It's been maybe a week since notorious 90 Day Fiance cheater Jay Smith went Instagram official with his girlfriend . Some TV shows manage to keep fans happy for the entire time they are on the air. Others, not so much. These 13 TV shows rubbed the fans the wrong way on more than one occasion. It probably explains why most of them are no longer on the air. 1. The Walking Dead The Negan storyline was a big deal. The moment it was teased that this comic book character was making his entrance into the TV iteration, everyone seemed excited … until he started killing off series regulars. Killing off Glen and Abraham on the Season 7 premiere in brutal fashion resulted in several complaints about the series. It never recovered in the ratings. 2. Arrow Oliver and Felicity broke up at least twice per season. The reasons for why got more ludicrous as the years went on, but still, many fans stopped watching the show in protest at just how many times this couple’s relationship was used to advance a series that was supposed to be about a superhero. 3. Empire When Empire arrived on the scene, it was bursting with the soapy goodness that TV viewers had been craving since Desperate Housewives went off the air. The show was an immediate hit for Fox, but the producers thought it would be a good idea to bring in several celebrities for guest appearances, and it took away from the escapism that the show was offering viewers. The ratings took a huge hit as viewers complained about the stunt casting. 4. The 100 The 100 was going from strength to strength until about halfway through its third season. The powers that be thought it would be rad to kill Lexa off … just as she and Clarke solidified their relationship. It did not go down well. 5. The Vampire Diaries Elena will always be remembered as one of the most crucial characters on The Vampire Diaries — even if Nina Dobrev quit two years ahead of the final season. The show was not the same without her, and the ratings circled the drain. It would have been better to just end the show in a strong way after the sixth season. 6. Game of Thrones For a show that will be remembered for decades after its finale, you would think the creative forces would have been able to craft a coherent final season. Missy Elliott is finally receiving MTV’s coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. The iconic Hefty bag baring rapper, producer and songwriter will receive the award on Aug. 26 at the 2019 VMAs. Variety reports that Missy will perform live at the awards show for the first time in 16 years. “Missy’s impact on the music landscape is indelible,” said Bruce Gillmer, MTV International co-brand head and Viacom music and music talent head. “Her creative vision across production, performance and songwriting is unmatched.” Elliott, a five-time Grammy Award winner and the first female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, has sold more than 30 million records worldwide, thanks to hits like “Work It,” “Get Ur Freak On” and “WTF (Where They From).” She is the only female rapper to have six studio albums certified platinum. Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and Kanye have all previously received the award in recent years. Last year the award went to J.Lo and there was noticeable upset on social media from folks who wanted the honor to go to Missy. In a new photo shared to her Instagram page, Amber Portwood is showing off her brand new digs. Along with her fairly prominent cleavage. We’re not trying to be crude or inappropriate here. As first reported by Us Weekly, a judge decreed that she could spend more time with her young son , James, in the weeks and months ahead — but with a pretty huge catch: She still must be accompanied by a court-approved supervisor. Might this sanction be lifted the next time Portwood attends a court hearing? On August 22? It’s possible. But Andrew Glennon seems intent on pushing for primary custody of little James, concerned about the environment in which Portowod would raise the infant. Back on July 5, Portwood was arrested for allegedly throwing a shoe and Andrew and then allegedly taking a machete to the bathroom door in an attempt to get to her boyfriend and son. She was arrested in a different domestic battery charge in 2010 and ended up serving over a year in jail for a related probation violation. In this case, Andrew was so frightened by the way Portwood was acting that he told a 911 operator, via text message, that he thought she might kill him or their son or both. “I received a text message from somebody saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger,” this operator has said for the official legal record. In the month-plus since this incident, Amber has not commented directly on what may or may not have transpired. But she’s hinted on multiple occasions that Glennon was cheating on her and even that Glennon often drove around drunk . It’s pretty clear that she’s trying to impugn Glennon’s character in an attempt to make herself look better and perhaps even justify her violent actions from last month. So far, however, it doesn’t appear as if this strategy is paying off. Most observers think Portwood needs professional help, if not another jail sentence, and most definitely should NOT be a Teen Mom cast member any longer. Do you agree? Well, another summer is almost at an end. It’s a bummer in many respects, but fall offers much to look forward to — the return of football, memes about how much pumpkin spice flavoring sucks, and of course, a new season of Vanderpump Rules . After emerging as a surprise hit on Bravo’s roster back in 2013 Vanderpump has consistently delivered the goods for seven solid seasons now. But there’s no denying that the series has reached the point where most reality shows begin to show their age. Four cast members will get married this season (turns out Tom and Katie’s first wedding wasn’t legal), and now that Stassi is engaged to Beau Clark, with the exception of Kristen Doute, the entire cast is paired off in serious relationships. (In case you missed it, Billie Lee has quit the show . Newcomers often have a hard time with this bunch.) That’s great for the cast, but contented homebodies aren’t known for delivering dramatic fireworks, which could spell trouble for the future of the show. Fortunately, the ladies and gents who pretend to work at SUR remain as petty as ever, and if the feuds among them are fake, then they all deserve acting Emmys. This time around, it’s Kristen Doute who’s been cast out of the Witches of WeHo. The cause of the beef is unclear, but multiple sources have confirmed that Kristen is no longer on speaking terms with Stassi Schroeder or Katie Maloney. Over the weekend, Doute held a launch party for her new t-shirt line, and while Katie’s husband, Tom Schwartz, was on hand, she and Stassi were conspicuously absent. Stassi’s mother, Dayna Schroeder, confirmed on Instagram that there’s some bad blood, calling the feud “quite sad.” “I didn’t really know all the particulars. So I was out of the loop for awhile,” Dayna Schroeder explained. “Don’t you worry, it’s like Lion King and the circle of life. ….each one of these girls will grow, change and come back to their original strong friendship bond that they’ve always had.
