Last week, we all saw video of Kate Gosselin claiming she’s totally cool with Hannah avoiding her like the plague. A new report claims that Kate’s claim was like the contents of the Mother’s Day cards she receives — nothing but polite lies. Apparently, Hannah has skipped out on these family trips because Kate straight-up does not tell her about them or invite her. “So I noticed Hannah’s not here right now,” a producer observed to Kate in the Kate Plus 8 clip. (Seriously, when are they going to change that show’s name to something more mathematically accurate?) “She’s with her dad,” Kate explained. “And she was not able to come,” “And that’s sad,” she added after a pause. Kate then accused: “That’s the second trip here, actually, for us that she hasn’t been with us.” “Hannah … it was sad for us because … you know, they’re getting older,” Kate later explained while speaking to the camera. “And they’re making different choices,” she acknowledged. “And they’re doing different things.” A lot of control freaks have trouble letting go of total micromanagement. “And she opted to stay back with her dad, actually,” Kate stated. She then added: “Which again, you know, her choice.” “Whatever,” Kate expressed. Fun fact! People saying whatever is not “It’s not optimal for Mom,” she admitted. Kate then claimed: “But it’s something that I support,” “And you know,” she concluded. “We just adjust and move on.” An inside source tells RadarOnline that Kate has been everything but supportive of Hannah. “Kate saying she is supportive of Hannah is outrageous!” the insider exclaimed. Apparently, claims that they retain much of a bond at all are nothing short of absurd. According to the source: “She has not given her a birthday present.” “She didn’t even tell Hannah about all of these family trips,” the insider adds. Just for the record, if you’re a parent, even if your 14 year old (wisely) wants nothing to do with you, you still owe them a birthday present. Another report recently described their actual relationship. “[She] rarely sees or talks with Hannah,” the insider described. “But they do have some contact.” “Jon allows her to go over anytime she wants,” the source noted. The insider then concluded: “but Kate never asks her to come.” Jon has stated in the past that he does insist that his kids maintain relationships with their siblings, but that he understands if they don’t want to speak to him. So why is Jon so chill about some kids not talking to him while Kate seems considerably unchill about Hannah and Collin breathing free air? Well, Jon understands that he made some major screwups. It is 100% valid for his kids to be angry with him. He also understands that the majority of his kids are living in a toxic household under Kate’s tyrranical rule. Kids under the influence of a parent like Kate can be expected to nod and gree with them. It’s a survival mechanism. That Hannah and Collin broke free shows their extraordinary courage. It’s only been five months since Meghan Markle welcomed her first child . But given the fact that they went with “Archie” for the kid, it stands to reason that she and Harry would want another crack at the naming process. We kid the Sussexes because we love them! But seriously, folks, word on the street is that Meghan is pregnant with baby number two . And when we say “the street,” we mean social media, because we never actually go outside. Anyway, as you may have heard, Meghan and Harry are on tour in South Africa at the moment. It’s one of Meg’s first royal engagements since becoming a mom, and not surprisingly, she and Harry are being photographed non-stop. And as with past royal tours, this means Meghan is forced to endure two very specific types of scrutiny: First, there’s the never-ending commentary about her fashion choices. Don’t get us wrong, we’re sure a limitless supply of cool clothes from the world’s top designers is one of the major perks of being a royal — but it must be more than a little annoying to catch flak for repeating an outfit while touring a foreign continent. The other type of constant inspection Meghan is forced to endure comes courtesy of the millions of amateur obstetricians who are forever holding her midsection up to a microscope. Many of these people are convinced that Meghan is currently expecting her second child. This conclusion appears to be based on nothing other than a handful of amateur photos. But hey, let’s indulge the rumor mill for a moment, shall we? “The camera never lie[s],” a fan named Fanie Jason captioned the pic above. “Meghan Markle could be pregnant again or my imagination is running ahead of me. Some of the photos I took of Meghan and Harry in Cape Town,” she added. Sure. It’s entirely possible that Meghan is pregnant in this photo. But it’s possible that this is just a case of an awkward angle. It’s also important to point out here that Meghan just passed an entire human being through her birth canal less than half a year ago. There’s an outside chance that she’s a mere mortal, and is therefore not rocking six-pack abs at the moment. Harry and Meg say they’re planning to have one more kid , and sadly, this sort of speculation will likely continue until the day they make the announcement. It’s a sad part of the lifestyle that Meghan signed up for when she married Harry. But hey, at least her outfits have been on-point! Ronnie Magro and Jen Harley are the most dangerous couple in Hollywood. This point is really not up for debate. Days after the Jersey Shore star got arrested , however, an attorney for Ronnie has spoken out and a new report has come to light that may paint a different picture than initially believed. Is Magro really a violent cocaine user who threatened his girlfriend with a knife? Or might he be an especially responsible father who would do anything to protect his kid? Consider the following facts and rumors and try to decide for yourself… 1. Let’s Start Here: Harley and Magro are simply horrible for each other. They became parents in April 2018 when the former gave birth to a girl named Ariana… and within weeks, Jen was trashing Ronnie as a “deadbeat dad” and Ronnie referred to Jen as a “cum dumpster.” 2. And They Stayed Together After That? God, yes. And then also after Harley got arrested for dragging Ronnie down the street by her car and after she hurled a glass ashtray at his head on New Year’s Eve 2018. 3. That’s Crazy. What’s the Latest? Very early on the morning of October 4, Ronnie was arrested for allegedly attacking Jen and even for (allegedly) holding their daughter hostage. 4. Uhhhh, WHAT? It’s true. Reports state that Ronnie and Jen were renting a home in Los Angeles when they got into yet another huge argument. 5. Jen Then Made a Run for It This part of the story seems to have been confirmed. M organ State University has been dedicated to expanding its STEM program and they will be able to move their plans forward with the help of a newly awarded grant. According to HBCU Buzz , the Maryland-based historically Black university recently received a $499,999 grant from the National Science Foundation. National Science Foundation Continues Its Support Of Morgan State University STEM Research With Nearly $500K Grant Award https://t.co/hGMdFoozOY pic.twitter.com/vgAKCp8IwK — HBCU Buzz (@HBCUBuzz) October 3, 2019 The grant will support the growth of the institution’s chemistry, biology and engineering programs with a particular emphasis on research surrounding biofuel production. The funds will go towards a research project called Excellence in Research: Oxidative Stress Induced Impact of Cell-Penetrating Nanoparticles on Cellular Constituents in a Cyanobacterial Model . The university plans on using the grant to work towards closing the racial and gender gaps in STEM by providing mentorship and training for students at all collegiate levels from underrepresented groups. Project participants will receive training on-campus and at the National MagLab which is the largest and highest-powered magnet lab in the world. The project is being led by Viji Sitther , Ph.D. who serves as a biology professor at Morgan State University and National High Magnetic Field Laboratory staff member Huan Chen , Ph.D. “This project enhances our research and scholarly activities as an R2 high research institution while providing our students with internship and graduate school opportunities,” said Hongtao Yu , Ph.D. who serves as the dean of the university’s School of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences. “At a time when sustainable, carbon-neutral energy sources are needed more urgently than ever, Dr. Sitther’s research is a valuable contribution not only to our university but to the world at large.” There has been a major effort to advance STEM programs at HBCUs. In September, Spelman College received funding for the creation of a science, technology, engineering and math center. It was awarded by the Department of Defense. After an interview with Access Hollywood aired, the Invasion Of Privacy superstar was angry at the outlet over twisting words she said about her baby daughter Kulture and it got pretty intense. As reported by THR , Cardi took umbrage with Access Hollywood ‘s titling of the interview where the headline apparently read to suggest that baby Kulture has been calling someone else mommy because Cardi is pulled in so many different directions. However, Cardi explained in her explosive response via IG Live on Thursday that she is serious about her momma duties. From THR : The rapper, mother to daughter Kulture with rapper beau Offset, hopped on Instagram Thursday to share her frustration with 51 million followers in what turned out to be an explosive, expletive-filled rant aimed at Access Hollywood and the editorial decision to allegedly “chop up” her words for “clickbait.” Cardi also threatened to spit at Access — while also mimicking the insult — and, in the rant’s most shocking moment, said this: “Access Hollywood, suck my whole d*ck. Suck a d*ck, I hope your f*cking mom catch AIDS, b*tch.” Cardi shared that she gave a much longer answer about her busy life and how she forgoes a lot of her responsibilities to make sure she has quality time with 1-year-old Kulture. In so many words, Cardi was saying that she works diligently to avoid having a babysitter spend time watching over her daughter that she should be doing. Cardi was on the set of Access Hollywood as part of a press run for the Netflix series, Rhythm + Flow . She also mentioned via her Twitter account that she’ll be taking another break from social media as this latest dustup saw Cardi taking some flack from Internet strangers. Brandon Lee says his production was lifted for the track without his permission, and he’s named both X and Cardi B in a lawsuit. TMZ breaks it down : Record producer Brandon Lee says he wrote a song called “gwenXdonlee4-142” and it was incorporated into a song called “Broad Day.” After the release of “Broad Day,” Lee says Cardi B and Lil Nas X released “Rodeo” this past June. … Lee says in his lawsuit, they’re both built on a 4-measure phrase outlining the cord progression E, F, G, F, E. He also says the tempo is the same, both songs utilize guitar and wind instruments, the drumbeats are the same, the chord progression is similar … among other things. Source: Boston Globe / Getty Teacher Suspended For Disparaging Comments About The Confederate Flag A secondary school teacher in Georgia was suspended for referring to the confederate flag as a sign that an individual plans to marry their own sister. I meaaaaaan…..some points were made. The Richmond County School System ended up launching an investigation after said teacher put a photo of the confederate flag on their board with a message that stated: “A sticker you put on the back of your pickup truck to announce that you intend to marry your sister. Think of it like a white trash ‘Save the Date’ card.” One of their students at Hephzibah High School ended up being upset by the message, so she told her mother about the whole thing. The student’s mother, Melissa Fuller, voiced her anger about the matter in a post on Facebook, which is where it was widely circulated and prompted discussion from other parents at the school along with local residents. “A lot of [the discussion] is that it’s not morally correct. It’s unethical. It’s just something you don’t want to discuss today in today’s world and especially inside of a classroom,” the mother told WRDW-TV . Fuller added that her daughter had been suspended after wearing a belt that features a Confederate flag buckle to school after being asked to remove the belt. “If she can’t wear that belt buckle, then why is it appropriate to make an assignment out of it?” she asked. Now, the teacher in question has been placed on administrative leave, according to the Augusta Chronicle . The school district told the outlet, “The Richmond County School System is committed to creating a diverse, equitable learning environment for all students. The language used in the example was unacceptable and has no place in our classrooms.” While some insist that the Confederate flag–first used during the American Civil War– simply serves as a major source for Southern pride, it’s extremely offensive to many who argue that the symbol is synonymous with white supremacy, bigotry, slavery, racism, etc. Now, the flag is regularly used by neo-nazis throughout the United States.
So, in case you missed it, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro went and got himself into trouble again. That in itself isn’t a shock, since Ronnie has been on a serious downward spiral for a good long while now. But the story about what actually happened is pretty darn intense, even for him. Late Thursday night and into Friday morning, Ron and his girlfriend, Jen Harley, had some kind of issue, as they often do. They were at an Airbnb with their daughter, 18-month-old Ariana, when they started arguing. Things escalated, and Ron allegedly slapped and punched her. She ran outside and started screaming for help — there isn’t an “allegedly” for this part, because apparently several neighbors called 911 to alert authorities of that part of the situation. But instead of just letting her go, Ron ran after her with a knife in one hand and baby Ariana in the other. Jen wouldn’t listen, so he dropped the knife, went back inside with the kid, and locked the door. When police arrived, they asked him to open the door, and when he refused, they broke down the door so they could make sure Ariana was OK. She was, but Ronnie still refused to cooperate, so out came the taser. He was pretty incapacitated, on account of being tasered, so he was taken to a hospital before he was taken to jail and booked on kidnapping charges. What a ride, huh? A terrible, horrifying, just inexcusably awful ride. Jen told police that Ronnie went off after doing some cocaine, which might explain his behavior a bit, but it’s obviously not an excuse. Especially when he and Jen both have such a history of being violent with each other , including but certainly not limited to that time that she dragged him with her car . The whole incident honestly sounds terrifying, and it sounds like the worst bit of violence between them yet, which is really saying something. But was it so bad that they could both end up losing custody of Ariana? According to a lawyer who spoke with Hollywood Life, yeah. The lawyer, a family law attorney in California named David T. Pisarra, doesn’t personally know Ronnie and Jen, but it’s safe to say he’s familiar with situations like these. And as he explains it, Ronnie could be facing an additional charge of child endangerment for what went down, and if he does, then “the government may not allow” any kind of reconciliation between him and Jen. We all know that they have a history of getting into these kinds of fights, breaking up, then getting back together and giving interviews and how they’ve changed and grown and how everything is fine now. But according to this lawyer, “It’s conceivable that the Department of Child & Family Services might not let that happen.” “DCFS could threaten to take the baby from them if she gets back together with Ron because she’s putting the baby in a dangerous position.” “They could charge Jen with negligent parenting,” he adds. Additionally, “DCFS could require Jen to get a restraining order against Ronnie to protect herself and the baby from him.” But if Jen does decide to leave him for good, she has “a phenomenal case for sole custody,” which makes sense. “The prior abuse in their relationship is between them alone, but the fact that Ronnie was holding the baby while he’s chasing Jen now involves the kid,” the attorney says. Going forward, she could potentially get one of two different kinds of restraining orders — a criminal protective order or a civil domestic restraining disorder. Either would be easy for her to obtain, and if she got one, it’s extremely likely that she’d end up with sole custody of Ariana, with Ron getting some kind of supervised visitation.
