Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown revealed exactly how he started drinking again . Now, he’s focused upon his regained sobriety and living his life … a considerable distance away from his parents. A new report says that this is just how Matt likes it — because he doesn’t want much to do with the rest of the Browns. According to a new report by RadarOnline , Matt Brown is miles away from the new Browntown in Washington State. “Matt is living with his girlfriend in California right now,” an insider divulges. And he wouldn’t have it any other way. “He has no desire to be anywhere near his parents,” the source characterizes. “And,” the insider adds. “Really wants nothing to do with them.” Matt recently completed a stint in rehab. That inpatient treatment was followed by sobriety meetings, therapy, and a sober coach. Matt spent time in L.A. while his mother was in town. Ami still gets multiple check-ups a year to ensure that her lung cancer has not returned. Fortunately, the Brown family owns a Beverly Hills mansion. Apparently, Matt isn’t the only member of the Brown family who is tired of being cooped up in the wilderness. “Rain cannot wait to turn 18,” the source claims. Rain is currently 16 years old and has been her family’s de facto spokesperson since she was 14. The insider says that she looks forward to being an adult “so she can get out of the house.” Apparently a large source of Rain’s discontent is clashing with her older and only sister. “Although she and Birdie tolerate each other,” the source says. “They do not always see eye to eye on things and could not be any more different.” Sisters getting on each other’s last nerve is just a fact of life, but Rain isn’t alone. “Bam Bam and Allison want nothing to do with his family,” the insider says. “The only reason that Bam Bam even was on the show,” the source claims. “Is because he has to in order for them to keep the contracts.” Nothing brings a family together like a telvision contract, we guess. “He does not like his mother and father,” the insider explains. “Because of the way that they treat Allison.” And then there’s Gabe and his new bride, Raquell Rose. Meredith may be back in the world of dating, but she was still keeping a secret of epic proportions. Her kids had no idea she was dating DeLuca, and it all came crashing down on Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy. DeLuca ran into Zola in the middle of the night at Meredith’s, and it made the surgeon realize she needed to come clean. Meredith’s biggest concern, however, was that her new man was not fond of children. In true DeLuca fashion, he said he did. He went as far as saying the kids might end up liking him more than her. Meredith was confused, primarily because she fretted her kids did not take the news well. “All you have to do is show up, make it clear what’s happening, answer her questions,” Bailey said to Meredith at the hospital. “All she wants to know is that you’re not going anywhere no matter what.” The kids took the news well. Neither of them complained about it, so that was a good start. “He may be coming around a lot more, but I’m not going anywhere,” she told them. “You’re stuck with me.” Elsewhere, Jo made her grand return to work, but everyone realized there was something off with her. Alex grew concerned that he and Jo were about to break off. If they can’t confide in each other, then what can they do? “She isn’t Izzie. She isn’t Ava or Lexie. She isn’t your mother. She’s not broken, and neither are you,” Meredith told her friend. “She’s going through something, and she’s been through worse and come through on the other side fine. She just isn’t ready to talk about it yet.” Jo tried to hide out from everyone but grew excited when Jackson wanted her to work with him … until Jackson realized Jo was drunk and had a water bottle filled with vodka. Yikes, right? Alex realized he needed to put his foot down, and said that she needed to talk to him about things. “I will talk to you when I’m ready to talk to you, and if you ever threaten to go to Pittsburgh again, I will leave you. Jinger Duggar may be moving to Los Angeles , but the reality star has made it very clear on Instagram: Her heart will always be in Arkansas. Specifically, it will always be with the two people who raised her and taught her every life lesson: parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar. Jinger and husband Jeremy Vuolo, of course, moved away from many of the former’s family members years ago and have been residing in Laredo, Texas. However, they confirmed to People Magazine several days ago that yet another move was on the horizon. “In recent days, God has made it overwhelmingly clear to us that he is leading us out of Laredo,” the couple told this publication in an interview, elaborating as follows: “Through much prayer and counsel, the next step for our family is to relocate to Los Angeles to attend Grace Community Church as Jeremy pursues graduate studies at The Master’s Seminary.” Labeling the decision to relocate as one of the “hardest things we’ve ever done,” the couple asked fans for prayers and said they will become California residents in July. Now, ahead of this major life change, Jinger has taken a moment to look back. She has shared a photo of herself being kissed on the cheeks by Jim Bob and Michelle and published an affiliated caption that showers praise on both her mother and her father. “Dear Dad & Mom, I want to take a moment to express my deep love and gratitude for you,” she writes to open this message, adding: “You two have impacted my life in ways that will forever be imprinted upon my heart. You not only taught us kids what it means to be a Christian but exemplified it by your daily walk with Christ. “Your training was one not merely of words, but of actions.” This note is notable because Jinger has clashed at times with her conservative parents. She has famously worn pants in the past . She waited an entire year after marriage to get pregnant. And now she’s moving to the liberal bastion of Los Angeles, sparking talk that mom and dad have disowned their daughter . So it’s safe to assume this open letter is Jinger’s attempt to get back on Jim Bob and Michelle’s good side. Continues the mother of one in it: “Truly there is no greater emphasis that you could’ve instilled in us kids, than that of love for God and others. Your constant care for both our physical and spiritual needs is but a small example of our Heavenly Father’s love and nurturing care for His children.” Neither Jim Bob nor Michelle has spoken on Jinger and Jeremy’s impending move. We can’t imagine they are too thrilled over it. Kim Kardashian West has finally figured out what she wants to be when she grows up. At the age of 38 and with three kids at home, the reality star is giving us a MAJOR plot twist. And by major — I mean Kim just actually declared one. During a cover interview for this month’s Vogue issue, Kim opened up about a surprising life announcement … she’s becoming a lawyer. Legit. She will actually be opening up a book and studying to become a lawyer. The soon-to-be mother of four said she decided last summer to begin a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco, with the goal of taking the bar in 2022. The exam that is so notoriously hard — especially in the state of California, where it spans three days — even Hilary Clinton failed it the first time around. Of course, she obviously went on to still have an extremely successful legal career — so I guess anything is possible for the reality star. “I had to think long and hard about this,” Kim said. The choice came from the combination of “seeing a really good result” with Alice Marie Johnson’s case while simultaneously feeling like she needed to do more. “I never in a million years thought we would get to the point of getting laws passed,” she says. “That was really a turning point for me.” Still, she knew her celebrity superpowers weren’t enough and she needed more, hence her desire to educate herself. “The White House called me to advise me to help change the system of clemency, and I’m sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentence criminals and a lot of really powerful people,” she explained. “And I just sat there, like, Oh, shit. I need to know more.” Kardashian West, 38, has been working with author and CNN commentator Van Jones and attorney Jessica Jackson for months, visiting prisons, petitioning governors, and attending meetings at the White House. Husband Kanye West already has his foot in the door there anyway — so why not! “I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case,” she explained. “It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people and I’ve always known my role, but I just feel like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.” “I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more,” she reasoned. The reality star also revealed that she’s had a long interest in the subject thanks to her late father, Robert Kardashian. Robert was a businessman and attorney, who became a household name while helping defend friend O.J. Simpson in his infamous 1994 murder trial. “On the weekend they used our home as an office, with Johnnie Cochran and Bob Shapiro,” the middle Kardashian child recalls. “My dad had a library, and when you pushed on this wall there was this whole hidden closet room, with all of his O.J. evidence books. “On weekends I would always snoop and look through. I was really nosy about the forensics.” Ok, well hopefully Kim can at least learn in law school that evidence is not to be tampered with. Luckily for Kim, considering she never finished college, California offers another path to passing the bar by “reading the law” or apprenticing with a practicing lawyer or judge. And according to Vogue , sometime this summer she will be taking what is known as the “baby bar” administered by the state; if she passes, she will be given the okay to continue for three more years of study. “The reading is what really gets me,” she admits. “It’s so time-consuming. The concepts I grasp in two seconds.” And when asked about the negative feedback she will inevitably face? “I don’t pay attention to that anymore,” she says. “I love to be put in a situation where I can have a conversation with someone who might not be inclined to think much of me because I can guarantee they will have a different opinion and understand what’s important to me after they’ve met me.” She also has full support from her popular family members! Kourtney Kardashian, 39, tells Vogue she thinks her sister is definitely lawyerly. “She seems to have all the answers or something like she just kind of knows,” Kourt says. Momager Kris Jenner is on the same page as us, admitting that she “did not see this one coming.” “What didn’t surprise me was the way she embraced Miss Alice and how she was so hopeful for that outcome,” she adds. “When you find something that you’re just that passionate about, it’s not difficult; you don’t have to think about it — it just happens.” I guess we will see how difficult it proves to be this summer. While we certainly do not object to Kim furthering her education and would love to see her use her fame for something more charitable, we will be shocked if law school pans out for this socialite. Earlier this week a special coroner’s jury unanimously ruled that Jennifer and Sarah Hart, 38, killed themselves while their children “died at the hands of another” as part of their murder-suicide plot. Authorities previously believed that this was the case, but the jury’s findings backed their claims. “It is my belief that Jennifer and Sarah succumbed to a lot of pressure,” sheriff’s Lt. Shannon Barney told jurors. “Just a lot of stuff going on in their lives, to the point where they made this conscious decision to end their lives this way and take their children’s lives.” A search of Sarah Hart’s cellphone also pointed toward the act being intention. It contained Google inquiries, including “Can 500 mgs of Benadryl kill a 120-pound woman?” and “is death by drowning relatively painless?” She also searched for no-kill dog shelters, likely implying they were searching for a place for their pets in preparation for their future absence.

We have an update on the Lori Loughlin college cheating scandal that continues to rock the nation. As previously reported, the actress forever known as Aunt Becky was arrested on Wednesday afternoon. She was taken into custody by FBI agents in California after returning to the United States from Vancouver, where she had been filming a television show. We can now also report that Loughlin subsequently appeared before a judge in Los Angeles, where her bail was set at $1 million, the same amount also set for her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli. Giannulli was not in court on Wednesday, but both individuals were set free after securing this amount against their home, as well as other assets. Judge Steve Kim originally said at the hearing that he wasn’t “comfortable” providing Loughlin with her passport — but then relented and set conditions for her work. For example, Loughlin may head to Vancouver to film two more projects in April and May and then to this same city in July for a series. But she must surrender her passport in December. Loughlin will also face charges in Boston Federal Court on March 29. As you’ve likely read about by now… the actress is in a boatload of trouble. Along with Felicity Huffman and 48 other, less famous men and women, Loughlin is accused of illegally funneling money to a middle man in California. This man then worked with an employee at the University of Southern California to break the law and submit Loughlin’s daughter’s as applicants for entry under false pretenses. And Loughlin’s case is especially galling. The mother of two and allegedly gave $500,000 to say her daughter Olivia Jade was part of her high school rowing team. She even had Olivia pose for photos on a rowing machine to make this fradulent argument. Using this bribery money, along with the fake picture and other phony/doctored pieces of information, Olivia was submitted to USC as a prospective athlete, which lowered her admission standards. According to the official indictment, Loughlin and her husband “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team – despite the fact that they did not participate in crew – thereby facilitating their admission to USC.” On Tuesday morning, news went viral of an FBI investigation (amazingly code-named “Operation Varsity Blues”) into a group of wealthy parents who are accused of paying between $200,000 and $6.5 million to admit their children into elite universities. Their reported schemes include everything from faking SAT and ACT scores to paying college coaches to have their children designated as athletic recruits, as is the case here. Making matters a million times worse for Loughlin? Olivia Jade is some sort of huge social media star who said on video last year that she’s only at school to party. Moreover, per TMZ, she spent Tuesday night on the yacht of the Chairman of USC’s Board of Trustees! This was after news of the scandal broke! These people are the worst! Huffman, for her part, allegedly gave $15,000 “to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter,” the indictment states. She was arrested on Tuesday and released on a $250,000 bond. More than four dozen people have been charged in the nationwide scam, which is alleged to have placed students in top-tier schools such as Yale, Georgetown, Stanford, the University of Southern California, UCLA and the University of Texas. Ths investigation into these sordid affairs took place over the course of about a year. Loughlin has since deleted all her social media accounts and has not yet said anything about the scandal. She really may end up in prison .
