In the throes of a season-long feud, Glanville went after her former BFF, Tweeting that Vanderpump “could BBQ a baby and people would think it was cute.” Vanderpump has yet to respond, but plenty of others have. Complaining that Cibrian (allegedly) asked her to pay child support for their two sons, Mason, 10, and Jake, 6, Brandi Glanville ranted about her ex: “2 all these young unmarried bloggers writing about getting over divorce & not seeing ur children grow up 1/2 the time, walk a mile in my shoes.” “I’m not taking cheap shots at my ex in my new book cuz it’s all true & now mr fancy new cars & house man is asking ME for child support ! U know nada.” “Everytime I take 1 step frwd [sic] I get a lawyers letter that takes me 3 steps back so when people say move on, I say 2 my ex LET ME! American Idol and Duck Dynasty returned to the airwaves last night, but the returns weren’t especially triumphant. Idol, for example, garnered 15 million total viewers, but only a 4.5 rating among 18-49-year olds, which set a record low for the series. This, despite America falling in love with Harry Connick, Jr. Harry Connick Jr. Dominates Idol Premiere Duck Dynasty Season 5 , meanwhile, introduced viewers to Rebecca Robertson. But the opener was down 3.5 million total households from its Season 4 premiere a year ago. Among the aforementioned key demographic, ratings fell by 33 percent. So this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member told the camera last night, as a major highlight of the latest installment entailed Carlton getting her fourth tattoo. Yes, this is the same woman who is building a sexy playroom and who saves spiders and who wore a shirt last night that exposed her cleavage to such a degree that Kim Kardashian likely thought it was too much. But, hey, at least Carlton is interesting. Not sure we can say the same about the rest of the ladies, starting with Kim Richards. She spent a lot of money on doggy boot camp, though it’s pretty clear she needs to be trained more than Kingsley does. Kyle and Joyce? They got a golf lesson and complained about Brandi. Snooooze! Haven’t we basically seen this before, just at a spa? Along other repetitive lines, Brandi can say dumb things and she also curses often. She’s also going through a lot, as Lisa and Yolanda keep telling everyone. But how much does being cheered on and losing one’s dog explain away bad behavior? At some point, you’ve gotta stop making excuses. Oh, and Joyce: you are a grown woman. You chose to be on reality television. Stop whining and playing the bullying victim. It’s ugly and annoying.
