Hi Hater: Former Obama Professor Says The President And His ‘Food Stamp Policy’ Politics Gotta Go

They smile in your face…. Former Professor of President Obama Not Supporting His Re-election Campaign In the latest NOBama news , a former professor of President Obama has come out of the woodwork to voice his non-support. One of President Obama’s former Harvard professors is calling for the president’s defeat in November, releasing a scathing video in which he accuses the president of abandoning America’s workers while pushing a policy of “food stamps.” The video by Brazilian scholar and politician Roberto Unger serves as an indictment of both parties. But in it, Unger says Obama must be defeated in order for the Democratic Party to restore itself “as the vehicle for the progressive alternative in the country.” Obama, he said, has not advanced that cause. “President Obama must be defeated in the coming election. He has failed to advance the progressive cause in the United States,” he said in the eight-minute video, titled “Beyond Obama.” Obama, when he attended Harvard, took two classes with Unger — Jurisprudence and Reinventing Democracy, according to David Remnick’s book “The Bridge: The Life and Rise of Barack Obama.” Unger continued to correspond with Obama via BlackBerry going into the presidential campaign, Remnick reported, though Unger said he never became Obama’s “friend” and kept his distance from the then-candidate out of concern that Unger’s own “leftist” leanings might do “harm” to Obama. All of these “food stamp” references are so unnecessary.  SMH. Source Image via Wenn

Maryse Ouellet Hoses Down The Bikini Body

I don’t know about you, but I happen to really enjoy French Canadian women, they’re just so exotic. Not exotic like Brazilian women or German strip clubs or anything like that, but exotic in the sense that they like to have their picture taken like pornstars. Here’s Maryse Ouellet hosing herself down in a very little bikini. Enough said. Did I mention she looks like she’s oiled herself up? Silly girl, oil and water don’t mix.

‘Bridesmaids’ Battle: A Movie Awards Funny Face-Off

Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, plus Jonah Hill, Zach Galifianakis and Oliver Cooper, vie for Best Comedic Performance this Sunday. By Kevin P. Sullivan Melissa McCarthy in “Bridesmaids” Photo: Universal We are now just five days away from the 21st annual MTV Movie Awards , when the fierce competition among the year’s best movies comes to an end and we find out who you picked to win it all. For your answers, you’ll have to tune in at 9 p.m. ET this Sunday, June 3. In the comedy categories, “Bridesmaids” and “21 Jump Street” lead a pack of outrageously funny movies with a ton of nominations, but when it comes to Best Comedic Performance, it’s every man and woman for themselves. Here’s our rundown of the Best Comedic Performance nominees: Jonah Hill, “21 Jump Street” Only one of this year’s nominees for Best Comedic Performance took a knife to the shoulder and didn’t even notice. For “21 Jump Street,” Hill was lean, mean and one of the worst movie cops we’ve ever seen. Yes, Schmidt and Jenko eventually brought down the high school’s drug ring, but watching them fail miserably along the way made for classic comedy. Kristen Wiig, “Bridesmaids” Comedy is hard enough when you have to take the words from a page and make them funny. Kristen Wiig did one better: She co-wrote the words on the page and then made them hilarious. As the fearless, unfortunate leader of one of last year’s biggest comedies, Wiig proved she is indeed ready for prime time, that she could lead a movie, and that you should never eat Brazilian before heading to a wedding-dress fitting. Melissa McCarthy, “Bridesmaids” The Melissa McCarthy people were familiar with before “Bridesmaids” was anything but her character, Megan. She typically played sweet, feminine characters, like Sookie on “Gilmore Girls.” For “Bridesmaids,” she stripped away everything from the recognizable McCarthy and became the national-security-obsessed puppy-hoarder and scene-stealer that earned every bit of an Academy Award nomination. Oliver Cooper, “Project X” You’ll never throw the biggest and best party of all time, unless you add an element of danger just to mix things up. For the three friends in “Project X,” Oliver Cooper’s Costa was that guy. He’s the one who will always have the perfectly timed sarcastic quip to pair with his sweater vest. Zach Galifianakis, “The Hangover Part II” He once was a lone wolf, but in the first “Hangover,” movie Alan found his wolf pack and roofied his way into America’s heart. For the second time around, we got even more Alan but a lot less hair. Even if “Hangover Part II” had the same story as “Part I,” more Alan is never a bad thing. Head over to MovieAwards.MTV.com to vote for your favorite flicks now! The 21st annual MTV Movie Awards air live this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET. Related Photos 2012 Movie Awards Presenters

What Would You Do? Facebook Co-Founder Eduardo Saverin Can Relinquish His U.S. Citizenship, Keep $67 Million And Never See His Family, Or Pay Up And Visit Whenever He Likes

What do you love more, your family or your fetti??? Mark Zuckerberg can skip sending an invite to Eduardo Saverin for any IPO parties. By relinquishing his American citizenship, the Facebook co-founder likely won’t be allowed back into the United States after the IRS and State Department look into his case, according to legal experts. “Anyone who relinquishes their citizenship always has a non-tax related reason why they’re giving (it) up,” Kehrela Hodkinson, a lawyer at the British firm Law Hodkinson Law Group, told the Daily News. “He would likely have a reason like, ‘I’m living in Singapore.’” The only penalty Saverin is likely to face is that he will be “inadmissable” to the United States. …Despite the outcry, there may be multiple advantages for the Brazilian-born Saverin — even if it means he can’t visit his family, who reside in the United States. According to reports, the young millionaire would net at least $67 million without his American ties. Decisions, decisions… Image via FoxNews Source Continue reading

Rohan Marley, Lauryn Hill’s Ex, Engaged to Isabeli Fontana!

Rohan Marley, the son of reggae legend Bob Marley and ex of Lauryn Hill, has gotten engaged to Brazilian Sports Illustrated model Isabeli Fontana. Fontana said the couple plans to wed in Ethiopia, where the Rastafarian movement was founded. According to Contact Music, she told Veja magazine: “Rohan told me we have to return to the roots so the marriage will last forever.” Fontana, 28, has been divorced twice, to model Alvaro Jacomossi and actor/model Henri Castelli. The model has a son from each of those marriages. Marley, 39, dated former Fugees singer Lauryn Hill, 36, from 1996-2011. Hill often referred to him as her husband, though their relationship status was never revealed until they broke up. The couple had five children together. He also has two children from his previous relationship with Geraldine Khawly, who he married during college and was still married to when he met Hill. He made headlines last year when it was reported that Marley left Hill for Fontana while Hill was pregnant with another child , allegedly to another man. “Contrary to the numerous reports, Mr. Marley did not abandon me while pregnant with his child. We have had long periods of separation over the years but our 5 children together remain a joy to both of us,” Hill said, refuting that rumor. Congrats to Rohan and Isabeli!

Eduardo Saverin, Facebook Co-Founder, Renounces U.S. Citizenship in Advance of IPO

Eduardo Saverin, the billionaire Facebook co-founder portrayed by Andrew Garfield in The Social Network , is no longer an American citizen. Saverin, 30, renounced the U.S. citizenship he gained as a teenager in advance of the company’s impending IPO, a move met with criticism. He’s accused of trying to skip out on taxes with the move, though the Brazilian-born resident of Singapore has done nothing illegal at any point. Eduardo Saverin co-founded Facebook at age 21, was forced out two years later, sued CEO Mark Zuckerberg and ultimately settled out of court. He was given a share of the company that left him phenomenally wealthy. His stake, 4 percent of the company, will most likely be worth more than $3 billion when Facebook goes public Friday. Hence his exit now. Saverin joins a growing number of people giving up U.S. citizenship , a move that can trim their tax liabilities when residing in lower-tax nations. Said Tom Goodman, a spokesman for Saverin, in an e-mailed statement: “Eduardo recently found it more practical to become a resident of Singapore since he plans to live there for an indefinite period of time.” He professes ignorance about his taxes and refuses to discuss his finances. “This had nothing to do with taxes,” he insisted. “I was born in Brazil, I was a U.S. citizen for about 10 years. I thought of myself as a global citizen.” Saverin renounced U.S. citizenship “around September”, according to his spokesman. Singapore doesn’t have a capital gains tax. It does tax income earned in that nation, as well as “certain foreign- sourced income,” according to reports. Saverin won’t escape all U.S. taxes. Americans who give up their citizenship owe what is effectively an exit tax on the capital gains from stock holdings. Renouncing your citizenship in advance of an IPO is “a very smart idea,” said one expert, “Once it’s public you can’t fool around with the value.” Saverin’s decision to leave could have been a wager that the cost of an exit tax now – 15 percent of whatever valuation he could get the IRS to agree to – would be far less than the 35 percent or more in estate tax his heirs would face.
