For the record, Kristen Stewart will NOT be appearing on the series finale of The Vampire Diaries. Don’t believe everything you read . Some of it is nutty. But here is something true about the actress that you may find surprising: She takes many layers of clothing off in the upcoming film Personal Shopper and she engages in some sex on screen. Stewart has never exactly shied away from being edgy, but she’s clearly come a very long way from The Twilight Saga as well. What did she think about her nudity in the movie? Was she at all scared to pretend to make love on screen? “I wasn’t apprehensive,” Stewart tells W Magazine about the role and all it entailed, adding: “I feel super great with director Olivier [Assayas], as well. The scenes in which I don’t have clothes on or the scenes that seem ‘risque’ from an outsider’s perspective, there was no acknowledgment on his part.” The movie was shot in Paris and was helmed by a French filmmaker, prompting the actress to note that Americans “are weirder” about sexuality than Europeans. It’s probably a valid point. “You kind of have to take yourself personally out of it,” she explains. “My personal feeling about that is that I’m really unashamed, but within the context of the story, there’s a lot of shame. “She lives and breathes f-cking shame and guilt. And so it’s kind of nice to see someone stripped and bare, totally bare.” Stewart went on to contend that sex scenes can be empowering for actresses, but also acknowledged the following: “There’s an aspect of sexuality in the movie that’s so lonely and that is just one of the saddest things.” Personal Shopper is described on IMDB as a “ghost story” that centers on the “fashion underworld in Paris.” Color us very intrigued. Stewart is front and center on the movie’s poster, as you can see here: “There’s just something so f-cking raw about it,” Stewart says of the role, expounding on female nudity in general: “I think people are way, way, way too precious about that.” The actress concludes: “I still want women’s bodies and the way they want to reveal them, it should be a precious thing, I don’t want to de-sexualize it in some way. But at the same time, I’m not weird about it. I’m pretty open. I think people are a little too f-cking weird about it, to be honest, but that’s kind of why I was like, ‘I’ll do it.”
Lena Dunham is never one to hold back with an opinion. The Girls writer, producer and creator is one of the more outspoken celebrities in Hollywood and she has a point to make when it comes to Kim Kardashian getting robbed at gunpoint in Paris this week. Are you ready to hear it? Speaking on Wednesday to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, Dunham referred to the act perpetrated against Kardashian as something that was “so awful.” The only thing worse, in a manner of speaking? Anyone making a quip at Kim’s expense this week. “What I really hate about this Kim thing is that people are feeling so much license to make jokes,” the 30-year-old star says. “That’s a human being.” It’s a similar point to the one James Corden made so clearly in a Tweet just hours after news of the robbery broke. Wrote the talk show host online at the time: It’s true. Think what you want about Kim Kardashian (any regular reader of The Hollywood Gossip knows that we have quite a few issues with the star), but do not dare to think that she somehow deserved this to happen to her. Don’t make light of the situation. Kardashian was bound and gagged by armed assailants in France early Monday morning. She begged for her life, telling the men that she had two little kids at home, and multiple sources have said Kardashian believed she was going to be raped . Can you possibly imagine being in that kind of situation?!? “You may not agree with everything she does, but that’s a woman and a mother and a daughter who just went through something so heinous,” Dunham added in the interview. “So, my heart is with Kim.” Amen, Lena. Preach on! According to TMZ insiders, Kardashian doesn’t take the blame for this horrible crime or anything. But she does acknowledge that flaunting her wealth as often as she has done on social media isn’t a great idea. Sources tell the website that Kim will take a few weeks off from posting at all… and when she does return to Twitter and/or Instagram, it will be with a far more subdued presence. Don’t expect her to share photos of her jewelry anymore or even promote her fashion line as often. “Material things mean nothing,” she has allegedly told friends behind the scenes since the robbery took place, finally realizing: “It’s not all about the money. It’s not worth it.” Karl Lagerfeld Blames Kim Kardashian for Robbery An investigation remains ongoing. Some are wondering whether the robbery was an inside job, others are pointing at the concierge, who was tied up with Kim in the bathroom of her apartment. He was especially calm under such duress, insiders claim, and he was eventually left unharmed in the lobby. Might he have been in on the whole thing? Elsewhere in her interview, Dunham touches on controversial remarks she made this summer about Odell Beckham Jr . “It seemed like I was accusing him of some kind of misogyny,” she said, adding that she inadvertently added to negative stereotypes and saying: “It was a great lesson to me in how your humor can be misconstrued. In the written word, it did not translate… I apologized immediately, I apologized to him privately.” Watch Dunham’s full interview below: Lena Dunham on The Breakfast Club
Anthony Michael Hall is back at it again. The 48-year-old actor has a knack for arguing with his neighbors and getting in trouble with the law due to it. Back in 2011, Hall was booked by the LAPD after getting in an argument with a neighbor. Tensions flared when the neighbor found Anthony started ripping up plants in the common area of the complex. This was not met with the best response from the neighbor, who went home and called the cops. The plot thickened when Anthony had the audacity to challenge the neighbor to a fight. This should be one of those mistakes you learn from. Right? Well, apparently Anthony never thought that. Fast forward five years and he’s still causing fights with neighbors . The latest incident involved Anthony causing harm to a neighbor for leaving a gate opened. Yes, you read that correctly. He melted down and attacked the man. It was all caught on CCTV and we can’t quite believe we’re reporting on it. The man was left with a broken wrist and hurt back. This is all pretty bizarre, but it’s also pretty clear that Anthony should not be living with anyone around him. View Slideshow: 18 STUNNING Celebrity Confessions The dude obviously has a short temper and that’s not good when he shares the complex with other residents. Maybe he should do the residents a favor and move somewhere far away. There’s a thought! Anthony was a teen star in the 80s, appearing in the likes of The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles. More recently, he starred in TNT’s Murder in the First in a recurring role. What do you think about all of this? Should he just move out of the block to save face? Hit the comments below!
