Keshia Knight Pulliam Reveals Her Labor Experience Included One Strange Encounter Baby Ella Grace arrived about two weeks ago, and Keshia Knight Pulliam is finally comfortable enough back at home with her baby to return to her Kandidly Keshia podcast . Keshia posted a new episode Friday all about her birth experience, which included at least one strange encounter with an “older little white lady — about 70” who was assigned as her lactation specialist. Pulliam described how the woman approached her offering her information about government assistance! Via Daily Mail reports : ‘We have some great programs that you may want to take advantage of that you may need … um, WIC is a great program.’ ‘So I guess she saw this little black girl with the little baby by herself and on the door, I didn’t realize that they’d put like a faux last name and the last name was Brown,’ said Pulliam. ‘So I guess she saw “Miss Brown” and was like, ‘She probably needs some WIC’ and insurance services. Pulliam said she cut the woman off in telling her, ‘Ma’am, I have excellent insurance but thank you.’ Keshia mentioned that while she understands that the hospital workers have an obligation to communicate ‘the services that are offered,’ she was offended that the woman presumed she was in need of the specific options she mentioned. Do you think she overreacted? She is absolutely right that it was that woman’s job to inform her of services offered, but what we are more alarmed by is Pulliam’s claims that the woman didn’t want to touch her. She didn’t want to touch me – [specialists will typically] guide your boob, show you how to hold it, put it in the baby’s mouth, [but] this lady was not trying to touch my little brown boobie – not at all,’ said Keisha. Keisha eventually requested a different lactation specialist. Would you have done the same thing? Instagram

Zoe Kravitz Covers February Issue Of ELLE Magazine ELLE Magazine’s February issue features the four stars of new HBO miniseries “Big Little Lies” — Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Zoe Kravitz and Shailene Woodley. The show is based on Liane Moriarty’s 2014 novel “Big Little Lies,” and is described by ELLE as “a seven-part thriller that looks like a movie, feels like a movie—and packs enough woman power to populate the Oscars’ front row—but grips like only episodic TV can.” Peep part of ELLE’s interview with Zoe below: On her “political” mother, Lisa Bonet: She kind of stumbled into that world. It wasn’t a conscious choice (a) to be an actress, (b) to be a famous actress, and (c) to be—she shook things up—a model for so many young women. The beautiful thing about her is that she just thought a certain way and lived her life that way. On Trump: There has to be something positive that can come out of [the election]. Already it’s helped me want to connect with everybody. When I go to the deli or I’m talking to a waiter or my Uber driver and they say, ‘How are you?’ I’ve answered in an honest way for the first time. Like, ‘Oof.’ Even that felt good. Let’s let everything come to the surface, even with people we come in contact with for a moment. This situation can help us be a little bit more awake with each other. Do you see what Zoe’s getting at? Interestingly enough, Zoe’s costar Shailene Woodley says she saw Trump’s win coming from a mile away. On the political climate in Hollywood: It’s hard to talk about politics in a Hollywood world. I learned that really quickly. But after the California primaries, when Bernie Sanders lost—and I’m not saying he should have won—I knew that Trump was going to win. Because I’d been on the ground for months, and we would be in small cities in America and big cities in America, and Bernie would get tens of thousands of people at his rallies. And then Trump would come and he’d get the same numbers. But Hillary would only have a few hundred people at her fundraisers. It doesn’t matter how much more you have in your bank; if 50,000 people show up to your opponents’ rallies and you only have a few hundred people, it says a lot about what the people of America are ready to do. I grieved all of this months ago, whereas most people are grieving it now. Dang… Do you think more people are having regrets about not supporting Bernie Sanders? Celebrities attend BARBERSHOP: THE NEXT CUT premiere at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Featuring: Vivica A. Fox Vivica Fox’s Male Stripper Reality Show Cancelled After Comments Vivica Fox pissed off more than a few folks when she asserted that her male dancers would NOT be dancing for other men…most importantly, the one person she needed to make her male shake-dancer reality dreams come true. Director/producer Jean-Claude LaMarre caught wind of Vivica’s semi-homophobic tone when explaining to The Breakfast Club that her dancers do NOT pop and shake it for men under any circumstances and there’s no need for gay men’s dollars at her revue shows: As LaMarre told TMZ , she can keep that isht over there: “The comments were out of order, and it does not represent our attitudes toward the LGBT community. All are welcomed. Vivica speaks for herself not the business or the show.” Now that doesn’t mean there will be NO show…LaMarre still plans to Executive Produce the reality show. He just doesn’t plan to work with Vivica anymore. Damn, man. We’re sure had Vivica phrased that differently there wouldn’t really be an issue here. But you gotta watch your mouth out here… Splash/Instagram

Arnold Schwarzenegger has a message for Donald Trump. Actually, Arnold Schwarzenegger has a few messages for Donald Trump. Just hours after the President-Elect went on one of his typical Twitter storms – slamming Schwarzenegger as a has-been due to the poor ratings for this week’s Celebrity Apprentice premiere – the ex-movie star has fired back. Hard. The NBC reality show returned on Monday night to 4.9 million total viewers, along with a 1.3 rating in the key demographic of adults 18-49. The previous season premiere, which was hosted by Trump and aired back in January 2015, garnered 6.8 million viewers and earned a 2.4 in this same under age category. That’s a pretty huge dropoff. And it’s one The Donald took pointed notice of on social media. “Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ‘swamped’ (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT,” Trump tweeted on Friday, morning. Added the impending President of the United States: “So much for being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary.” In this case, at least, we have to give Trump credit: He got his numbers right. This rarely happens when it comes to Trump on Twitter . Schwarzenegger, the former Republican Governor of California, has never been one to back down from a fight, however. So he quickly jumped on social media and took Trump down with a couple piece of advice. “There’s nothing more important that the people’s work, @realDonaldTrump,. “I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’ll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.” Damn! Shots fired! And Schwarzenegger wasn’t finished, either. “Please study this quote from [Abraham] Lincoln’s inaugural, @realDonald Trump,” he wrote. “It inspired me every day I was Governor, and I hope it inspires you.” Schwarzenegger then went ahead and read the quote in a video. This is what it says: We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature. Without doubt, these profound, helpful words will turn Trump around and he’ll focus entirely on governing the country, sympathizing with all Americans and doing everything he can actually make this country better. Darn. We almost did it. We almost wrote that entire paragraph with a straight face. It’s worth noting that Trump is an executive producer on The Apprentice. This is ridiculous, yet it’s true. It means he actually makes money if you watch the show, which could explain why he’s so bitter over these terrible ratings. The guy is clearly in need of money. A lot of money. He may owe Russia hundreds of millions of dollars. Expect Vladimir Putin to hack into the NBC ratings database any day now.
Lauren Conrad is ringing in the new year with a very exciting announcement: She’s pregnant with her first child! The former reality star, who has turned her stint on The Hills into a solid career as an author, fashion designer and all-around lifestyle guru, woke up Sunday morning and relayed the news to her Instagram follows. She is expecting a baby with husband William Tell. And in case you don’t believe Conrad for some reason, she included a picture of a sonogram as evidence. “Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…” she wrote as a caption to the image. Check it out here: Conrad and Tell got married in 2014. She donned a Badgley Mischka couture gown for the special occasion, which took place in California and which included former co-star Lo Bosworth as a bridesmaid. The two started dating in 2013 and were together for about a year prior to exchanging vows. In a 2015 blog post, the ex-Hills and Laguna Beach actress was asked how many kids she wants to have with her husband. “Maybe two,” she wrote. “That way we aren’t outnumbered.” At only 30 years old, Conrad has plenty of time to reach this goal, of course. “My favorite thing about being married is knowing that I have a partner in life that I get to do so many wonderful things with,” Lauren once told her followers, adding: “Dreaming of the things we will do 20 years from now is so fun.” We can’t say for certain whether or not Conrad and Tell will be strong parents. But they appear to have a solid bond, never having made any celebrity gossip headline via any divorce or infidelity rumors of any kind. “William hates it when I say this, but he really is a very nice guy, and when you meet a nice guy who also manages to keep your interest, that is the dream,” Lauren previously told Cosmopolitan. “If you’re going to settle down, it should be with someone you can’t stop thinking about.” Congratulations to the happy and gorgeous couple!
