A total of 25 recordings are being inducted into the National Recording Registry and Hov’s work is among those being honored. Alongside Curtis Mayfield’s “Superfly,” Cyndi Lauper’s “She’s So Unusual,” and Nina Simone’s “Mississippi Goddam,” Jay-Z’s The Blueprint will be recognized. “The most contemporary recording is hip-hop mogul Jay-Z’s 2001 album The Blueprint , which solidified his reputation as one of the greatest rappers in music,” a press release for this year’s additions states. “The National Recording Registry honors the music that enriches our souls, the voices that tell our stories and the sounds that mirror our lives,” Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden said in the announcement. “The influence of recorded sound over its nearly 160-year history has been profound and technology has increased its reach and significance exponentially. The Library of Congress and its many collaborators are working to preserve these sounds and moments in time, which reflect our past, present and future,” she states. With songs like “Never Change,” “Song Cry,” “Renegade,” “Takeover” and more The Blueprint is definitely an unforgettable moment in Jay-Z’s career—not to mention the album debuted at number one in the U.S., selling over 400,000 copies in its first week. As you’ve probably heard by now, Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian again last month. As we creep up on the 12-month anniversary of Tristan’s first cheating scandal, we think it’s safe to say the past year has been quite an emotional roller coaster for Khloe. But according to Khloe herself, there’s one silver lining that’s made this entire mess worthwhile. On Tuesday, a fan tweeted a moving message of support to Khloe: “I genuinely hope @khloekardashian meets someone one day that treats her with the respect she deserves,” the user wrote. “She’s been through more shiddy [sic] relationships than any one person deserves. At least she got baby True.” Aside from the time she bashed Jordyn on Twitter, Khloe has mostly been silent about her ex’s infidelities. But this time, she was quick to respond with a tweet that gave fans the impression that Khloe’s future is still looking bright: “Baby True made it all worth it,” she replied. “She is my heart and soul,” Khloe added. “I get so excited for every little day with her.” We don’t need to tell you that Khloe has been in the news a lot lately. And yet, despite the constant coverage and the endless scrutiny of her social media pages, we very rarely hear anything about Khloe that inspires hope that she’ll persevere. And that’s odd, because for years, Khloe has been regarded as the most resilient of her sisters, a figure who inspired millions with emotional toughness. So here’s the long-awaited reminder that that toughness has remained intact throughout all of this. Khloe has been through the fire these past 12 months, there’s no doubt about it. But adversity is the only true measure of resilience, and we’re sure many Khloe fans have gained even greater respect for their favorite Kardashian.

According to a dramatic rumor making the rounds, Stevie J may have a reason to be both very excited and very afraid in the near future. First, the excitement: Faith Hill may be pregnant with the reality star's next baby! We'll explain why many social users believe this to be the case down below, but first we'll explain why this may be reason for the VH1 personality to actually be scared. And that reason is this: Dude has fallen seriously far behind on previous child support payments; we learned last summer that he owes $1.3 million to his baby mamas ! Stevie J managed to avoid a jail sentence, and he is married to Hill , so he wouldn't exactly owe her money for the alleged bun in her oven — but still. Can he really afford another child? (Stevie already has six, by five different women.) As for why folks think this is a possiblity? Well… VH1 released the super trailer for Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 8 last week. (Check it out on this page!) According to the not-always-reliable editors at Media Takeout, Stevie and Hill recently told producers that they are ready for “their own reality show — unaffiliated with Love & Hip Hop” and that one of their ideas for the spinoff is “Faith’s pregnancy.” Back in February, the couple Hill said the following on Grammys night: “We’re working on finishing up our EP, doing a few TV projects, producing a few TV projects… and if [Stevie] had his way working on an addition to our family.” So there you have it. Not exactly a confirmation she's expecting, we know. For the record, Hill has four children herself. Viewers can look forward to plenty of insight into Stevie and Faith's romance on Season 8, which kicks off on March 25. Spice, meanwhile, will be annoyed by the industry's double standards about skin color and actually bleach hers white to prove a point. Rasheeda will be very busy with Kannon, while also encouraging Kirk to be a better dad. Bambi and Scrappy will be focusing on their baby, Breland, but all will not be rainbows and unicorns between Momma Dee and Bambi's mother. We have an important update on the sad death of Kristoff St. John. Over a month since the shocking loss of this soap opera star, the coroner’s office has released its official autopsy results, alerting the public to the reason St. John passed away back on February 3. This coroner’s report has listed the cause of death as “hypertrophic heart disease” with “effects of ethanol” cited as another significant condition. The document also deems the death accidental and says other conditions contributing , but not related to the immediate cause of death, included myocardial bridging of the left anterior descending coronary artery and the effects of ethanol. The 52-year-old – best known for his long-running role on The Young and the Restless – was found dead in his home in the neighborhood of Woodland Hills about six years ago. It was believed at the time that an excess of alcohol consumption had played a role in this tragedy… but the cause of his death was deferred by the Los Angeles County Coroner until an ” additional investigation ” was finished. St. John’s passing came more than four years after his son, Julian, died by suicide following treatment for mental health issues. In November of 2017, meanwhile, St. John opened up about his own mental health struggles after being hospitalized and undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. “To all of mi [sic] IG peeps. Thanks for throwing out a life preserver,” he wrote on Instagram about a year and a half ago, adding: “Words cannot express the gratitude that I feel to have so much love that you bathe me in…anoint me with…cloak me with. I am humbled.” He added: “Life is precious. I look forward to continuing this journey together with all of you…us. Because at the end of the day, at the magic hour, we are warmed with an all knowing presence of light and love. My heart beats to the music of our creation. “You are an integral piece of my personal spiritual puzzle, as I hope I am to yours. I love you…forever.” According to these newly-unveiled autopsy papers, Kristoff was admitted to Las Encinas Mental Health Hospital in Pasadena on January 26, 2019 for “threatening to hurt himself and alcohol abuse.” He returned to his Woodland Hills home from the mental health facility on February 1, just two days prior to his death, the report detailed. There’s no way of knowing what was going through St. John’s head just before he died, in other words, but he clearly had been struggling for a period of time prior to his death. The actor who originated the role of Neil Winters on the aforementioned daytime drama. He was a leged in this industry. “The news of Kristoff St. John’s passing is heartbreaking. He was a very talented actor and an even better person,” CBS Television Network and Sony Pictures Television said in a joint statement, adding: “For those of us who were fortunate enough to work with him on The Young and the Restless for the last 27 years, he was a beloved friend whose smile and infectious laugh made every day on set a joy and made audiences love him. “On behalf of the Y&R cast and crew, CBS and Sony Pictures Television, we offer our heartfelt sympathy to his family and loved ones, especially his two daughters, Paris and Lola.” The actor is survived by fiancée Kseniya Mikhaleva, ex-wives Mia St. John and Allana Nadal and two children: Paris, his daughter with Mia; and Lola, his daughter with Nadal. Earlier in March, Mikhaleva, said she would not be able to attend his funeral. “Several weeks ago I applied for an ’emergency’ visa for the funeral to say goodbye my fiancé and beloved,” she wrote on Instagram. “The reply from the Embassy was ‘No’. My heart is broken.” She concluded: “I am going through this with a huge pain in my heart,and realize that I don’t have opportunity to say goodbye to him and put flowers on his grave. It is not right, not fair. Fly, my love, and finally find peace.” So very sad. May Kristoff St. John rest in peace.
