Rihanna is suing her dad Ronald Fenty for the trademark “Fenty.” According to The Umbrella singer her father is trying to use the likeness that her career created to profit off of their last name. In the lawsuit documents Rih claims that her father started an entertainment company and was conducting business improperly which looked bad on the “Fenty” brand. He also tried to create hotel resorts under the name “Fenty.” Rihanna claims in the lawsuit that he even tried to get Fenty trademarked but obviously Rihanna owns alll of that! She’s suing her dad saying that although she received his last name, her career created the world known brand of “Fenty.” We’ll see how that pans out. News broke today that the makeup and music mogul is suing her dad, Ronald Fenty, along with his company called Fenty Entertainment, for exploiting her name for his own gains. According to court docs , Rih claims that her father created the entertainment company and has been soliciting business acting as agents of the singer. Rihanna claims that her father booked a $15 million tour in Latin America and two concerts at the Staples Center in LA and the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for $400,000, for which she says she has no involvement in. Rihanna, who has multiple business endeavors under the Fenty name including Fenty Beauty, Savage X Fenty, and Fenty PUMA, says she sent several cease and desist letters to her father and his partner, but is now suing him as a last resort. Even though suing your father seems harsh, Rihanna isn’t the only celebrity that’s had to handle some tough situations against family members. Here’s a list of some more celebrities that got an unfortunately close look at how money–and a lot of other things–can make family turn into foes. 1. Kanye West VS. His Cousin Kanye West hasn’t been quiet about having to pay his cousin $250,000 for a laptop–in songs alone, he mentions the situation more than once. He first addresses the scenario in “Real Friends,” basically admitting that his cousin extorted him with some adult videos on his laptop. “ I had a cousin that stole my laptop that I was f***in’ bi***es on Paid that n***a 250 thousand just to get it from him” On the same album, on “No More Parties In LA,” West makes it known that he has no hard feelings toward his cousin even after having to give him a quarter million. “And as far as real friends, tell all my cousins I love ’em Even the one that stole the laptop, you dirty motherf***er” Well, not exactly no hard feelings. But the love is still there, because they’re family. 2. Jay-Z VS. Solange Not exactly a fight over money, but like Beyonce says, “of course sometimes s**t go down. When it’s a billion dollars on an elevator.” Legend says that Solange was being protective of her sister and came at Jay-Z after his cheating allegations came to light–but of course, that information isn’t going to make it out of the Knowles-Carter household. One thing’s for sure: Bey wasn’t doing anything to stop her sister from throwing some punches, so it’s a pretty good assumption that Solange was stepping up on her sister’s behalf. Hov actually spoke on the infamous elevator fight on the Rap Radar podcast back in 2017, but he didn’t elaborate on the cause. He explained: “We had one disagreement ever. Before and after, we’ve been cool. She’s like my sister. I will protect her. That’s my sister, not my sister-in-law. My sister. Period.” Nobody wins when the family feuds. 3. Kobe Bryant VS. His Parents It’s not surprising that multiple celebs have had to deal with family members trying to capitalize off their success–and Kobe Bryant knows exactly what that is like. The former Lakers star had such a big problem with his parents auctioning off valuable memorabilia they kept at his house that he decided to take them to court. They finally reached a settlement which allowed his parents to auction only six of the items, which was 10% of the original listing–which would still sell for more than $500,000. The items included items such as Kobe’s old school uniforms and replicas of NBA championship rings he had made for his parents as gifts. They were given $450,000 up front for the sale lot from Goldin Auctions, which they then used to buy a house in Las Vegas. After the settlement, both his parents made a public statement as an apology to fans and their son. 4. Frank Ocean VS. His Dad Frank Ocean’s situation with family lawsuits is a little bit different than the rest on the list–because the star is actually the one being sued. The singer’s father, Calvin Cooksey, sued Ocean for libel and is currently seeking $14 million. The whole thing started when the singer told a not-so-flattering story about his father in a Tumblr post . “I was six years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a f****t as he dragged me out a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn’t be served because she was dirty. That was the last afternoon I saw my father and the first time I heard that word, I think, although it wouldn’t shock me if it wasn’t.” Frank’s father denies that this exchange ever happened. “I have never discriminated against anyone transgender or heterosexual or homosexual,” he wrote to Rolling Stone . “The events that defendant describes on June 21st 2016, that I called a transgender waitress F****T NEVER HAPPENED … The defendant is a scam artist, a fraud and a hypocrite who deceive[d] the LGBT community.” This lawsuit between Frank and his dad is still ongoing. 5. The Kardashians VS. Their Stepmom Even though family feuds are pretty tough to imagine, it’s a lot easier to see how a family would have a poor relationship with one of their step-parents. Ellen Kardashian was married to Robert Kardashian Sr. before his untimely death, so she had personal items belonging to the Kardashian children–which included their personal journals and private photos. The family ended up later suing her for copyright over these items and wanted $500,000 in damages because they claimed she hid them. The family ended up settling in 2014 while the diaries and photos were returned to the Kardashians.

The singer made the exciting announcement via her very own YouTube channel on Tuesday morning. She will be the first female host of the show in 14 years. “I’m soooo EXCITED to announce that I’ll be hosting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards !! There’s so much in store and I CAN’T WAIT for y’all to see it ALL come to life ” she wrote in the caption of her video. Alicia Keys is only the fifth woman to ever host the Grammys in the show’s 61 year span, and on top of that, she’s only the third woman of color. This gig will also make the first woman to host the show in 14 years, following Queen Latifah in 2005, Rosie O’Donnell in 2000 and 1999, Ellen DeGeneres in 1997 and 1996, and Whoopi Goldberg in 1992. The choice to have a woman host this year is important for the show, especially after controversy during last year’s program. At last year’s Grammys, only six women were nominated in the show’s major categories, and Alessia Cara was the only woman to receive an award during the entire televised portion of the show. Along with the announcement of Keys as 2019’s host, 15 women are nominated in the top four categories this year, compared to only six in 2018. Congrats to Alicia Keys!
Watch TV One’s “Three’s Complicated” Movie There’s a new TV One movie that features a familiar face and a CRAZY plot line. “Three’s Complicated” is executive produced and starring “Shameless’” Shanola Hampton as Deja, a 42-year-old divorcee who ends up in a precarious dating scenario with a younger man. Things get extraaaaa spicy when it’s discovered that that younger man, Sonny (Tyler Lepley), may also be hooking up with her college-aged daughter Eleni (Kyanna Simone Simpson). It all begins when Deja is passed over at work and decides on a night out at the bar to drown her sorrows. She ends up getting smashed to smithereens by Sonny who’s ten years her junior. We have an update on Rob Kardashian’s love life. Which is to say the following: Rob Kardashian apparently has a love life once again! For reasons that are yet to be fully explained, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Alexis Skyy definitely appears to be getting frisky with the occasional sock designer, as both she and Rob have shared intimate videos of the other one on Instagram over the last week or so. (No, not the sort of intimate video Skyy allegedly made with Fetty Wap .) These videos and this report come amidst strong rumors that Skyy got into a fight with Blac Chyna. Coincidence? Considering Chyna is Rob’s ex-fiancee and perpetual baby mama? We think so. According to TMZ, Skyy (pictured below) and Chyna went at it during a private party in Los Angeles on Saturday night — and Skyy says Chyna was totally to blame. As Alexis tells it, Chyna invited her over to her table… .. only to then hurl a drink at her out of nowhere. Skyy told TMZ over the weekend that she responded by throwing punches at Chyna, which prompted her to be tossed from the event. However, based on her Instagram account at least, Skyy then waited for Chyna outside of the club in order to finish their fight: From there, Skyy accused Chyna of using cocaine. See for yourself: Fast forward to Monday night and Kardashian shared a series of videos and photos of Skyy making him dinner at what appears to be Kris Jenner‘s Calabasas mansion. This romance setting and date night took place after Rob referrde to Skky as his Women Crush Wednesday. “My WCW… I’ve been wanting you for so long,” Kardashian wrote over a photo of Skyy hours prior to going public with their rendezvous. Chyna, who shares a two-year old girl named Dream with Kardashian, has yet to address the fight or Skyy and Kardashian’s potential romance. But Rob did reply to a Twitter user who asked about Skyy by saying he’s known her for five years. We’re sure they’ve traveled in the same reality show circles (random parties and red carpet events) during this time. Skyy, meanwhile, is 24 years old, and of Jamaican and Dominican descent; she grew up on Long Island, New York. Just like Chyna, she started out as a stripper before moving on the world of reality television, having given birth to a daughter named Alaiya in Januart of last year. Fetty Wap is the little girl’s father. Based on the photos above, it’s not hard to see what Kardashian sees in Alexis Skyy. But what does Alexis Skyy see in Kardashian? Cold, hard cash. We mean… we have no idea.
On Monday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules , there was a good deal of talk about James Kennedy’s drinking problem . And while it certainly seems as though James has some serious issues with the sauce, it’s important to bear two things in mind: 1. As Brittany Cartwright so aptly observed, dude is a colossal douche even when he’s stone sober, and 2. He’s certainly not the only former SUR staffer who gets a little ornery when he’s had a few too many. For example, at this point, Stassi Schroeder’s tendency to get hammered and flip the f-ck out on her loved ones at her birthday parties is such an established pattern that it’s become a running joke among the cast. Of course, it’s the sort of thing that’s funny when you look back on it a year later, but painful for everyone involved (including Stassi) in the direct aftermath. This week’s installment of Vanderpump was bookended by Stassi meltdowns, but to be fair, she may have been at least partially sober and not totally at fault for the second one. The episode started off with the fallout from Stassi’s weird Game of Thrones /Christmas-themed 30th birthday bash — which ended with her going off on boyfriend Beau Clark , who decided to party a while longer rather than joining Stassi in bed at her command. “I’m really sorry,” a sobbing Schroeder told Clark the day after her boozed-up tirade. “It was like you d*ck punched my heart,” Clark responded. “I don’t want to do that with you. I don’t want to be mean,” said Stassi, clearly devastated by her own behavior. “I don’t know. I’m so f–king concerned that you’re going to leave me because of the way that I act … I’m a d**k. I’m an erect d**k,” she cried. Calling yourself a limp d-ck would probably be a worse self-burn, but we see Stassi’s point. “I’m not going to find something like him again I just have to be really careful not to screw it up,” she later said in a confessional segment. Stassi was able to patch things up with Beau, much to the delight of her mother … who proceeded to shine a big bright spotlight on Stassi’s psychological issues by shaming her daughter for nearly driving Beau away. “I don’t want you to be yourself and mess it up. I’m hoping he’s a strong enough guy to go the distance,” Dayna complained after loudly griping that Stassi “hasn’t frozen her eggs yet.” The situation later led to Stassi storming away from a group dinner and confessing that she fears ending up like her hard-partying mom. “Sometimes I get this victim mentality and freak out like my mom. And I’m scared that one day that’s going to be me,” she wept. Booze plays a big role in just about every non-competitive reality show, but it’s possible that no show on TV has such a problematic relationship with the sauce as Vanderpump . It’s not just that the SUR staff knocks back more hard stuff than the cast of Mad Men , it’s the fact that several of them have basically begged for help, and their pleas consistently fall on deaf ears. The severity of the situation is not lost on the entire cast, as Lala Kent recently revealed that she’s now sober after “losing [herself]” in the LA club scene. As terrible as James is, the rest of the cast should have at least attempted an intervention before booting him out of the group. Last night’s episode featured a scene in which Stassi broke plates while screaming about her drinking problem in a rage room. When your inability to handle your booze pisses you off as much as sky-high rents in LA, it might be time for your friends to step in. Walmart has totally betrayed their target demographic. Don't worry — they still say “Merry Christmas,” in case for one fleeting moment you forgot about every year's biggest holiday. But they have banned a Texas woman who was riding around their stoor in a cart, drinking wine from a Pringles can. Police were called to a Walmart in Wichita, Kansas. A woman was reportedly riding in circles around the Wal-Mart parking lot in an electric cart. She did this for several hours on Friday. What really makes her so memorable is that, during her escapades in the parking lot, she was drinking white. Her wine vessel of choice? A Pringles can. Drinking wine out of a Pringles can is your right as an American if you're in your own home, over 21, and not on probation. This woman was doing circles in a parking lot while drinking. An electric cart may not be the same thing as a car, but it's best to not drive anything while impaired by alcohol, you know? Police arrived and tracked her down in a nearby restaurant. Upon finding her, they instructed her to not return to the Walmart. The woman was not arrested. The reason that we cannot get more specific about her identity than Texas Woman is because her name was not released. In case you were imagining this going down in the wee hours, think again. The police received the call about the woman at about 9am on Friday morning. She was up before dawn, circling the parking lot and drinking her, uh, breakfast. Hey, it's the most important meal of the day, right? No one was hurt and this is, on multiple levels, an objectively funny story. There is something to be said about the perils of alcoholism and how it is normalized in our culture. If this woman had been doing lines of coke in the Walmart parking lot, it would have set off alarm bells. (Also, she would have been super arrested) But because she was drinking wine, we sort of laugh this off and collectively hope that this was a temporary lapse and not part of a pattern. Realistically, though, anyone who who is chugging wine out of a Pringles can while doing laps in a scooter probably has a few issues to work out. Maybe the biggest actual shock in all of this was that Pringles cans are so water-tight that they can contain liquids for drinking. Apparently, they are. It makes sense, because you wouldn't want your chips getting soggy or your non-chips getting greasy. And that knowledge also explains why YouTube has so, so many tutorials on how to turn a Pringles can into a bong. There truly is no limit to human ingenuity.

According to reports from The Blast , the makeup mogul is suing her dad, Ronald Fenty–along with his company called Fenty Entertainment–for exploiting her name for his own gains. According to court docs, Ms. Robyn Fenty claims that her father along with another man, Moses Perkins, created the entertainment company and have been soliciting business acting as agents of the singer, the site reports. The singer says she is not involved with Fenty Entertainment what-so-ever, and that “Although Mr. Fenty is Rihanna’s father, he does not have, and never has had, authority to act on Rihanna’s behalf.” Rihanna claims that her father booked a $15 million tour in Latin America and two concerts at the Staples Center in LA and the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for $400,000, for which she says she has no involvement in. Rihanna also says that her father claims he got approval from her label, Roc Nation, before booking, but the singer argues that no one from Roc Nation knew about the endeavors.
