Wale clears the air… Wale Responds To Rumors That He Slept With Rihanna Earlier this month, there was a rumor swirling around that MMG rapper Wale was making love faces with Roc Nation songstress Rihanna , with a picture of them in the studio and some very shady DMs fueling the fire. Wale recently stopped by Power 105 radio’s Breakfast Club morning show while in NYC and addressed the rumor: On how he responded to the rumor of he and Rihanna sleeping together: “I was like ‘It got real…’ Just know it turned into a real thing. And I was like, ‘This is gonna mess up my potential working relationships’. You gotta be a sick individual to do that. What if I was in a committed relationship? I’m honest w/ my joints though. The thing about Rihanna is her realness. I can’t be really cool with a lot of girls. When you have a friend like that, that got more than you, you just gotta appreciate the friendship. You gon’ smoke alot, you gon’ chill, you gon’ dance, it’s gonna be a movie around you. You cant try and smash everything. You gotta have some platonic friends.” Hmmmm. We can’t help but wonder if maybe Wale TRIED to smash and Rih gave him a “hell to the naw.” Guess we’ll never know. Anywho, good for him for not thirsting after every chick he comes across.
