Source: Stefanie Keenan / Getty Former Head Of Roc-A-Fella Records Allegedly Owes More Money To New York State Rap entrepreneur Damon Dash is once again accused of skipping out on paying the state it’s due in back taxes. That’s according to a new tax warrant against the Dame Dash Studios head from the state of New York’s Division of Taxation, which tops out at nearly $3,000, the tax organization’s spokesman confirmed to BOSSIP. Dash’s alleged tax debt stems from the income he earned in 2017, the spokesman said. While the total amount – $2,771,45 – may not seem like much, it’s the latest in a series of state tax liens against Dash that have topped more than $2 million over the last 12 years, making him one of the biggest alleged tax scofflaws in New York, according to public records. The warrant means that the state can move to garnish Dash’s wages or seize his property – like cars – and sell them to satisfy the debt. However, the state of NY may have to wait a while longer to collect. Dash hasn’t been seen in New York since 2015, after we exclusively revealed that two judges issued warrants for his arrest for failing to pay his ex-wife Rachel Roy and baby mama Cindy Morales nearly $400,000 in back child support. When reached for comment, Dash told BOSSIP that he wasn’t aware of the new lien. “First I’m hearing of it…$2,700 though?…Come on, talk about my tv network,” he said.

In the hilarious ad, 2 Chainz and Awkwafina vent their frustrations while getting manicures about their unhelpful smartphones after Titty Boi realizes he is out of space when he tries to take a selfie with the actress. From there the two yearn for a phone that “gets them” and will allow to them do things like know their schedule, know their taste, order sea bass or even purchase Mount Fuji without having to pay for “the dumb things they don’t want.” Well, apparently you get that and more with the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL which are the more affordable version of the tech giants Pixel 3 smartphone. Based on reviews for the phone, Google has another hit on their hands with their new devices with reviewers calling it the best Android device out despite its lower cost. For his talents, the Washington, D.C. region native will be awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor later this year. NPR reports : The stand-up comic, actor, producer and director joins a prestigious group of comedians to receive the award. Among them are Carol Burnett, Whoopi Goldberg, Bob Newhart and Richard Pryor — who won the very first Twain Prize in 1998. “Dave is one of the truly original voices in comedy — the definition of a creative artist,” Matthew Winer, director of comedy and special programming at the Kennedy Center, said to NPR. “He’s a modern day sociologist, skewering stereotypes, defying boundaries and showing us that laughter can be a way to contextualize issues that we struggle to understand.” “Dave is the embodiment of Mark Twain’s observation that ‘against the assault of humor, nothing can stand,’ ” Deborah F. Rutter, president of the Kennedy Center, said in a prepared statement. “For three decades, Dave has challenged us to see hot-button issues from his entirely original yet relatable perspective.” Chappelle will return to Washington on Oct. 27 of this year in a ceremony at the Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts. Very sad news today out of the television world. Troy Dean Shafer, best known as the contractor and host of DIY Network’s restoration series Nashville Flipped, passed away in his sleep on April 28. He was 38 years old. The reality star’s brother, Tim, told TMZ that there were no warning signs and no previous medical conditions that would have given anyone close to Shafer cause to be concerned. The family remains in shock over the heartbreaking news. This same gossip website reports that the coroner’s office in Erie, Pennsylvania had not yet performed an autopsy on Troy’s body — but a toxicology report will be finalized in the weeks ahead. Until then, those close to Shafer and those who worked with him will remain perplexed over what transpired. “The DIY Network family is sorry to hear about the passing of Troy Dean Shafer, a dedicated, driven entrepreneur and restoration expert who was admired by everyone who worked on the series,” the network has said in a statement, concluding: “We continue to extend our deepest condolences to Troy’s family and friends during this difficult time.” Shafer was laid to rest in a small ceremony last week. He graduated from Penn State University and had actually moved to Nashville to pursue a career in singing. Ultimately, though, he utilized his construction skills and pitched a home renovation show based in this beloved city, one that focused on homes from the 1800s and early 1900s. The series, Nashville Flipped, also starred Rob Kuskin and Sean Roberge and premiered in April of 2017. A year earlier, Shafer opened about his many TV offers but said many had been looking for a “character” — and that just wasn’t him. “They were looking for some over-the-top drama, and I get it. That makes good TV, and that’s the way a lot of house flipping shows are, but that’s definitely not me,” he told The Nashville Ledger at the time, adding: “I’m not dramatic, and even if I was, I wouldn’t go on TV and broadcast it, because the show may last one year, but I need this company to last. “I want to pass this down to kids. “I don’t want anyone thinking anything other than who I really am.” Shafter was partly popular due to this sort of attitude; simply put, he kept things real. Meanwhile, according to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook, there’s a very good chance that drugs played a role in this unexpected passing. “Given the situation, we strongly suspect drugs were involved and a factor in his death,” Cook told Radar Online. However, he will not know for certain until the results of the toxicology report come back. Shafter is survived by his parents, Timothy and Janey Shafer; his brother Tim; as well as a niece, cousins, aunts and uncles – and his wife, Becky, who he married in 2014. May he rest in peace. And then they take that little portion of hair, and it’s kinda like when men are losing their hair, it’s the same thing, put in your brows. But this guy, Dr Champagne is amazing because he specializes in brow shape for your face.” Despite its bloody appearance, Good says it wasn’t painful. “I was like sitting in the surgery and I was like, ‘Let me see what that looks like.’ But he was like, ‘No, I don’t think you should see with it open.’ I was like, ‘Just let me see. Even Duggar fans were hesitant to celebrate the news that Anna Duggar is pregnant with baby #6 . Imagine the burden and stigma of growing up with that creep Josh Duggar as your father! After all of those scandals! Well, Josh is embroiled in yet another scandal, and is begging a judge to let him off the hook. As we previously reported, Josh Duggar is being sued for trying to steal a man’s land . See, Josh used his wealth to buy up a bunch of land in Arkansas. It’s a free country, and he can do that. But you have to tell the owner about it and give him the money, first. Josh thinks that he bought the land, but a man named Carl Echols bought the land in 2006. Since then, he has paid taxes on the property and even lived on it. The specifics are that, in 2016, Josh’s real estate company, ALB Investments, purchased five acres of land. If you want an idea of how remote this land is, the purchase price was apparently a mere $1,000. Of course, Echols says that he paid $17,500 when he bought the land from his cousin, Edward L. Lewis. Now, Echols is suing Lewis for breach of contract — for, you know, selling land that he didn’t own and hadn’t owned in a decade. And he’s suing ALB Investments for the land title. Earlier this month, Josh’s attorneys have argued that ALB Investments are in “good standing.” (And sure, if you don’t count being owned by a guy who famously molested 5 little girls, The legal team is asking the judge to remove them from the lawsuit, arguing that they should never have been a part of it in the first place. The judge has yet to make a ruling, but Josh is asking that his name be removed from the matter. Truth be told, it sounds like ALB Investments is just as much a victim in this as Echols himself. Josh occassionally appears in Duggar group photos, where they hope to sneak him in without reprisal from fans. It’s been years since Josh Duggar has appeared on reality television, and it’s not by choice. TLC may allow Jim Bob and Michelle on their show, but even that network has to draw the line somewhere. Josh’s cheating scandal and his (lol) “porn scandal” were big deals for his family. But it was when it was revealed that Josh had molested five young girls, including his younger sisters, that viewers raised hell and Josh got fired. The fact that Jim Bob and Michelle had worked to cover this up got 19 Kids and Counting canceled. By the skin of their teeth, the Duggars managed to remain on television, piggybacking onto the spinoff, Counting On . But even though his family believes that his evil deeds have been wiped away through his faith, Josh is persona non grata for the network. That has had a real impact on his livelihood, and forced him to focus upon his business interests. Josh has a used car business, and is estimated to be worth about $200,000. That’s no chump change, and it means that he can certainly absorb the $1,000 property loss without his soon-to-be-six children starving. But Jim Bob is worth millions, while Josh is merely comfortable . Josh has to work harder than some of his siblings, in part because he has so many mouths to feed. But also because he’s not raking in money from reality television — or the opportunities that accompany it. Frankly, nobody was going to seek product endorsements from Josh before this lawsuit. Kim donned a custom beaded latex Thierry Mugler dress that took EIGHT months to create. “This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler,” Kim told Vogue on Monday. “So to come and design this gown for me is such an honor.” “This is about eight months in the making… he envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping,” she said. And while she definitely conquered the unique, damp look — people could not stop talking about her extremely tiny waist. After Kim strutted her humongous booty and was literally dripping in crystals on the ~pink~ carpet of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art — everyone instantly went nuts.
