The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Erika Girardi Goes OFF!

The ladies continued to bicker on Tuesday’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  The latest explosive installment kicked off with Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Teddi Mellencamp, Lisa Rinna, and Dorit Kemsley still sunning it up in France.  But it was only a matter of time before the drama caught up with them.  At the beginning of the trip, Kyle and Teddi were trying to fan the flame that Erika was mad at Lisa Rinna for dressing up as her, before bashing Kim Richards.  Erika tried to imply it was water off a duck’s back, but Kyle and Teddi were not convinced. At a dinner later in the vacation, Erika snapped because she had heard enough.  “What’s weird is that you care. What’s weird is that you’re pushing it. What’s weird is that you’re reaching for something!” Erika shouted across the table. “We don’t need to talk about it anymore. I don’t understand why you guys want me to feel a certain way about it. I’m good!” Teddi clearly knew she was being portrayed as a schemer, and swiftly left the restaurant with Dorit in two. Erika then left, clearly irate at the whole thing.  Rinna then tried to find out from Kyle why they wouldn’t shut the eff up about something so silly. Kyle proceeded to drop the ultimate bombshell: She didn’t think Erika enjoyed hanging out with the ladies. In a true twist, all of the ladies returned, and Lisa R urged Kyle to come clean.  “What are you talking about? I’ve had the best time!”  Teddi grinned from ear to ear as Erika said that, while Kyle looked like she wanted the ground to open up and swallow her in that very spot.  “What, I didn’t feel good today, but I said that right away,” Erika continued.  Teddi then wanted to know whether Erika liked hanging around with the group, and Erika nodded. That wasn’t enough for Teddi and Kyle to shut up. They continued to say they thought they were hated.  “And so now it’s turned into ‘Erika doesn’t wanna be here’ and ‘I don’t have fun with the group’ and you don’t think I like anybody,” Erika yelled. “So are you trying to push me out?” Teddi said that she wanted to know where she stood with Erika.  “I feel like there’s something else there,” Erika said, pointing at Kyle and Teddi. “I kind of feel a little bullied right now. I feel like the two of you are in cahoots and now want me to feel a certain way about something that never really bothered me.” “So now I’m feeling a little bullied, and maybe I should go to bed now.” “Ohhh, look at me. I’m so f–king offended,” she said as she left the table. “You guys wanna make up shit? Good. Keep going! Keep going.” From that point on, all the women aside from Erika got drunk, and Kyle thought it would be a good idea to try and fix things with Erika.  But the singer was not ready, telling Kyle to speak to her in the morning.  What did you think of the action? Jenelle Evans is really having a tough time with her family these days. As you've likely heard by now, the former Teen Mom OG star has lost custody of her children because a judge has determined that she and husband David Eason have established a dangerous environment in which to raise their kids. The final straw in this decision centered on Eason shooting and killing his family's dog with a shotgun. Meanwhile, while Jenelle is dealing with this troubling situation, another family member has also made her presence felt and known — much to the chagrin of Evans. We speak here about Ashleigh Evans Wilson. She is Jenelle's estranged sister and she wants you to know that she is NOTHING like her famous siblings. What are their differences? Bill Cosby Had the Actual Nerve to Tweet a Father’s Day Message

These days, Bill Cosby is sitting in a prison cell, presumably harboring disturbed fantasies about offering tea to Meghan Markle . But over the weekend, he shocked the world by taking to Twitter. Bill Cosby's Twitter account shared a throwback video, a Father's Day message, and strongly implied that he's been framed by racists. “Hey, Hey, Hey…” Cosby's tweet begins. “It’s America’s Dad…” Interestingly, Matt Lauer has also been referred to as “America's Dad.” He's also not too popular now that people know who he really is. “I know it’s late,” Cosby acknowledges. “But to all of the Dads…” He writes: “It’s an honor to be called a Father,” “So,” Cosby's tweet suggests. “Let’s make today a renewed oath to fulfilling our purpose.” What purpose, you ask? Don't worry — he spells it out. He says that father's have an obligation towards “strengthening our families and communities.” Okay, sure. “#HappyFathersDay” Cosby's tweet is tagged. “#RenewedOathToOurFamily.” But what is really raising eyebrows — aside from this brash tweet from a notorious monster — is the accompanying video. “After slavery was over,” Cosby says in the throwback video. “America kept breaking up the black man's family.” “And,” he admits. “That's some awful history to teach.” “Now,” he continues. “If you wanna look history right straight in the eye, you're gonna get a black eye.” “Because it isn't important if a few black heroes got lost or stolen or strained in America's history textbooks,” Cosby suggests. “What's important,” Cosby explains. “Is  why  they got left out.” “Now,” Cosby continues in the video. “This country has got a psychological history.” “There was a master race, and there was a slave race,” he acknowledges. “And though there isn't any political slavery,” Cosby says, adding: “Anymore.” “Those same old attitudes,” he notes. “Have hung around.” Bill Cosby may be easily one of the most prolifically awful people we can think of, but what he says in this old, old video is true. “The burning part of 'Burn, Baby, Burn' is right here in this classroom.” Cosby says. This is when the clip reveals that he is standing in a fourth grade classroom full of students who are working on art. He then thanks the students and their teacher for allowing him to make the video and for the artwork that they're doing. As you can imagine, Cosby's out-of-the-blue tweet, both tone deaf and tasteless, caught people off guard. This went doubly true in light of O.J. Simpson's shocking creation of a Twitter account . The jokes write themselves, but some Twitter denizens got creative. That said, Cosby's video was much worse than merely tasteless or tone deaf. It doesn't take an analytical genius to read between the lines. Cosby is all but flat-out saying that America is silencing him because he's a prominent and influential black man. White supremacy is very real and very harmful. But we think that Cosby's situation has more to do with 60 women who didn't like being drugged and assaulted. We're reminded of R. Kelly making very similar claims about his numerous accusers. It take s a special kind of awful for a person to try to use real narratives of oppression to defend themselves.

Taylor Swift Dresses as French Fries, Embraces New Bestie… Katy Perry?!?

Taylor Swift has released the first video off her upcoming new album . It features an endless array of celebrities, along with a progressive and important political message… … but most folks are really just focused on the following screen capture from this footage. Yup. That’s a photo of Swift and Katy Perry dressed up as an order of french fries and a hamburger, respectively. The unexpected cameo by Perry in Swift’s music video for “You Need to Calm Down” comes days after Perry shared a photo online of a plate of cookies , which served as a symbol of peace between the long-time rivals. It’s been widely presumed these two had beef because Swift believed many years ago that Katy stole some backup dancers from her tour . Neither of these superstars ever confirmed this strong rumor, but Taylor wrote the single “Bad Blood” about Perry and Perry talked very openly over the years about how Swift tried to destroy her . But those days are apparently in the past. What has sent them to that place? It would appear to be a common cause. Both artists have been vocal supporters of the LGBTQ community and they share the screen in the video below, which debuted on Monday during Good Morning America and also during Pride Month. The video and the song represent Swift’s strongest political statement to date, and it seems as if she and Perry have ended their feud in order to get on the same page with it. “Let’s show our pride by demanding that, on a national level, our laws truly treat all our citizens equally,” reads an on-screen message at end of the video. “Please sign my petition for Senate support of the Equality Act on Change.org.” Taylor Swift – “You Need to Calm Down” The Equality Act, if passed, would amend the Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Swift, who stunned attendees last Friday with a surprise performance at New York’s gay landmark Stonewall Inn, has released a vibrantly-colored video here. It features appearance by: Ellen Degeneres, Ryan Reynolds, Dexter Mayfield, Laverne Cox, Karamu Brown, Rupaul, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mikita, Bobby Berk, Tan France, Billy Porter, Adam Lambert, Todrick Hall, Hayley Kiyoko, Chester Lockhart and Adam Rippon. Along with several others. The track’s lyrics also make Swift’s intentions very clear. To wit: “Why are you mad when you could be GLAAD?” she asks, echoing the last phrase for good measure. “Sunshine on the street at the parade/But you would rather be in the dark ages/Makin’ that sign must’ve taken all night.” Swift has become more vocal about her politics over the past year or so, likely as a response to Donald Trump’s election. For the first time in her career, she endorsed not one but two political candidates, Tennessee Democrats Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper, while they were running for the US Senate and House of Representatives in 2018. We can’t help but wonder if she’ll make her voice heard in the next Presidential election as well. Of course, now that her feud with Perry is over, only one question remains: When can we expect her and Kim Kardashians to dress up like a couple of milkshakes and embrace on camera? Never? Never, ever, ever, ever ? Oh, okay then.
