Kelly Clarkson Accused of Diva Behavior on The Voice

It seems like just yesterday that we were hearing who won Season 13 of The Voice , but Season 14 will be here before you know it. This year, Kelly Clarkson is joining the The Voice as one of the coaches. But … apparently things aren’t all smiles behind the scenes. In fact, a report claims that Clarkson is a total diva backstage and almost impossible to work with. 35-year-old Kelly Clarkson first rose to fame on the inaugural season of American Idol . From her humble, “white trash” beginnings — her words — she skyrocketed to stardom with a successful music career. As much as fans hate when Kelly Clarkson says stupid things , they love to see her shut down body-shamers  in a very down-to-earth way. Mostly, they love her music. Now, she’s joining Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Alicia Keys as a coach on The Voice . But, according to RadarOnline ‘s source, Kelly Clarkson’s alleged diva behavior is causing some tensions and unhappiness and the season hasn’t even begun to air. Apparently, there are a number of problems. “She’s not the person that everyone thought she was going to be.” Based upon Kelly Clarkson’s branding, people probably expected a down-to-earth, minimal-nonsense singer with humble roots who is hesitant to bash anyone. And the source gets pretty specific about what they got instead. “She is bossy and argumentative.” Apparently some of the problems began before she even walked in the door. “The other judges, especially Blake, already had an issue with her.” That issue, it seems, was financial in nature. “Because of the amount of money they reportedly paid her to join the cast.” But it goes beyond the bottom line and extends to promos. “One of the main issues is that producers are making Kelly a central focus on everything.” This sounds familiar. “And she is also taking center stage on all of the promos that are being shot so far.” You know how Kate Mulgrew was famously unhappy with how Jeri Ryan become front-and-center on every billboard and ad for Star Trek: Voyager back in the ’90s? This sounds like that same kind of resentment — but with personality issues to make things personal. The source goes on to list Kelly Clarkson’s other alleged grating habits. “She comes in when she wants to.” Oooh, that’s never good. And very diva. “She seems to think that it is all one big game.” I mean, it is literally a talent competition. It’s a game. (But we get their meaning, here — her alleged behavior is unprofessional to an off-putting degree) “At the same time, she is overly certain that she will win this season.” Cavalier and cocky at the same time? Yikes. “Of course Blake is irritated with Kelly! Everyone is.” Blake’s come up more than once, perhaps because we’ve heard some things about Blake Shelton’s alleged diva behavior , too. It sounds like they both need a dose of reality. They’re on The Voice . Nobody gets to put on airs when they’re judging a reality series. No matter how much they’re getting paid.

Kardashian Family to Kylie Jenner: We HATE the Name Stormi!

If you’ve been anywhere near an internet-enabled device in the past few days, then you’re no doubt aware that Kylie Jenner has welcomed her first child . While she remained secretive throughout her pregnancy, Kylie has been surprisingly candid in the days since she became a mom. We’ve already seen the first photo of Kylie’s daughter . We know that the little girl is named Stormi. And now we’ve learned that Kylie’s family hates that goofy name just as much as the rest of the internet does. “Kylie’s family thinks that Stormi is a ridiculous name to begin with, but Kylie does not care!” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. In fairness to Kylie, the criticism is a bit unexpected coming from the family that previously gave us such unusual monikers as North, Saint, Chicago, and Reign. “They just think that it sounds too depressing and it isn’t fit for a little girl,” the insider adds. Kylie apparently knew the name would be criticized and she simply didn’t care. As for the rumor that she was inspired by Stormy Daniels , the porn star who became a household name as a result of Donald Trump’s latest sex scandal, insiders claim it’s demonstrably untrue. Footage shot during her pregnancy will reportedly prove that Kylie chose the name several months ago, before the Daniels accusations came to light. “They wanted something original that no one has, which is why she went with Stormi,” the source says. And it seems it’s not just Stormi’s first name that’s got Kris Jenner and company upset. The family is reportedly peeved by Kylie’s decision to name her child Stormi Webster  to honor the original name of the girl’s father, Travis Scott. “Kylie and Kris had it out over the selection of her baby’s name and Kris was appalled that she is using Travis’s original last name for everything and not including Jenner at all on Stormi’s birth certificate,” says the source. It does seem strange that someone as status-obsessed as Kylie wouldn’t bestow her very famous last name upon her child. But then again, it’s not like little Stormi Webster will ever want anything. Which is good, because she’s in for a lifetime of jokes about Emmanuel Lewis becoming a meteorologist. View Slideshow: Stormi?!? The Internet is Here to Laugh Over Kylie Jenner’s Baby Name

Richard Pryor and Marlon Brando: Yup, They Had Sex!

Richard Pryor died in 2005. Marlon Brando died in 2004. Yet the former iconic comedian and legendary actor are in the news this week for one unexpected reason: They apparently had sex… with each other! This surprising connection was first mentioned by Quincy Jones in a wide-ranging interview with Vulture, during which the music producer said the following of Brando: “He was the most charming motherf-cker you ever met. He’d f-ck anything. Anything! “He’d f–k a mailbox. James Baldwin. Richard Pryor. Marvin Gaye.” Naturally, such a statement got the Internet talking and wondering about the film star, who won two Academy Awards and is considered by some to be the best actor of all-time. Just a few hours after this quote went viral, though, Pryor’s widow came out and put an end to the speculation. She actually confirmed the sexual relationship! Said Jennifer Lee to TMZ when asked about the rumored dalliance: “It was the ’70s! Drugs were still good, especially quaaludes. If you did enough cocaine, you’d f-ck a radiator and send it flowers in the morning.” Well… okay then! Pryor’s widow added that Pryor would find it hilarious that Jones spilled these beans if he were alive today and that he had no shame about his bisexuality. Pryor and Lee were married in the early 1980s and again in 2001; they were together up until the stand-up’s death in 2005. Altogether, Pryor was married to five different woman and had seven children. Brando, meanwhile, was married three times and fathered 11 children. They may have carried on an affair with each other at one point, but they very much got around overall. That much is clear. Back in 1976, speaking to a French journalist, Brando happily opened up about his sexuality. “Like a large number of men, I, too, have had homosexual experiences, and I am not ashamed,” he said at the time, adding: “I have never paid much attention to what people think about me. But if there is someone who is convinced that Jack Nicholson and I are lovers, may they continue to do so. “I find it amusing.”  So it sounds like he would also be amused by Jones telling the world about his banging of Pryor. To put this in context, for those unfamiliar with Richard Pryor and Marlon Brando and the levels of fame each achieved back in the 1960s and 1970s: This news would be akin to learning that Jerry Seinfeld had slept with Tom Hanks. Hence the reaction across social media in response to Pryor’s widow’s admission. The confirmation even reached actor Don Cheadle, for instance, who joked on Twitter when asked if he had slept with any male celebrities: “nah. that’s not my thing. but if it was, yeah, brando back in the day could get it.” In his chat with Vulture, meanwhile, Jones also said he knows who killed John F. Kennedy and said he once dated Ivanka Trump. In other words: this Pryor/Brando bombshell may have been the least interesting part of his Q&A!

Celebrity Big Brother Recap: Omarosa Forms an All-Female Alliance!

From the moment Julie Chen introduced us to the Celebrity Big Brother house, it was clear this was going to be a season like no other.  Julie wasted no time in introducing us to the houseguests. They are Metta World Peace, Ariadna Guiterrez, Ross Mathews, Brandi Glanville Mark McGrath, Omarosa, Marissa Jaret Winokur, James Maslow, Keshia Knight Pulliam, and Shannon Elizabeth. Yeah, it’s clear the producers scraped the bottom of the barrel with some of them, but Omarosa made it clear from the get-go that she was in the house to play.  Her dress was just too much, but it showed she did not care about what the others thought of her. Omarosa wanted to have an all-female alliance to get the men out.  In doing so, it revealed a glaring flaw in the format. There were six females and five males when the season kicked off. It’s certainly an odd number.  Before Brandi entered the house, her stylist said she would need to keep her mouth shut, or she ran the risk of becoming an early target. She did not take that to heart and immediately started dragging James Maslow for speaking about his vocal range.  Brandi felt like Mark McGrath should have been speaking about vocal range because he was in the business for a longer time. This rattled James, who told Mark he needed to win HOH and put up Brandi.  Omarosa spoke to Shannon about creating an alliance with the ladies, and it became a reality a few scenes later. The men were too busy messing around to notice the women becoming a force to be reckoned with.  At the HOH competition, Omarosa won immunity from the first eviction, and it allowed her to step out of the competition for the week.  The houseguests had to hold on to a supersized award for dear life. The women dominated the competition, and it came down to James and Shannon.  James was visibly struggling and tried to cut a deal with Shannon to keep him safe, but Omarosa interjected, saying that James was close to falling so a deal would be unfair to Shannon.  In a confessional, Omarosa dished that she knew she did not want to align with James and that’s why she shut down the dealmaking during the competition.  Shannon won the first HOH of the season, but Julie dropped a bomb of epic proportions on the houseguests. They all had to pick a gift that would have some Big Brother swag or a game-changing twist.  That twist would allow the lucky recipient to overthrow the HOH and become the one in power for that week. James knew the odds were stacked against him, but the episode concluded before we got down to it.  What did you think of the opener? Will you continue watching? Hit the comments below! Big Brother Recap: Who Is The Villain?

Big Brother Season 19 has been the worst season of the CBS ratings juggernaut, and part of the blame has got to go on the inclusion of Paul Abrahamian.  But then there is the sheer stupidity of some of the other housemates. Alex and Jason are a strong duo, so it was obvious they were going to be targeted sooner rather than later.  We picked up with the Head of Household competition, and it quickly became apparent that something was different about the dynamic. We then got to see flashbacks of Paul, Josh, and Christmas realizing it was time to attack.  They wanted everyone to throw the competition so that one of them could win and take a shot at Jason or Alex. Paul then basically threatened Kevin to throw the competition.  That would then allow Alex to drop out and in return, Raven would do the same thing. Paul stressed to Kevin that he was safe, while Alex was under the impression Kevin would be put up as the replacement nominee.  For some reason, Alex hates Kevin and wants nothing more than to see him going out of the game while she sits with a smug look on her face. The CBS edits make Alex look like an angel.  Over on the feeds, it is an entirely different story. She says some outlandish things about her fellow houseguests, and it’s pretty sad.  In the end, Josh let Christmas win the HOH competition, which was pretty crazy when you consider her ailment and that it was a running contest.  Somehow, the houseguests are intent on breaking the rules this season.  Christmas questioned whether it would be a good idea to draw a line in the sand quickly as opposed to having back and forth all week. That way, they would respect her honesty.  The Tree of Temptation returned, and nobody took anything from it. Jason and Alex are going to be so pissed when they watch the season back.  Christmas went with nominating Jason and Alex, and it seemed like Jason had a sudden realization that he is the target. Alex continued to act dumb by saying she trusted Christmas and felt that there was a bigger plan at play.  Sigh.  Just hand Paul the money and let it be over. This is just getting more and more tiring to watch. It’s time to stop bringing the veterans back. This will mark two seasons in a row that a veteran has won.  What do you think about all of this? Big Brother Recap: Who Betrayed Three Houseguests?

At the beginning of the season, the best course of action inside the Big Brother house is to lay low and not create any waves.  Unfortunately, Josh did not think like that and opted to betray several houseguests, proving he’s untrustworthy. For viewers, it was evident he could not get to grips with the pressure cooker that is Big Brother.  The paranoia was getting to him, and it was pretty sad to watch him self-destruct on the screen like that. Here’s the thing: Cody would have likely welcomed him into his alliance, but now he knows better than to trust him.  At the Head of Household competition, former winner, Nicole Franzel returned to host, and everyone was freaking out about it. Well, everyone aside from Kevin who played dumb and implied he did not know she was.  The competition found the houseguests in teams of four, swinging across ropes to garner apples for their respective teams. Nicole revealed that there was an apple for safety for the sole houseguest who decided to take it.  Josh was the person who decided to screw up his team members, and it resulted in an unexpected feud between him and Megan. The funny thing about all of it was that Megan was not even on his team.  So, while he was on the outs with the rest of his team, he tried to throw the target Megan’s way and revealed that she said they should get a strong man out of the house.  For what it’s worth, Megan is right, but she should not have said that in earshot of the other houseguests. She was called out in front of the house twice, and she teared up about it.  The HOH competition came down to Paul and Cody. Both men agreed to keep the other safe. As expected, Cody emerged with the win and quickly revealed to viewers he was not planning on staying loyal to Paul.  His reasons seemed to stem from his first class social game, and he genuinely has a point. Cody quickly rallied up a team that included Mark and Matt. That meant they were going the predictable route of having an all-male first alliance in the house.  Megan already figured a male alliance was beginning to form, thus, making the target around her bigger. She failed to change things up when she spoke to Cody about his plans.  Cody is making mistakes already. He is not associating with anyone aside from his alliance members, and that’s going to be problematic when someone outside his alliance winds up in power.  Aside from that, the other small alliance seems to be falling apart. With Megan and Jillian placed on the block, the chances of both of them escaping it seem unlikely.  Their only saving grace will be if Cody decides to throw Paul up on the block if the opportunity arises. Things are getting interesting, but there are just too many people in the house to get a good read on people.  What do you think of it all so far? Sound off below! Big Brother Recap: Shocks, Returns & Fights

When players return to the game, it makes for a huge change in the dynamics of the house. Victor Aroyo fought his way back into the game just a few weeks ago.  He was understandably a bit annoyed at being blindsided once again from the game. If anyone deserves to be there, it’s Victor.  He’s a competition and social beast. That’s why James ultimately made the decision to oust him from the game. James’ decision to evict him would have been a good one if there was no way he was returning to the game.  We picked up with the houseguests at the HOH/Juror competition. There’s no denying the wall competitions are the toughest on the show.  Da’vonne and Zakiyah clearly made a pact before the competition that they would drop together and that they did. the practically threw their chance at the $500,000 prize away.  Da’vonne returning to the game would signal a huge shift. She would be targeting the likes of Nicole and Corey for eviction.  It’s just a shame she and Zakiyah decided to ride out the rest of their Big Brother experience in the jury house. Poor Bridgette was the final girl standing, but it was clear her knee was still busted from her injury a few weeks ago.  That left it all down to Victor and Paulie to fight it out. Eventually, Paulie had to drop down and it meant Victor was the returning juror.  No one has ever returned to the game twice in one season, so the dude is now on his third attempt at the money. The other houseguests should just give up at this stage.  We were treated to a flashback from before Thursday’s live eviction. Paul called Michelle the c-word and it was meant with a harsh response from their fellow houseguests.  Meech decided to be the bigger person and just walk out of the situation, while James went to battle with Paul. Paul was quick to point out that Natalie and James make all of the same decisions.  Natalie chimed in, saying that she didn’t want Bridgette evicted and it happened on James’ HOH. James then dropped the bomb that he’s not made a decision about evicting Corey.  Nicole was furious and told Corey she was worried about whether she would be alone in the game after the eviction. Corey reassured her and as we know, James kept his word.  If you recall, he almost sent Corey home at the live vote, so his mind wasn’t really made up until he went in to vote.  This gave Nicole the want to succeed, so she went all out in the HOH competition and even indulged in some manipulating.  It came down to Nicole and James and she managed to get James to throw it to her. She promised both him and Natalie safety for the week.  She made it seem like all she wanted was the letter from home, but it was clear she knew she needed to win to keep both her and Corey safe from eviction.  James dropped down, giving Nicole her first HOH win of the season. It also makes me wonder whether Nicole has been throwing competitions all season long in order to appear as less of a target.  If that’s the case, she might find herself winning the whole thing. She’s not sat on the block once this season and has had a hand in most of the evictions.  Maybe Derrick gave her some pointers before she entered the game. We’ll probably never know.  Nicole was quick to tell Corey she might not keep her word to James. She knows James never stuck to his earlier in the season, so she has a great case to put him up.  Nicole then claimed the best person to evict is Michelle and Corey agreed. Heck, even Victor and Paul showed up to agree she was the best target.  That’s when the four of them made an alliance that would take them to the end of the season. It seems like Nicole and Corey are happy to play for third and fourth place.  They just don’t want people who don’t deserve it to get further. That’s a good mentality to take.  View Slideshow: 12 Big Brother Houseguests We Loved… Or Loved to Hate The Final Four alliance was formed, while Natalie continued to pester James about him finding away to save both of them.  Yes, Natalie was not impressed that James gave Nicole the win because she doesn’t trust her. James made it clear that Nicole would stick to her word.  It seems like she might, to an extent. Paul agreed to go up on the block, with Michelle as the target. Nicole’s ideal scenario would be for Victor to win and take Paul down.  That would pave the way for either James or Natalie to go up and one of them would be evicted. It all sounds pretty intriguing.  It’s odd that Nicole is now going back to the person we loved on Big Brother 16. It’s so close to the end of the game, so it would be great to see her get far if she continues to play.  America’s care package was a bit of a wet blanket this week. Corey won $5000 to bribe on of his houseguests to do something.  It would be valid right up to the conclusion of the next HOH competition. It would be great if he got someone to throw the HOH, but there’s a slim chance anyone would agree to do that.  Nicole nominated Michelle and Paul for eviction.  Michelle admitted afterwards that she would have done the same if she was Nicole. She’s been targeting her for weeks.  What do you think about the latest developments in the house? Is Nicole right to target Michelle? Hit the comments below! Megyn Kelly Cracks Up Over Donald Trump, We Can’t Blame Her

Megyn Kelly tried, and failed to keep a straight face while discussing Donald Trump's Wednesday town hall in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Fox News anchor was a target last August when Trump disliked her questions, and after insinuated that she was probably on her period (oh yes, and he called her a “bimbo” on Twitter). Though they buried the hatchet in May, but the Republican nominee brought it up again on Wednesday night. “I meant her nose or her ears or her mouth,” Trump said to a roaring crowd. “But these people are perverted and they think it was another location. Unbelievable. I cut it short ― because I was talking about either taxes or economic development, so I said, ‘or wherever.’ And I wanted to get back on the subject. I should have finished it out, I would have been much better. So they lied.” When the camera cut back to Kelly, she was visibly embarrassed that the issue was brought up at all. “What is he doing? Relitigating every controversy from the primary season?” Kelly said. Another controversial issue Trump rehashed was the time he made fun of New York Times reporter Serege Kovaleski. Kovaleski suffers from arthrogryposis, which limits the functioning of his joints. “I won’t make the motions because if I do, they’ll say something, you know,” Trump said, referring to his mimicking Kovaleski's disability. But wait!  Trump is very good to the disabled!  “Nobody’s better to people with disabilities than me. I spend millions and millions of dollars on buildings taking care of people with disabilities,” he claimed. In the video, Kelly – who had two guests on the segment, one of whom is a Trump supporter – mentioned that federal law requires buildings to be wheelchair accessible. “But they’re very expensive in his buildings, Megyn, let me tell you,” the Trump supporter joked. Watch the segment to see why Kelly couldn't contain herself.
