There’s few things I love more in this world than busty British reality stars. And here’s one of my favorites Pascal Craymer pulling a move right out of Hot Nobody 101: forgetting to wear a bra to some lame photo op and making us all pretend to care about the grand opening of some random beauty salon in Essex. Well played, Pascal. Well played. Photos: WENN.com Continue reading →
Tom Hiddleston has to prepare for the Emmys later this month, but instead he has to deal with his seemingly high-maintenance girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The Night Manager star is an A-Lister in his own right, but his romance with Swift has put him into a different category of fame, and one he’s not exactly pleased with. “Tom can’t deal with being a laughing stock and has told Taylor he’s done unless there’s a 360-degree change on her part,” a source told Radar Online. “It’s become a total charade and Tom is sick of being treated like a glorified escort.” To be fair, Hiddleston looked to be enjoying himself over Fourth of July weekend, splashing around in the surf wearing an “I Heart T.S.” tank top. So, Swift could be forgiven for thinking she’s got the upper hand in this relationship. Hiddleston is filming Thor: Ragnarok in Australia, but he’s reportedly been flying all over the world at the 26-year-old’s request. “Tom is just done with it,” the source added. “It bothers him so much that they’ve become known as this fauxmance laughing stock.” Hiddleston attempted to the do the grown-up thing and confirm his relationship with Swift back in July. After learning he was nominated for Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie, the British actor agreed to do press. View Slideshow: Tom Hiddleston: 8 Things to Know About Taylor Swift’s New Bae The Hollywood Reporter skirted around the question until finally asking if he and Swift were the real deal, and what he had to say to those who though their romance was just for show. “Well, um. How best to put this?” Hiddleston started politely, as most Brits do. “That notion is — look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking. That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.” Hiddleston had to expect this kind of attention when he and Swift started dating after the MET Ball back in May. Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston: Dance Off! Swift did not attend the MTV Video Music Awards on August 28th, but it’s believed that she will accompany to the Emmys on September 18th. A source told THG recently that the reason Hiddleston and Swift got together was because the Brit “needed to improve his pulling power , and [her] PR team decided to take advantage of that in a way that would also benefit Taylor. “Tom is the ‘it’ man right now, so they thought that it would work,” the source added. “Taylor is an attractive girl with a big bank account and a lot of fame.” How did Hiddleston see dating Swift as a great image boost, while the rest of of us saw it as career suicide? Drake will dive back into his flair for the cinematic with ‘Please Forgive Me,’ a short film out September 30 that’s a joint effort between the rapper and renowned music video impresario Anthony Mandler.
We're equal opportunity offenders truth-tellers here at The Hollywood Gossip. So, because we previously documented the large number of terrible celebrity mothers out there ., it's only fair that we now turn things around and ask: Who is the worst famous father in Hollywood? Unfortunately (for their kids), there are a number of contenders for this dishonor. Click through the nominees below and decide on the most dismal of all these dads… 1. Jon Gosselin In August of 2016, Gosselin admitted that he hasn’t seen some of his kids in years. Said daughter Mady about her dad: “He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen.” 2. Charlie Sheen When he isn’t going on bizarre rants, doing drugs or leaving his children in the custody of Denise Richards, he’s letting them hang out with porn stars. Sorry, Charlie, but you’re LOSING as a father. 3. Matthew Knowles Matthew Knowles was fired at his daughter’s manager in 2011 because Beyonce suspected her dad of stealing from her. That’s pretty darn bad. He also fathered a child out of wedlock while married to Beyonce’s mom, Tina. 4. Woody Allen In February 2014, Woody Allen’s adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, published a New York Times piece alleging the famous director molested her when she was seven years old. Few people are on Woody’s side in this debate. 5. Scott Disick Scott Disick certainly seems to care about partying and drinking more than spending time with his children. He didn’t even attend his daughter’s third birthday party, according to reports. 6. Michael Lohan Michael Lohan has practically been arrested more times than his daughter. That’s a tragically impressive feat. He’s a terrible influence. View Slideshow
Oops, James Corden has done it again! The Late Late Show host has conducted yet another version of Carpool Karaoke, doing it this time with the unoffiical, all-time Queen of Pop Music: Britney Spears! Aside from just singing many of Britney's smash hits with the artist, Corden posed a few pressing questions to Britney. He asked about the origins of “Oops I Did It Again.” He asked what it's like for Britney's kids to see her dance all sexy. He asked what her hotel alias names are. At one point, Corden dressed up like a Catholic School Girl. And we may be the same ever again as a result. Does Spears want more children? Yes. But does she want to get married again? No. Among the tracks covered by Spears and Corden? “Toxic,” “Womanizer,” “Make Me,” and “Baby One More Time.” Elsewhere during the fun ride, Corden admitted to once seeing his mother in her underwear when he was a child and being unable to “shake the image from my brain.” Spears playfully slapped him in response, telling the British talk show host, “You’re so dirty!” From there, they talked about bondage and tickling, as well as the fake name Anita Dick.” Wait… what?!? You'll need to watch the following video to understand. Carpool Karaoke, of course, has become one of the most popular segments on late-night television. Past participants have included Jennifer Lopez, Adele, Justin Bieber and Michelle Obama. Check out Britney Spears taking part in it now:
After six successful season, Downton Abbey may be over, but that doesn’t mean its characters stopped existing. While series creator Julianne Fellowes prepares for the Emmy Awards ( Downton is nominated in two categories ), he spoke to Deadline Hollywood at The London Hotel in West Hollywood about the impact his show has had on the American audience. Fellowes is quite proud of the way he wrapped the British series. Instead of leaving viewers hanging as he’s done in the past, Fellowes ended things on a high note. “I feel that if an audience has been loyal to you for six years, they deserve to go away from the last episode feeling good,” he said. “And Edith, especially, deserved a happy ending. I had teased people, with the end of the series before the Christmas special—with once again, it had all gone wrong. But it came right in the end, and I wanted her to outrank Mary.” Edith had fallen in love with a man who ended up inheriting a Marquess title from his late cousin, making Edith a Marchioness, which meant she ranked higher in the British aristocratic hierarchy than Mary, who was only a Lady. Don’t worry about Mary, though. “It’s never “poor Mary,” Fellowes insists. “She would survive the 1917 Revolution. She’d become a Commissar.” What sort of life does Fellowes’ leading lady live post- Downton ? “My own belief is that Mary, whether you like her or dislike her, is a hard worker, and she’s practical. I think she will employ the kind of advice that she needs,” Fellowes predicts. “She would probably have opened the house to the public in the 1960s, as so many of them did, and she’d have retreated to a wing, and maybe only occupied the whole house during the winter.” Many families with stately homes opted to open their doors to the public, treating the estate as a sort of museum. The money raised from admission fees would then help to keep up with the costs of running a place such as Downton Abbey. “My own belief is the Crawleys would still be there, just as the Carnarvons are today [in the real Highclere Castle, where Downton was filmed],” Fellowes said. “George [Mary’s son] would have gone to the Second World War, and of course the fear is that he would be killed. “We know that Mary is pregnant, so there’s going to be another child. “As for the title, I don’t know where it would go beyond George, but let’s hope he gets through the war and has children of his own,” Fellowes continued. “George was born in 1921, which makes him nine years younger than my father, and he only died in 1999. If he lived to the same age as my father, he’d have died in 2008, which takes us right into the modern age.” Well, there’s seasons 7-10 right there. Somewhere on the Highclere estate, Lady Mary’s great-great granddaughter is sneaking a cigarette with her equally naughty friends. Downton Abbey Cast Performs Scene in American Accents
Kenny Baker, a British actor you may not recognize but whose work you know VERY well, died on Saturday after battling a lengthy illness. He was 81 years old. Standing at just 3 feet and 8 inches tall, Baker starred in six Star Wars films as the iconic character of R2-D2. The actor’s niece, Abigail Shield, confirmed this sad news to The Guardian, paying tribute to her relative as follows: “It was expected, but it’s sad nonetheless. He had a very long and fulfilled life. He brought lots of happiness to people and we’ll be celebrating the fact that he was well loved throughout the world. “We’re all very proud of what he achieved in his lifetime.” Baker rose to fame in 1977 when he first appeared on screen as this beloved robot. He then returned for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, as well as the three Star Wars prequels from 1999 to 2005. Baker also has roles in a number of other popular films in the 1980s, including The Elephant Man, Time Bandits and Flash Gordon. “When he was a child, he was told that he probably wouldn’t survive through puberty. Being a little person in those times, they didn’t have a very good life expectancy,” Shield told The Guardian on Saturday. “He did extremely well in his life. He was very ill for the last few years, so we had been expecting it. “He had been looked after by one of his nephews, who found him on Saturday morning.” She concluded: “He had problems with his lungs and was often in a wheelchair. He was very poorly for a long time. He was asked to go out to L.A. for the new Star Wars premiere, but he was told he was too ill to travel. “Luckily, he did manage to meet George Lucas again when he came to Manchester.” This news hits just as the first Rogue One trailer went viral toward the end of last week. Take a look at it below: Rogue One Trailer: “Star Wars Story” Goes Back in Time to Reign of Vader We can’t thank Baker enough for his contributions to the most beloved film franchise in history. We hope he is resting in peace. The same, of course, goes for all of the celebrities who have passed away this year.
