Kelsey Grammer is in for a long custody battle with his ex. He admitted as much at the Tony Awards last night, sounding confident about his chances. “It’s going to be a long drawn out thing and it’ll be turgid and unpleasant I’m sure, but not on my side,” the actor told OK! Weekly . Will Kelsey Grammer still be smiling when his custody battle plays out? No matter how it plays out, Kelsey couldn’t say enough good things about his new wife, Kayte Walsh, who accompanied him to the event. “She’s just amazing. She’s extraordinary. Kelsey Grammer Custody Plea: Give Me My Son!

Thanks a lot, Kelsey Grammer. You’re forcing us to actually take the side of your ex-wife. As this former couple battles it out for custody of their children – the case is expected to be heard in early July – TMZ has uncovered a letter that paints Kelsey in an even worse light than Hank did. In a document dated April 29, and sent from Kelsey’s lawyer to Camille’s attorney, the former sitcom star actually requests that his children are separated. The letter reads : “Kelsey proposes … Kelsey shall have primary physical custody of Jude and Camille shall have primary physical custody of Mason,” adding that Kelsey would then enroll his six-year son in a school in Chicago. Camille has filed for primary custody of both kids in response, in order to keep them together. Stan Rosenfield, Kelsey’s rep, didn’t deny his clients demands, simply saying in a statement: “Despite the fact that those connected with Camille Grammer seem to be hand delivering confidential documents to TMZ and other media outlets, we will continue not to make public statements about their private matters which can and apparently does beg for misinterpretation. “There is no valid reason to drag the Grammer children into any media spotlight.” Whose side are you on in this battle? Mel Gibson Domestic Abuse Claims: Dropped By Oksana Grigorieva!

In a shocking move, Oksana Grigorieva dropped her domestic violence claim against Mel Gibson at a court hearing today in the couple’s custody case. Last month, Mel pleaded no contest to battery, ending that chapter of the pair’s legal circus. But the battle for custody of Lucia, 1, remains unresolved. In fact, it’s been so contentious that today’s move came out of left field, as Oksana actually extended an olive branch in an attempt to settle the case . Oksana’s lawyer, Dan Horowitz, told Judge Scott Gordon that they would no longer claim Mel’s alleged violence as grounds to strip him of custody. Mel’s lawyer, Stephen Kolodny and the judge were visibly shocked. The domestic violence protective order Oksana obtained – prohibiting Mel from contacting or harassing her – has also been terminated as of today. Sources close to Oksana Grigorieva say she would like to be able to communicate directly with Mel, rather than going through intermediaries. No word on whether Mel feels the same way, but it’s a good first step in putting this ugly mess behind them for the good of their little girl. The only potential bad news? Kristian Otto Herzog’s book won’t sell nearly as well if these two are actually getting along now. Poor guy.

Might Brandi Glanville be getting a little reality TV revenge? Mere weeks after Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes got married, Brandi is in talks to join Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season. The obvious plot line for the contrived nonsense that would comprise the bulk of Glanville’s time on screen, should she really join the program? Brandi’s ex, Eddie, leaving her for LeAnn, and their struggles to raise sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 4, in the aftermath of the scandalous breakup. While Brandi called a truce with Eddie and LeAnn and was even seen partying with them at one of the boys’ birthday parties, there’s still tension. Camille Grammer became a bona fide star after her split with Kelsey was chronicled on the show, so it’s not surprising Bravo thought of Brandi. Also, Glanville is a close friend of Cedric Martinez , that sloth who refused to move out of Lisa VanderPump’s house. So she’s got an in!

Camille Grammer: Crushed by Kelsey’s Wedding

Camille Grammer is on record as wishing ex-husband Kelsey and his new bride, Kayte Walsh, the very best of luck . But Lisa Vanderpump – being a loyal, close friend who isn’t exploiting her co-star’s pain for attention in any way – has come out and said this is basically a lie. Camille was crushed when Kelsey and Walsh tied the knot last week. “She was very upset,” Lisa told E! News. “It’s public, it’s humiliating, and she’s very vulnerable. It’s very upsetting.” But will Grammer return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ?!? “I can’t say definitely, because it’s been tricky the past few weeks with a lot of feelings running high with what went down with Camille and her divorce,” Vanderpump said. “My perception is that it worked so if it’s not broken why fix it? Which Cast Member is Exiting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

There’s a 99% chance that one cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will NOT return for season two. But sources don’t identity this individual as Camille Grammer , with an insider telling E! News: “Camille is coming back; she just wants the public to feel sorry for her a little longer because of the whole Kelsey thing, so she’s not announcing it yet.” Yup. That sounds about right. So, who is almost definitely departing the Bravo series? Kim Richards. “There is so much more going on than what was shown on TV,” the source says of Kim’s televised struggles . “There was a lot of tension building up over the years, [Kim and Kyle] have a complicated relationship.” The aunt of Paris Hilton is having major problems with drinking, this insider adds , concluding: “It’s a problem. She just won’t show up to events or functions she is supposed to be at, and no one can get a hold of her. It’s really affecting her relationships to those closest to her.”

Camille Grammer to Kelsey: Good Luck!

Camille Grammer is officially divorced from Kelsey Grammer, and trying her hardest to come across as okay with that. Just hours after a judge make her split from the actor legal, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star released the following statement: “I have a great many mixed feelings about today. I’m sad for what was, yet excited about the road ahead. I’m grateful to my family and friends who have stood by me through this time. I will never forget their love and support. What I most hope is that Kelsey and I can improve our communications and truly co-parent our two wonderful children. And I wish Kelsey and Kayte love and happiness in their new marriage.” Interesting note: If you look closely enough at these words, you can actually see the steam coming out of Camille’s ears when she wrote them.
