Poor baby … Authorities in South Carolina have identified the toddler who was found abandoned on a stranger’s doorstep with a note on her diaper that read “Call DFAC” or Division of Family and Child Services, and arrested her parents. After four days of investigating, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said that the child is 4-year-old Zoe Brown of Marietta, Ga. Brown’s parents — 31-year-old Alonzo Brown and 37-year-old Tongela Denise McBride — were arrested Friday night on charges of unlawful neglect of a child. Chad McBride, the public information office for the Anderson County Sherriff’s Office, said that having the girl’s story shared through social media and the news media helped lead to the discovery of the toddler’s identify and the arrest of her parents. According to Chad McBride, who is not related to Denise McBride, posts on the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page featuring Zoe Brown’s picture were shared more than 2 million times. “Just putting the story out there and all over the country, it was the media that led to the individuals that called us,” McBride said. “For a couple days we didn’t have anything.” Zoe Brown was found on a resident’s doorstep late Tuesday night in her stroller wearing a shirt adorned with the phrase “Auntie Loves Me.” Roy Campbell, the home’s owner, told the Independent Mail newspaper of Anderson that he found Zoe Brown after he heard the doorbell ring, but didn’t see anyone at the door. “I heard the neighbor’s dogs barking so I went around the back of the house to see if they might have gone there,” Campbell told the Independent Mail. “When I didn’t see anyone, I went back to the front door and noticed that there was a baby in the stroller.” After Campbell found the girl, the police were immediately called and she was taken to a local hospital where doctors determined she was in good health, authorities said. Although she is 4 years old, Zoe Brown wears clothes made for a 24-month-old and has scars on her chest and neck that are consistent with past heart surgery, McBride said. The girl is currently in a foster home under the care of the South Carolina Department of Social Services. McBride said she will remain there until the DSS can determine whether there is a family member who can provide her with a safe environment. We hope they find a home and a family who can love little Zoe unconditionally like she deserves. Clearly, her ain’t isht parents are not worthy.

Chris Brown was in court Friday to answer accusations that he violated probation by falsifying community service records , but the case was postponed. The D.A. believes Brown may not have properly completed the community labor requirement of his felony assault sentence for beating Rihanna in ’09. Attorney Mark Geragos was seen smiling, his arm around Brown, as he and his client emerged from the judge’s chambers after a 25-minute consult. L.A. Superior Court Judge James Bradlin kicked off the briefest of hearings by announcing that all parties “had a fairly lengthy discussion in chambers.” It’s not clear what was discussed specifically, but they reviewed motions from the D.A’s office and Geragos, as well as supplemental probation reports. Bradlin explained that new discovery – or evidence – had just come in in the form of two thick envelopes, which will be reviewed before the case proceeds. One was from the probation department in Brown’s native Virginia, where he says he completed his 180 days of service, and another from New York. The contents of both envelopes remain sealed at this time, as Bradlin granted a continuance until June 10. Until then, status quo for Brown’s probation. When the controversy arose earlier this year, Brown went off on Instagram , exploding in a tirade … he’s since cooled down considerably in recent weeks. Brown’s mother and a bodyguard accompanied him. Rihanna is on her world tour and couldn’t come … no word on whether she was cheating on him with a girl .

Matt Lauer can’t win these days. The Today host is taking heat for his interview with Chris Brown, with some viewers saying he was too tough and others saying he wasn’t tough enough. Some Chris Brown fans are angry that he even brought up the 2009 beating of Rihanna, and whether or not he’ll do that again (Chris says he absolutely won’t ). Brown’s detractors, meanwhile, believe that Lauer danced around the seriousness of the brutal attack by not referring to it directly or for long enough. Lauer asked Chris about “the incident in 2009″ as well as what he thought of the “cynics” who believe Brown’s abusive ways are not behind him. “So the cynics / skeptics are the ones not forgiving Chris Brown for BEATING THE S**T OUR OF HIS GIRL? Okay, cool Matt Lauer,” Tweeted one viewer. Wrote another: “Matt lauer: ‘ Chris Brown was charged with a felony in 2009.’ Quite a way to say someone beat the shit out of his girlfriend. #journalism.” Another: “F the @todayshow for having @chrisbrown an admitted abuser of women on. Disgusting. You couldn’t find anyone else on the show? Shame.” On the flip side, some die-hard Brown fans (collectively Team Breezy) took Lauer to task for even bringing up the Rihanna beating in the first place. Among their comments: “Matt Lauer was getting annoying!!!! Interview was more about him and @rihanna then it was about his music! leave him alone!” #teambreezy “typical!!!! stop talking about what happened in 2009!!!” “People are so damn nosey. Though often criticized, the always-controversial 23-year-old sounded as sincere, genuine and thoughtful as we’ve ever heard him in this sit-down. Here’s what the R&B star had to say about … Chris Brown Interview Part 1 Rihanna, and winning her back : “I just tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was.” “That time was probably the worst part of my life and being that she’s been and she is a wonderful person I’m eternally grateful and thankful.” On not blaming his age and immaturity for what happened back in 2009: “I could put that on my age but that would just be making an excuse.” “I think for me that at age 18-19 I was capable of writing and producing songs, so I’m also capable of making the right choices. So I think it’s a learning process.” “At that young age I can tell you I was arrogant and definitely hotheaded. I didn’t think I was you know cute for a very long time. But, I know it’s kinda cliche’ to say that inner beauty it comes from within. But, it really does. When you work on yourself and when you take care of yourself and take care of your body, you grow into your beauty. You realize that no one looks like you, no one can be you, no one is you but you. And you really connect with that and embrace that. You know it took a long time to get to that point, but I definitely feel where Kelly is coming from. You would never think, cause’ I’ve known Kelly for a very, very long time and she always seem to be so…..not only confident but she was always beautiful within. So it just always…showed through her eyes and through her smile and everything. You never would’ve known that.
