Sometimes, Khloe Kardashian gets roasted by fans over her choices. It’s part of the price of fame, for better or for worse. But this time, she’s getting mom-shamed. Is she using nannies to neglect baby True? Baby True Thompson is almost unbelievably cute, and she just turned one year old on April 12. On Thursday, Khloe and True were spotted out (ostensibly for lunch) in Calabasas. Khloe was dressed casually in a red beanie and was pushing True in a stroller at times. At other moments, she was seen carrying True. Behind her, another woman followed — and it was this woman’s presence that drew the ire of fans. One followers commented: “Khloe acts like she can’t go anywhere without her nanny.” “Nanny is in every pic and place she goes,” the mom-shamer claimed. “She can mother on her own,” accused the hater. “We all do it!” “What a joke,” the comment continued. “She literally can’t go to the market, a party, or lunch without her nanny,” the depricatory words concluded. “Wtf.” Khloe saw the unkind comment and decided to reply with much more courtesy and respect. “I can go anywhere and everywhere,” Khloe correctly asserted. “With whom I choose to.” Khloe revealed: “I choose to treat everybody like family that is in my house.” “I choose to invite whoever wants to come to fun outings,” she continued. It sounds like she’s saying that the nanny wasn’t working, but was trailing behind Khloe on a social outing. She says that it was a delightful group activity. “We all love and enjoy the farmers market,” Khloe claimed. (I hated going to the farmer’s market as a kid, but more power to her) “And,” Khloe explained. “It’s so fun to go places and create memories together.” She expressed: “I hope you have a happy and blessed day.” Khloe then added something of a post script to her comment. “I also hope that you are very kind to the ones that are kind to you,” she wrote. “The ones that are not,” Khloe suggested. “Probably need your kindness even more.” We’ve at times been critical of how Khloe has responded to certain things, but we’ll say this: That is some of the classiest clapback that we’ve ever seen. Real talk: we don’t know if Khloe actually invited her nanny to spend her off hours at the farmer’s market. Like, if it’s true, that would be a lot to unpack. But there’s no shame in having a nanny to give full-time care and attention to your child. Khloe is clearly a loving, doting, and present mother to True. Her baby girl is her entire world. But Khloe also has a whole career, and is a celebrity who encounters famous friends and also fans wherever she goes. That’s a lot for a single mom. Nannies are great, and we wish that all parents could afford quality childcare. For so many reasons, Khloe is making a responsible choice by making sure that True has ’round-the-clock care, from her and from others. It sounds like the mom-shamers are just envious because Khloe has a little help. That’s pretty pathetic, don’t you think?
