Let’s be real, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard aren’t going to be winning any “Parents of the Year” awards anytime soon. This is for many reasons. One is that they’re Duggars, so many people think they practice potentially abusive techniques like blanket training , which, if you’re new, is basically putting your baby on a blanket and beating him whenever he leaves it. So, you know, he gets scared to go anywhere off the blanket and you can cook or craft or take care of your 12 other kids or whatever. Another issue with Jill and Derick is that they’ve both said some not-so-nice things about their two precious sons, Israel and Samuel. Recently, Jill seemed to admit that she loves Derick more than their children , and Derick used a bible verse to call the boys a “curse.” There are all the times that they’ve taken the kids to dangerous locations — they even went to Central America during her second pregnancy when the Zika virus was a huge concern. We could name tons of other instances in which their parenting has been criticized, but you get the picture, right? Lots of people aren’t fans of lots of the things these people do with their kids. And now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s move on to the latest issue! Jill and Duggar recently uploaded a whole bunch of pictures to their family website , and that’s nice of them. Since they got fired from Counting On for Derick’s bizarre transphobic rants about Jazz Jennings, it’s really the only way fans can keep up with them. While there were several cute photos of little Israel and Sam doing things like cuddling in a toddler bed and playing and visiting other relatives, one stood out. It’s this one of Sam: So that’s terrifying, right? Sam is only a year old, and there’s no arguing that this is just not safe. “Sam is a climber,” they captioned the photo, and yeah, we can see that. But those kinds of chairs aren’t that stable, and the way he’s perched right on the arm and leaning on the back … It really looks like he’s just a slip away from a serious accident. And you know the folks over on Reddit were not pleased with all of this. One user from the Counting On subreddit asked “How are they not getting him tf off of there? Why on earth would you take a photo? Doesn’t seem like the best parenting.” “Like … kids do stuff and you can’t always stop it … but if you can stop it, you do,” another person wrote. “You don’t just take a picture.” As someone else pointed out, “Plus taking the picture just reinforces the kids behavior because it’s giving them positive attention.” Another good point was made with “You’d think after experiencing TWO traumatic births, they’d be a little more careful with their kids.” It really is just a weird photo, you know? Many toddlers do like to climb, and some can climb themselves to dangerous situations before you can get to them. It happens. But as these Reddit users explained, the bad part is that instead of getting Sam down before he could fall, they paused to take a picture. And then they posted the picture on their website. Kim Kardashian may actually just have declared peace with Taylor Swift. And we can’t believe it. Or can we? The reality star posted a story on Snapchat featuring her glam look, but it wasn’t her flawless skin that fans cared about. Nope. It was the fact that Taylor’s hit song ‘Delicate’ was playing in the background of the video. Obviously, fans went crazy over the subtle gesture the 38-year-old made and we all are wondering the same thing: could it be true? Needless to say, the video caused some speculation that Kim was definitely trying to make amends. Some fans found the whole situation humorous and Hollywood Life shares tweets from @g1veharryaoscar who says, “Lmao Kim Kardashian listening to delicate is the funniest thing omg.” And @EllieLouisaaa wrote “Hahahaahahaha Kim Kardashian is listening to Delicate by Taylor Swift on her story aw cute x.” Other fans (probably Taylor’s) found the whole situation very hypocritical though. “What’s the most ironic thing you’ve seen happen? – Kim listening to Taylor’s song pretending she didn’t try to sabotage her career,” tweeted @delicate_styles and “The delicate lyrics included ‘my reputation has never been worse’ and Kim and her husband are directly responsible for that so how about she goes and buys herself a conscience.” While the insult may be harsh, it’s not necessarily wrong. The song is clearly a love anthem to boyfriend Joe Alwyn, but it’s also about Kim and Kanye’s fallout with the singer back in 2016. Taylor’s takedown album was partly targeted at Kim and Kanye, along with other past romances, but the album clearly expresses that Taylor… yeah, she’s not a fan of the married couple. In case you somehow missed out on all the drama back in 2016, Kim shared a video (also on Snapchat) of her husband calling Taylor to approve of a lyric about her in his song “Famous.” Taylor claimed she had never approved of the line. The media, along with Kim, quickly branded the singer – a snake. Welcome to album number 6, Reputation During the kickoff night on the Reputation tour, Taylor explained and opened up to all of her fans about why snakes were such a prominent symbol for her tour, according to The Washington Post. She told her loyal fans, “a couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on. Then a lot of people were calling me a lot of things on social media. And I went through some really low times for a while because of it.” Taylor then concluded with an inspirational speech on how to not let bullies bring you down and that you shouldn’t care about what people think of you, especially if they don’t know you. But, that’s so three years ago. Is Taylor ready to actually forgive and forget? As his wife sat front and center during his trial, El Chapo’s reported mistress testified against him during his drug trafficking trial in Brooklyn. Lucero Guadalupe Sanchez Lopez, 29, gave teary-eyed testimony of how Chapo made her his “house-wife” and recounted a recounted a three-year relationship in which she said she periodically slept with Guzman, helped him buy hundreds of kilos of marijuana and joined the butt-naked alleged leader of the Sinaloa drug cartel in escaping Mexican Marines though a secret underground tunnel under his bathroom tub. Chapo’s wife simply smiled and laughed as his side-piece flipped on her husband in the courtroom. Source: Stockbyte / Getty After Multiple Reported Instances Of Discrimination, She Had Enough One Black girl is coming for the entire Blue Valley School District after she was told her skin was “too dark” to perform during a school dance. According to The Kansas City Star , Camille Sturdivant graduated from Blue Valley Northwest High School in May 2018, and she was only one of two Black students on the 14-member Dazzlers dance team. According to a lawsuit filed by Sturdivant in U.S. District court, she suffered racial discrimination and was ostracized from dance team events out of retaliation for complaints she made in regards to her race. It was in 2017 that the dance team choreographer Kevin Murakami allegedly made remarks about Sturdivant’s skin being too dark. He said it would distract the audience from looking at the other dancers. “Murakami also told Sturdivant that her skin color clashed with the color of the costumes,” the suit said. Then in 2018, more pasty shenanigans allegedly went down when the dance team’s coach, Carley Fine, was fired for racial comments she made about Sturdivant, according to the lawsuit. Shortly before Sturdivant’s graduation, someone gave her the coach’s phone to play music for the dance team. According to the suit, Sturdivant saw messages between Fine and Murakami talking about how she recently won a spot on the Golden Girls dance team at the University of Missouri for the next year. The choreographer wrote, “THAT DOESN’T”T MAKE SENSE. I’m so mad.” The coach responded, “It actually makes my stomach hurt.” She then added, “Bc she’s (expletive) black. I hate that.” Sturdivant was sickened by the beige rage, and she showed the messages to her parents, according to the suit. They then showed the messages to the school principle. The coach was fired the next day, and she wasn’t allowed to be on school property or have contact with Sturdivant or any other members of the dance team. However, according to the suit, the former coach was seen at the school and with members of the dance squad multiple times afterwards. Sturdivant’s family also said that a team banquet paid for by the parents was canceled. However, they later learned that Fine and the other dancers, except Sturdivant, organized a dinner on the Plaza… On the same date as the canceled banquet. Smh. During the final dance performance of the school year, all of the team members, except Sturdivant and the other Black teammate, rocked ribbons on their costumes with the initials CL for Carley Fine, according to the suit. Sturdivant and the other Black student were also excluded from the team photos taken after the event, which was on school property. Now, Sturdivant’s lawsuit names the district, school principal Amy Pressly, Fine and Katie Porter, the parent of another dancer and a school district teacher, as the defendants. The Blue Valley district released the following statement regarding the lawsuit: “Respectful and meaningful relationships between staff and students are at the heart of Blue Valley’s culture. Discrimination of any kind has no place here. The District expects staff to treat all students with respect at all times, and any report that this expectation has not been fulfilled is taken very seriously. As stated in the Complaint, on May 1, 2018, Mrs. Sturdivant showed Dr. Pressly the text message between Mr. Murakami and Ms. Fine. Ms. Fine’s employment with the District was separated the following day on May 2, 2018.” Mhm. We’ll find out if that same energy works in court. The damages being sought by Sturdivant are unspecified.

There had been protests outside of the Sony offices in the aftermath of the Surviving R. Kelly documentary. Since the airing of the documentary earlier this month, artists such as Lady Gaga , Chance The Rapper and others have apologized for collaborating with Kelly with Gaga removing her Kelly collaboration “Do What U Want,” from streaming services. Kelly has also been removed from the RCA website. He had been signed to Jive since the beginning of his career in the early 1990s when he was in a group, R. Kelly and the Public Announcement. When Jive became part of Sony BMG, he was moved under the Sony umbrella. He had been under contract at RCA, a subsidiary of Sony since 2012.
Disgraced Southern Charm alum Thomas Ravenel claims Kathryn’s mental illness prevents her from being a good mother . This custody battle is downright nasty. Now, Kathryn is firing back, and saying that Thomas has a love for drugs and a psychiatric diagnosis of his own. … Nobody is pulling their punches in this vicious, vicious custody battle. According to documents obtained by The Blast , Kathryn Dennis has filed documents of her own in retaliation for Thomas’ accusations. In legal papers, Kathryn insists that Thomas “identify every prescription drug and/or illegal drug that you have used during the past 6 years.” “For each prescription drug,” the papers request. “Please identify the doctor who prescribed the drug.” And she also demands to know “where you purchased your prescription drugs.” After all, plenty of people find illegal ways to obtain drugs that are perfectly legal. In 2016, Kathryn lost custody of her children after testing positive for marijuana, which is still criminalized in South Carolina. She regained partial custody of Kensie and Saint in early 2018. She and Thomas currently share a 50/50 split. She wants full custody. Now, in court documents, Kathryn alleges that Thomas threw a party in which illegal drugs were present. “What date was it when you threw a party in your home downtown with illegal drugs present,” Kathryn asks. “And,” the papers detail. “You informed fellow party participants while standing in the bathroom that mushrooms don’t show up on drug screens?” Her implication with that question is that she probably has witnesses. Kathryn’s incident with marijuana was three years ago, but she’s not the only one whose personal history includes drugs. Thomas Ravenel once completed a 30-day rehab program. More significantly, he served 10 months in federal prison — which also killed his political career. This was after his June 2007 indictment ona charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute. The drug in question was some volume of cocaine that was less than 500 grams. Kathryn asks Thomas to produce “any and all evidence (whether photos, statements, videos, documents, etc.)” that she ”‘abuses prescription drugs.’” As we have previously reported, Thomas accused Kathryn of actively abusing illegal substances. He even claims that she makes a habit of buying, selling, and trading prescription medications. Thomas’ allegations say that Kathryn does this with friends, her Southern Charm castmates, and even producers on the show. Most seriously, he claims that Kathryn has been under the heavy influence of drugs while being the sole caregiver of her young children. Thomas has also alleged that there are vague “problems” with their children and that Kathryn is to blame. He says that Kathryn abused substances while pregnant, causing problems for Saint, and didn’t properly bond with Kensie, giving her behavior issues. “His eustachian tubes weren’t draining, so he had his adenoids out and needed tubes in his ears,” a source explained to People . The insider characterized that this was “like lots of little kids his age who have that same problem.” Kathryn wants to see “any evaluations of your son that have been performed by a medical doctor as to his abilities.” Finally, Kathryn turns the tables on Thomas, who accuses her of a litany of psychiatric disorders. “Have you ever been evaluated for a potential diagnosis of bipolar disorder or any other mental health issue, diagnosis or illness?” she asks. Kathryn demands “copies of all your medical, psychological, counseling or other related records” from January 1, 2008 to the present day. She also wants “a comprehensive print-out of all prescription drug purchases made by you” from January 1, 2014 to to the present day. Kathryn requests “all medical and/or counseling records that you have obtained that relate to” her and the accusations he made against her. She also wants “all rehabilitation records that you have obtained related to” her. She demands “all drug/alcohol test results/reports that you have in your possession that you have had Kathryn Dennis take and/or which you have taken.” In other words, does he have evidence to back up his accusations? Kathryn then suggests that Thomas has been making use of a private detective. She wants “copies of any private detective reports, notes, emails, correspondence, videos, pictures, GPS logs, billing statements.” These should be logs “showing the time & date of surveillance and billing rate,” court documents say. “And/or any related documents obtained by your private detective,” Kathryn asks. “Which have been retained by you or your counsel.” Private detectives are not attorneys, doctors, or religious figures. Their records can be subpoenaed. Finally, Kathryn gets to the most serious and downright scary accusations against Thomas. She’s not the one making these. Kathryn asks that Thomas “identify each and every woman who has accused you of either assaulting her and/or sexually assaulting her.” Thomas is instructed to “produce all text messages, email messages and/or other communications that you have sent to or received” from a number of women. Kathryn identifies the women in the documents, and wants record of their conversations “since January 1, 2016.” She wants “a copy of your complete file and any related documents regarding the sexual assault allegations made by” Nanny Dawn. Kathryn also demands records of “any other women who have made allegations of inappropriate conduct by you.” She asks for copies of “any and all settlement agreements that you reached and payments that you have made.” We have already heard of one woman whom Thomas allegedly paid to keep quiet. Kathryn wants to know how many more there are. Finally, Kathryn wants to know if Thomas has “had any discussions” with or “about marriage and/or plans to marry Ashley Jacobs.” That’s a hell of a question. Obviously, some of this is typical custody warfare. Allegations and insinuations about drugs and mental illness are largely unfair on both sides.
