World Cup Opera Singer Is Dead

Nelson Mandela has chosen a South African singer to perform at the World Cup opening ceremony. Siphiwo Ntshebe died at the age of 34 due to meningitis. He was admitted to the hospital in Port Elizabeth last week and died on Tuesday. Ntshebe was scheduled to perform his new track Hope at the opening ceremony in Johannesburg on June 11. According to Nick Raphael, Epic boss, Ntshebe’s death was a tragedy for all those who believe in the power of music. His voice was truly wondrous and his music was unique in its melodies and the messages of hope and compassion are also truly inspiring. His new track Hope was a soaring track. It features a special message of hope and compassion which was written and spoken by Mandela. The track and an album with the same name were due to be released to go together with the World Cup. According to Pumza Fihlani in Johannesburg, Ntshebe was relatively not famous in South Africa. His appearance at the World Cup opening ceremony would have introduced him to a much wider audience in his own country. Mount Everest’s Youngest Climber

A 13-year-old American boy has become the youngest person to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Jordan Romero who is from California, phoned his mother from the peak of the world’s highest mountain. Jordan was climbing with his father and three Sherpa guides. The previous record was held by a Nepalese boy at 16. Jordan has now conquered the highest mountains on six of the world’s seven continents. For the record, he also climbed Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro at the age of 10. In addition, he scaled Mount Kosciuszko in Australia. The team started at the Nepal’s capital Kathmandu last month and headed for the base camp on the Chinese side of the mountain. Although Nepal insists that whoever plans to climb Mount Everest must be at least 16 years of age, but China does not impose any age restrictions. Jose Lima Died Due To Heart Attack

Before the MLB, All-Star Jose Lima passed away Monday morning at his home in California. The news about the death of the 37-year-old handler was first revealed by his wife Dorca Astacio to ESPN Sport Dorca divulge that Jose Lima’s death was triggered by a serious heart attack during the night. His sudden death was a shock for Dorca as well as his fans. Jose Lima has been recognized as energetic athlete who has always been physically fit. According to Dorca, her husband has been complaining all night, which they supposed was caused by a nightmare. Unluckily, just before the paramedics reached their house in California, there was nothing more they could do to revive Lima. He has been dead before they arrived at their house. The battle on Celebrity Apprentice is between the rocker Bret Michaels and actress Holly Robinson Peete is finally over. On Sunday’s season finale, who was fired and who was hired? Bret Michael’s sheer determination allowed him to make it to Sunday’s live finale of The Celebrity Apprentice. Donald Trump declared Rocker Bret Michaels as the third season winner of the show. The rocker’s amazing return proved that he’s as “RockSolid” as the Apprentice team he competed on. Just before the show started, Holly Robinson Peete cried when she saw Michaels. She showed her support for him on her Twitter page. “I know the whole country is pulling for Bret,” she Tweeted. “In many ways I am too!” Despite the circumstances that he have encountered with re regards to his health, his strong will to win the show gives him the strength to do it. Although Michaels is undergoing twice-daily rehabilitation treatments, he walked with a slight limp at the finale and appeared to be healthy and ready to take on Robinson Peete. The rocker worked tirelessly during the entire competition and most of the time with little to no sleep just to raise funds and awareness for the American Diabetes Association. Michael took the title of The Celebrity Apprentice Third Season Winner. On the other hand, Robinson Peete received a prize of $250,000 for her HollyRod Foundation. Jonas Brothers Trapped In An Elevator For 45 Minutes

Last Sunday at The Groove in Hollywood, after the Jonas Brothers treated thousands of their fans to a free outdoor concert, the trio planned to make a rush retreat. But unluckily, they found themselves trapped in an elevator for about 45 minutes. Joe Jonas says that they were stuck in an elevator together with eight people and Big Rob. It was a 21-person elevator. Among the trio, Jonas and Nick were the first to panic. To wrap it all, the entire experience was captured on film. They had their photographer Rob Hoffman with them and he had his video camera so he taped the whole thing. It ended wit the fire department coming through with axes. Filipina singer Charice zooms to No. 8 on Billboard 200

18 year old Filipina singer, Charice Pempengco enters the Billboard 200 Albums at No. 8, after selling 43,000 copies of her self titled US debut album.  The 18 year old vocal powerhouse visited both “ The Oprah Winfrey Show ” and QVC last week. Known as simply Charice, this singing sensation made her recording debut in 2008 after becoming a YouTube hit. Since then, she has performed with Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli and David Foster, who has taken the young lady under his wing. Charice’s No. 8 debut on the Billboard 200 Albums is the first ever for a solo Filipino artist.  The first cut off the album, “Pyramid feat. Iyaz” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Songs.
