The Grammy Nominated rapper road through the city in a convertible spreading messages of positivity while sitting next to his fiance, Whitney. Peep the video below. The city’s mayor Aja Brown was also in attendance spreading cheer as well as rapper YG who is another Compton native. Stacey Dash Suspended From Fox News Over Profane Language While Criticizing Obama Apparently, there are some levels of disrespect for Obama that even Fox News won’t tolerate. Stacey Dash just learned the hard way to watch her mouth while shes on air, after cursing while babbling on some of her republican rhetoric about why they don’t like Obama this week. The Fox news mouthpiece was given a ho sit down by the network after accusing the POTUS of “not giving a sh*t” about the deaths of Americans at the hands of potential jihadists in California last week. Via CNN : Ralph Peters, a Fox News “strategic analyst,” called the president a “total pu—” who “doesn’t want to hurt our enemies.” A couple of hours later Stacey Dash, a Fox contributor, said the president “didn’t give a sh–” about Sunday night’s terrorism speech. “Earlier today, Fox contributors Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash made comments on different programs that were completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air,” Fox senior executive vice president Bill Shine said. “Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel do not condone the use of such language, and have suspended both Peters and Dash for two weeks,” he said. Dash’s profane remark was partially bleeped during “Outnumbered,” a lunchtime talk show on Fox News. Peters’ comments were not bleeped at all. He spoke to anchor Stuart Varney on the Fox Business Network, a smaller sister of Fox News. Varney let him speak for over a minute, then told Peters, “You can’t use language like that on the program, OK?” Old boy was BOLD calling our president a p*ssy. Five Brilliant Black Scholars Elected To The National Academy Of Medicine The National Academy of Medicine, formerly known as the Institute for Medicine, was founded in 1970. Election to the National Academy of Medicine is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service. The list of the 70 new members of the National Academy of Medicine by JBHE finds that five, or 7 percent, are Black according to Good Black New s: Evan Dale Abel is the John B. Stokes Chair in Diabetes Research and director of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center in the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa. Dr. Abel is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and holds a Ph.D. in physiology from Oxford University in England. Linda Burnes Bolton is vice president and chief nurse executive at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Burnes Bolton is a past president of the American Academy of Nursing and the National Black Nurses Association. She is a trustee at Case Western Reserve University. A graduate of Arizona State University, Dr. Burnes Bolton holds two master’s degrees and a doctorate in public health from the University of California, Los Angeles. Otis Webb Brawley is a professor of hematology, medical oncology, medicine, and epidemiology at Emory University in Atlanta. He is also the chief medical officer for the American Cancer Society in Atlanta. Dr. Brawley earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago. Melissa Lynn Gilliam is dean for diversity and inclusion and a professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics at the University of Chicago.
