Let’s see how other celebs fared in rehab in 2010: Demi Lovato In November, amid rumors of alcohol use and aggressive behavior, Demi Lovato checked into a treatment center “for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” her rep told MTV News in a statement at the time. “Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that.” Since entering the facility in Woodridge, Illinois, Lovato’s reps confirmed that the 18-year-old will be touring in 2011 to promote her solo album , and over the holiday, Lovato was spotted spending time with her family . Lindsay Lohan Since it’s the new year and all, a time for fresh starts and positive outlooks and such, we’re going to set aside the fact that Lindsay Lohan is about to complete her sixth trip to rehab and instead focus on the positive, beginning with a promising tweet on New Year’s Day: “Today is the first day of the rest of my life,” she wrote before quoting spiritual icon Mahatma Ghandi’s message that, “The future depends on what we do in the present.” Lohan’s always-outspoken father Michael told CBS News that he has high hopes that this year will be Lindsay’s best. “She’s turned this whole situation around to use this to her advantage and she has taken the right steps and put the right people back in her life that she had at the best part of her life to really use it as a springboard,” Lohan said. Charlie Sheen Another repeat rehabber, Charlie Sheen checked himself in for a third time as “a preventative measure” early last year. Since completing his stint, Sheen’s road to recovery has been a bit rocky. He was hospitalized in October after suffering an “adverse” reaction to prescription medicine and the following month he announced plans to divorce wife Brooke Mueller . But speed bumps and all, the 45-year-old actor still has a job on CBS’ “Two and a Half Men” and is reportedly the highest-paid actor on television, bringing in around $2 million an episode. Tiger Woods For being one of 2010’s biggest newsmakers, Tiger Woods has definitely attempted to keep the lowest profile possible. The golf superstar’s seemingly untarnishable image was shattered following a 2009 Thanksgiving car crash and the world’s subsequent discovery of his multiple infidelities. Woods checked in to a treatment program for sexual addiction in early 2010, and aside from one heavily hyped press conference, he has not discussed his indiscretions further. One bright spot in his difficult year — which, in addition to the public scandal, led to Woods losing several endorsement deals — was a solemn, black-and-white Nike commercial that featured a voice-over from Woods’ late father. “Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive to promote discussion,” Earl Woods is heard saying in the ad. “I want to find out what your thinking was.
