Caitlyn Jenner Says Kardashians Are Icing Her Out Over Book Details Kimmy and crew have consistently mentioned all season of KUWTK how disappointed they are in Caitlyn for trash-talking their father and mother and thus the whole Kardashian fam in her new book…but Caitlyn tells Cambridge Union via Too Fab she barely even talks about them in the first place: “I tried to be honest in my book — very fair and very nice. Unfortunately, they didn’t take it that way. In the book I express some opinions and got shut down. It was not about the Kardashians. They were only mentioned on 20 pages. They made it more about them on television. The book was about my life. That caused a lot of the separation between us.” Well, in all fairness, that’s probably the only 20 pages they read… Either way, Caitlyn says the Kardashian girls have pretty much turned their backs on him after he raised them from a young age, all over this book and their Mom’s hurt feelings . “It’s been a little bit tough over the past couple of years on the Kardashian side. The royal family broke the news this morning after reporting that Kate Middleton,35, is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, or severe morning sickness as with her two previous pregnancies. She’s since cancelled a planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today. According to The BBC’s royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell, the couple had “clearly been forced” to make the announcement because of the duchess’ condition. “It is quite a significant week for them because Prince George is due to start at big school,” he told BBC News. “Presumably his mother would be keen to take him to that, [but] whether she is going to be well enough to do that remains to be seen. “It had also been expected that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would be taking a foreign trip this autumn,” he added. “Whether they will be able to do that or whether the duchess will be well enough to do that also remains to be seen.” Get well soon Kate and congrats on yet another royal baby! Kate Middleton may not be perfect after all. This is a stunning declaration to make, and it may prove to be untrue. But a couple of recent stories are making us question the unparalleled awesomeness of the Duchess of Cambridge for the first time in history. Last week, Middleton came under fire after photos emerged of her three-year old son, George, standing and looking out the window of a moving car. He wasn’t wearing his seatbelt and the Internet went OFF on Middleton in response. It’s worth noting that the car was on a private road at the time, with no other vehicles in the vicinity… but still. Everyone should wear his or her seatbelt at all times. Especially toddlers. It’s not as though one-car accidents don’t exist, right? Elsewhere, Middleton was even criticized for her behavior at Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews on May 20. Many of the pictures that surfaced online featured Kate with an annoyed or angry look on her face, disciplining her young kids instead of just allowing them to have fun. “Kate didn’t have the time or the patience for his shenanigans,” one witness said of Middleton and George. Somewhere, every mother of a toddler is shaking her head over the gall of anyone to make this critique. But this brings us to the latest Kate Middleton scandal, one that also involves her handsome husband, Prince William. According to The Sun, the beloved couple just lost one of their top employees after housekeeper Sadie Rice decided that Kate and William were asking too much of her. An insider tells the British newspaper that Rice was making $35,000 pounds per year (about $45,000 dollars), yet chose to leave both this paycheck and the Royal Twosome behind due to excessive demands on her time. The issue stems from Kate and William’s planned move to Kensington Palace. They had been spending about two-thirds of their time at Anmer Hall, but will will relocate on a full-time basis to Kensington after William leaves his air ambulance job this fall. “They wanted her to spend more time at Kensington Palace and her work was increasing all the time,” The Sun writes of William, Kate and Sadie , explaining in further detail: “Sadie’s a hard worker but the job’s demands got too much, even for her… “She wasn’t having a normal life outside work. Sadie’s serving her notice and it seems nothing will change her mind. It’s their loss.” This same source describes the situation as a major blow to the famous family, considering how much two-year old Charlotte and little George had grown to love Sadie. Rice was reportedly responsible for cleaning, laundry, shopping and cooking during her tenure as a housekeeper and occasional nanny. In 2015, Kate lured Sadie away from Norway’s Prince Haakon and wife Mette-Marit in Oslo, where she had spent the previous five years doing similar tasks and chores. Prior to that stint, she served as a Buckingham Palace maid and was well liked by the Queen. William and his lovely wife have been hiring more staff member as they prepare to move to London and step up their Royal duties. But they may have trouble replacing someone such as Sadie. “They will regret losing Sadie, as the right people aren’t easy to find,” concludes this The Sun report. Typically, the Kate Middleton rumor mill churns with talk of her and Prince William taking a trip to Pound Town. In other (less confusing and lewd) words, most chatter surrounding the Duchess of Cambridge has to do with her womb and when she’ll next get pregnant . But sources now tell Vanity Fair that Middleton is upset at her handsome husband for a different kind of trip; one that involved cold, wet snow, not red hot banging. Earlier this week, the Royal Family became the subject of a few negative headlines after William had perhaps a bit too much fun with friends at a nightclub in Switzerland. He was at the establishment as part of a ski vacation with his friends. Multiple outlets reported on the singing and “dad dancing” that was included in the break Williams took with close pals Guy Pelly, Tom van Straubenzee and James Meade. (Are those not the most British names you’ve ever read in your entire life?!?) Likely as a result of a headache and/or extreme fatigue, the Duke of Cambridge was noticeably absent from Monday’s Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, Britain’s largest interfaith gathering attended by many members of his famous family. And an insider claims that the most important person in William’s immediate family was “disappointed” with her husband’s behavior. “It was William’s choice to go away, but make no mistake Kate wears the trousers in their marriage, and she won’t be happy with William’s antics,” a source tells the aforementioned publication, adding: “She thought his partying days and larking around with the boys was a thing of the past. To be clear, this was solely a guys’ trip. Cameras did capture a few females hanging out in William’s presence, but there’s no concern that he acted inappropriately with anyone of the opposite sex. Prince William’s wife has reportedly dropped to a scary 89 pounds (even scarier considering she’s 5’9″) if this report is to be believed. The ” secret battle ,” as it’s called, has left the family heartbroken, with a bandage on her finger of all things allegedly proving it’s true. How is that possible, and what is she doing to turn it around? We’re going to ahead and say it’s not possible – some women are just naturally thin, and you can’t turn around a problem that doesn’t exist. It’s not like we haven’t heard it all before, either. Many times. Just last fall, Life & Style published a cover story that claimed Kate Middleton is pregnant , but with a similar health crisis twist to boot: She’s a gaunt 90 pounds while expecting royal baby #3. “Despite her shockingly thin appearance, Kate Middleton can’t hide her joy at welcoming a third child with Prince William,” reads the article. “The 34-year-old is expecting baby No. 3 .” Yes, this was a real story published in September so it obviously wasn’t true that “Kate has told her family about the pregnancy.” Nor should we believe that people close to Middleton have “expressed concern” about her slender frame in recent months … or ever. Yes, Kate is “super slender,” the magazine writes. That is literally the case, but that’s where the real facts end and – shout out to Kellyanne Conway ! – the alternative ones begin in a hurry. In that case, a so-called “medical expert” who has never met Kate claimed that “she’s about 90 pounds” and said William is very concerned. He supposedly “called in top medical experts.” Why? Because the heir to the British throne and father of two feels like his beautiful wife “is all skin and bones and has no energy.” She has been called the laziest royal in history , but that has nothing to do with her weight and everything to do with her lifestyle choices. John Legend is stepping into what may be America’s most polarizing controversy at the moment. And it centers around America’s long-time theme song. Last week, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made headlines for something he did away from the field. Just a few feet away from the field, to be exact. Prior to a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers, Kaepernick sat down on the bench during the Star-Spangled Banner. He bucked the tradition of standing and taking off one’s hat in order to show respect for his country and he later explained why to NFL.com. “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick said. He added: “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder. Here is a photo of Kaepernick taking his stand sit: The quarterback did not cite any specific incidents, but it stands to reason that he’s motivated to make this protest by the disturbing number of African-American deaths at the hands of police officers in 2016. For instance, Alton Sterling and Philando Castile both lost their lives in confrontations with authorities in June and July, respectively. Neither man appeared to be an imminent threat to the lives of the cops at the time. Kaepernick’s stance has elicited strong opinions from both sides, with critics aghast over the way he his spitting on his own country… … and defenders saying he’s just exercising his First Amendment right to make a larger point. On which side does Legend fall? Team Kaepernick, it would seem. After tweeting an article about the Star-Spangled Banner that claims an often unsung verse in the Francis Scott Key classic “literally celebrates the murder of African-Americans,” Legend referred to the song as “weak.” My vote is for “America the Beautiful,” he wrote, offering up that track as the new national anthem. Legend then posed a question to those hating so hard on Kaepernick. These people absent-mindedly stand up during sporting events just because they’ve been told to, but are they even aware of the basis behind the song? Moreover, do they even like it? “For those defending the current anthem, do you really truly love that song? I don’t and I’m very good at singing it. Like, one of the best,” he Tweeted. It’s true. John Legend can wail! Since his initial protest, the back-up signal-caller has made it clear that he’ll continue to sit “to stand with the people that are being oppressed.” He explained: “To me, this is something that has to change. When there’s significant change and I feel like that flag represents what it’s supposed to represent and this country is representing people the way that it’s supposed to, I’ll stand. There’s people being murdered unjustly and [people are] not being held accountable. Cops are getting paid leave for killing people. That’s not right. That’s not right by anyone’s standards.” This sort of stance isn’t new to anyone who has been following Kaepernick on social media. The athlete has been outspoken when it comes to similar issues, providing his 845,000 Twitter followers and 1.3 million Instagram followers with plenty of updates about racial injustices. “This country stands for freedom, liberty, justice for all – and it’s not happening for all right now,” he says. Do you agree with him? Do you think this is the proper way to stage a protest? And, be honest, wouldn’t America the Beautiful be a better song for us all to sing anyway?
Two Middleton babies are on the way! One will be royal, the other will be a common plebe. OK! Magazine wins this month’s “Weirdest Tabloid Cover Story,” and it’s only September 1st. “Princess Kate & Pippa: We’re Both Pregnant!” The headline declares. “One’s having a boy, one’s having a girl! “Kate Will Be 8 Months Along At Pippa’s Wedding.” Pippa only got engaged to financier James Matthew on July 19th, so being an unwed mother is quite the scandal. “The news is twice as nice for the Middleton family: Sources say that not only is Duchess Kate expecting — her little sister Pippa, is too!” a source allegedly told OK! . “Just a few weeks back, Kate discovered that she’s expecting another little princess, and the buzz in Pippa’s circle is that’s pregnant, too — with a little boy.” The Duchess of Cambridge is mom to two children already – Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, who turned 1 on May 4th. And while Catherine and William are said to want a big family, there has been no official word from the palace on whether she is expecting. In other words, she’s not. 32-year-old Pippa is, of course, aware of the stigma attached to her situation. The source helpfully pointed out that she’ll “now have to endure whispers about whether hers is a shotgun wedding,” which would mortify her mother, Carole. I’m making that up. Carole looks to be a very modern broad and probably supports a woman’s right to get knocked up by a multi-millionaire. No matter! Pipps and Jim are in this to win this, having dated back in 2012, then getting back together this past fall, after she broke up with another fiancier, Nico Jackson. Plus, if all the gossip gets Pippa down, James can whisk her off on his private jet to his family’s hotel in St. Barts. Must go, my horse and carriage is here.” To drive the point home, the only reliable source when it comes to royal pregnancies (not Middleton pregnancies), is Kensington Palace. It's all fun and games until someone goes off the rails. Literally. David Salmon was having a grand old time at a private home outside of Austin, Texas, which boasts a nifty water slide. Unfortunately, when Salmon took part in one of America's favorite past times (right up there with homemade fireworks and beers on a boat), he got more than he bargained for. In the video below, Salmon is seen trying to steer himself down the waterslide with his hand. While rounding a corner, Salmon flew right up over the side and landed ten feet down on a rocky hillside. Salmon was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for a broken arm and broken ribs, along with some serious bruises and scratches. “I'd gone down a few times [before] and it was fast. But this time, I just couldn't slow down ,” Salmon told Fox 4 Dallas. “I threw my arm out and went right over the edge,” he recalled. “For a split second I was like, 'oh no,' and then it was a hard crash. The rest was all blurry,” the 32-year-old said from his bed, eager to stress that while he's OK, he's in a lot pain from what he calls a “freak accident.” Salmon, who told the news station that he doesn't want to be known as “Water Slide Guy,” posted the video and a message on Facebook. “Too dang old to be going down water slides,” he wrote. “Fell off this one that is over a rocky cliff. First time in an ambulance. I'm currently in the hospital in Round Rock. Broke my arm (humerus) and fractured ribs. Multiple lacerations on my back, arms and side. “Just found out I don't need surgery so that's good news! These days, it seems hardly a week goes by without the Duggar family being embroiled in some sort of controversy. Often, the complaints from fans and detractors are legitimate (We won’t even bother to rehash the many ugly chapters of the Josh Duggar sex scandals .), but sometimes they’re classic cases of manufactured Internet outrage. The latest kerfuffle – having to do with the above photo of baby Israel that was posted by Derick Dillard last night – seems to be somewhere in between, but leans closer to the latter category. In anticipation of the Oklahoma State University football season (It’s still July, Der! Chill!) Dillard posted the above photo with a caption reading: “Pistols firing! Only 45 days til some OSU cowboy football starts! Go Pokes!” Fans saw two causes for complaint, both of which smacked of serious nit-picking. Far be it for us to defend anyone in the Duggar clan (even if they happen to be a Dillard), but Pistol Pete has been the OSU mascot for decades, and it’s not like Derick put an actual gun in the kid’s hand. The other complaint is almost as baffling, as several fans took issue with the placement of the straps on Israel’s car seat: “Good god someone please adjust that child’s chest clip. That’s horrific,” wrote one follower, instigating a tense debate about the importance of car seat safety. The whole thing was reminiscent of the time Jinger Duggar was criticized for failing to properly secure Josh and Anna’s 4-year-old son. The photo was meant to celebrate a three-year-old’s birthday, but by all means let’s accuse the parents of animal cruelty. Kensington Palace released four photos today, taken by Matt Porteous, celebrating Prince George’s birthday. The shoot took place earlier this month, and one of the photos shows George sharing his ice cream with the family’s cocker spaniel, Lupo. The Royal Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals is furious with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for allowing George to feed Lupo dairy, which can cause digestive issues and diarrhea. “It is lovely that Prince George is trying to help keep his family dog, Lupo, cool in these high temperatures,” RSPCA stated, according to the Guardian . Making these can be really fun for children and the end product is both safe and enjoyable for dogs.” Kensington Palace has not addressed the question of whether the treat is dog-friendly or not, despite activists automatically assuming that it’s a white chocolate covered ice cream. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has both grown up with dogs, so it’s safe to assume that they would never knowingly put Lupo in danger. The other photos in the set feature George on a swing, thought to be a wedding gift to his parents. Though Catherine normally takes official photos of her children (she photographed Princess Charlotte ahead of her first birthday back in May), this time the royal couple hired Matt Porteous. “I really enjoyed the opportunity to take these photographs of Prince George,” Porteous said. “It was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
