best are buying into her feigned flippancy: “Selena has been acting very distant from everyone and there’s been a lot of concern for her well-being because she’s been acting off.” Selena checked into rehab twice in as many years, and while there’s been no indication that she’s fallen off the wagon as a result of her breakup, that possibility is the greatest fear of her loved ones these days. Gomez received a kidney transplant last year, and the likelihood that a period of hard-partying could have catastrophic consequences is frighteningly high. Even discounting her latest breakup, the past year has been an incredibly tumultuous one for Gomez. Gomez has cut ties with her mother, Mandy Teefey, who was apparently hoping that their relationship would benefit from Selena parting ways with Bieber. “Her mother Mandy was hoping that the breakup would bring Selena back into her life but that hasn’t happened,” says the source. “Mandy has literally tried everything she can and Selena just does not seem interested in working things out at all.” It’s yet another reason that Selena’s inner circle is said to be deeply concerned for the 25-year-old’s welfare. “Selena’s friends think the only reason she got back with Justin in the first place was to break his heart for breaking her heart so many times.” We guess that mission was less than successful.

Hmmm… is it too late for Justin Bieber to tell Bill Hader he's sorry? The former Saturday Night Live cast member was a guest on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, in promotion of his upcoming HBO series, when the topic turned to Hader's least favorite SNL host of all-time. And the comedian didn't hesitate in giving a response: Bieber. The answer was undoubtedly Bieber, Hader said. “He was in a bad place,” Hader said, thinking back to Bieber's much darker days and adding: “Maybe he’s in a better place, but back then … It was rough.” The artist served as host and musical guest on a February 2013 episode. At the time, he was in the middle of a world tour at the time, having just released his third studio album, Believe, in June 2012… and drinking a lot, partying often and generally acting like a dick. Hader told Bill Simmons on his podcast last week that Bieber yelled at some SNL staff members who were simply trying to do a wardrobe change for him, while showing up with a giant entourage. He said similar things to Howard Stern back in May of 2013. “Justin Bieber showed up with like 20 guys and every time – backstage is a very small constructed place – he had a guy holding a slice of pizza, a guy holding a Diet Coke,” Hader told Stern, adding: “You were trying to fight around all these people to get dressed.” Once again, Hader did try to be diplomatic about Bieber's terrible behavior and attitude. “Everyone’s usually on great behavior. Everyone’s very excited. Most times it’s 100 percent and that’s why I think Bieber was the only one, in my experience. “He just seemed, like, exhausted or at the end of a rope. He was just so huge.” It was a tough time for the star, who is sort of going through another one now as he tries to win back over Selena Gomez . On the flip side, Hader also told Stern a few years ago: “I had nice chats with [Bieber] when he was doing the scenes… he was a nice guy. Of all of the disastrous 90 Day Fiance couples that have graced our screens, few if any have been more controversial than Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali. We know that Mohamed may face deportation after some paperwork vanished in transit, but … what has Danielle been up to? Resenting her ex and throwing shade on social media. Take a look at her latest jab. Now, Mohamed and Danielle’s split has been deeply acrimonious. Though they were one of those special 90 Day Fiance couples who do make it far enough to walk down the aisle at the end of their 90 days, these two seem to hate each other. Mohamed accused Danielle of stealing his money and identity during their marriage. Danielle has tried during their divorce process to get Mohamed deported … out of retaliation for him withholding sex from her during their marriage. Mohamed has since seemed to accuse Danielle of having an STI or some other sort of disease. And now, Danielle has posted this: “I don’t have [exes], I have examples of what not to do again,” it reads. Even teens can have exes, but the phrasing, the large font, and the “clever” sincerity make it appear marketed to Danielle’s exact demographic. Danielle enjoys sharing with her followers on social media. She posts things like recipes and family photos. But she’s not above dragging Mohamed Jbali from time to time. Danielle captioned this photo: “This is so true.” Interestingly, Danielle’s followers have seemed to take issue with the fact that, in real life and on social media, she has retained the name “Danielle Jbali” despite her enmity towards Mohamed. Fans were particularly outspoken under this post, since she did (indirectly) bring up Mohamed. They commented on it so much that Danielle felt that she had to speak out. “Drop the name [questions] already,” she writes. “I have chosen to use my legal name on my social media. I am living my life for me not fans of the show. My social media is mine and if you don’t like what I do unfollow me.” Danielle continues, explaining that she does not like the hate and hostility that she too often receives on social media. “We are humans like you. Just because we agreed to go on tv does not mean we have to put up with the negative comments and questions that is not your business. You keep calling other people names you will be blocked.” Fans accused her of hypocrisy, however, since she’s choosing to bash Mohamed while still using his name. “Stop talking about your “EXAMPLE” or bringing him up! It’s simple done and over with. @danielle_jbali no body cares you keep the name you could just change it on instagram it costs nothing. But you can keep it legally, just change it on instagram.” While it’s true that it costs precisely zero dollars to change your display name on social media (unlike legal name changes, which cost time and money), Danielle hit back at this critic. “if you don’t like what I post unfollow or I will help you.” Dang. Still, fans chimed in to defend Danielle. “People it’s her life if she wants to keep her last name or not it’s not a big deal and what she post on her page is her page don’t like it press unfollower button it’s that simple and happy 2018 year girl.” Some people keep an exes name because it’s how they’re known to the public. Others keep it because it’s the surname of their children. It’s always a personal choice. It’s a personal choice for Danielle, too.
