When it comes to finding the perfect gift for his 93-year-old grandmother Hattie White, Jay-Z found that gift in the form a monument that will stand the test of time. Hov, Beyoncé, their three children, his mother Gloria Carter and her mom were in Prospect Park on Christmas Eve to see and take photographs with the engraved bench the rapper gifted to his grandmother. As reported by the Jay-Z Instagram fan account @aintnojigga in a now deleted post the engraving states: “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago. With love and admiration to our root, Hattie White.” It’s no secret how influential Hattie has been on their lives and in the couple’s music. Jay-Z references his grandmother in his exceptional verse on Meek Mill’s track “What’s Free,” and Beyoncé’s album Lemonade was reportedly inspired by Hattie’s speech from her 90th birthday celebration in 2015 when she stated: “I had my ups and downs, but I always find the inner strength to pull myself up. I was served lemons, but I made lemonade.” If that sounds familiar to you, it was also featured at the end of the song “Freedom” which is narrated by White herself. As expected, the proud father is eager to see his kids and get his career back on track. According to the icon ‘s attorney, who spoke with TMZ , “X will be released from Gilmer Federal Correctional Institution on Jan. 27, and he’s excited about coming home to his family and resuming his rap and movie career. DMX has a huge fam — 15 kids to be exact — and he’s anxious to see his youngest son, 2-year-old Exodus Simmons, who we’re told has had serious health problems.” Despite issues with the law and drug addiction , the site also states DMX has been getting offers from movie producers for a biopic. It may be a tad bit premature, but it’s safe to say the following: Kanye West’s New Year’s resolution will not be to forgive and/or forget. Quite the opposite, in fact, when it comes to Drake. About two weeks after Kanye reignited his feud with Drake , because the latter dared to ask for clearance of a track from the former, Kanye has gone out and once again… … reignited his feud with Drake. In this case, the 41-year-old rapper shared a screen capture of an article that claimed that Drake, used to follow Kim Kardashian on Instagram and… … wait, there is no and . That’s it. That was enough to get Kanye off. “I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September,” West wrote on Twitter early Saturday, adding in consternation: “I had to bring this up because it’s the most f-cked up thing of all and I just saw it this morning. “Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram.” A few points to make here: 1. Kanye has since deleted these Tweets. 2. Drake no longer follows Kardashian. 3. Perhaps he formerly did so because Kim so often poses naked on that social media platform. The Yeezy later designer claimed he has no ill will toward Drake, however. “We truly wish this man the best and pray that he will find the same happiness that we have,” he tweeted. “Love everyone.” Back on December 13, West went after Drake when he accused the three-time Grammy winner of attempting to contact the Kardashian-Jenner family. “Still need that apology for mentioning the 350s and trying to take food out your idols kids mouths. Been trying to meet with you for 6 months bro,” West wrote, attacking Drake as follows: “You sneak dissing on [Travis Scott] records and texting Kris [Jenner] talking about how’s the family.” Kanye even went on to allege that Drake had threatened members of his family. There was just a lot to digest here, as is so often the case with Kanye West… Eventually, Kardashian told Drake to leave her loved ones alone . And then Drake’s baby mama got herself involved . Fun times all around! For celebrity gossip outlets such as this one, at least. “@Drake never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake,” Kim wrote in defense of West at the time, adding: “My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know. “He has broken so many boundaries, everything from music, stage design, fashion and culture and will continue to change the world.” Drake has not yet responded to Kanye’s latest rant against him. But Kardashian hasn’t really gotten any more clothed on Instagram. So Drake may soon follow her again, like most warm-blooded males, and we’ll do this whole dance all over again. This whole rivalry started after Drake seemed to name check Kardashian in the song “In My Feelings.” West then said in an Instagram video: “What I’m looking for, for my spirit to take accountability is, the fact that there’s people making rumors or thinking that you f-cked my wife, and you not saying nothing and you carrying it like that, that don’t sit well with my spirit… “You know, if I had a girlfriend from Chicago, her name was Renita and then you was married to Rihanna, I wouldn’t make no song called ‘Riri.’ So when you’re like, ‘Ah I don’t know where it comes from!’ You’re too smart for that, bro. In a tweet, Sila said that her nephew told her that a little boy spat at him while playing in a mall play area. When the appalled auntie went to investigate, she recognized the tot right away! It was Saint West. Saint was accompanied by his sister Chicago West and an older woman who seems to be taking care of them. Source: RHONA WISE / Getty Boca Raton Cop Fired Over N-Word Gets Second Chance The lengths that cops will go to in order to protect one another is pretty sickening and it’s almost always at an innocent person’s expense. Crazy how that works. A Sun-Sentinel article details how Boca Raton cop Jeremy Codling was fired earlier this year after it was revealed that he used the n-word and frequently told racist and offensive jokes in the presence of Black officers. Initially, only disciplinary action was taken in the form of demotion, pay reduction, and a written letter of apology. Nine days after his demotion, it was discovered that Codling lied about his behavior under oath in addition to storing several pornographic images and websites on his department-issued computer. After being fired on March 5, somehow this d-bag with a badge has been granted a second chance to be an officer of the law. Codling has been given a “last chance,” she said, because significant disciplinary action was taken, he had no previous complaints of racism and if he messes up, he’ll be out of a job, again. “The final part of the discipline is a legal document in which the officer and city agree that that if the officer exhibits any similar behavior in the future, he will be terminated,” Gibson said. Translation: He used to be such a good boy prior to his racism that we just HAD to give him another chance. Peep this sorry a$$ excuse for an apology letter: “I want you to know that I am sorry for offending you with anything I may have said or done; It was never my intent to upset you,” Codling wrote. “Hopefully we can both move forward and have a good working relationship at the Boca Raton Police Department.” That’s how you apologize to a Black man for saying the n-word huh? SMFH. F**k Florida as a whole and definitely f**k the Boca Raton Police Department specifically. They still have the nerve to act indignant and offended when we say “f**k the police”. Tuh.

In a new interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today program, the ambitious actress admitted that she’s thought about running for President someday, presumably as a Democrat. Before you laugh, it’s worth remembering that Donald Trump is currently President of the United States. It’s true! You can look it up and everything! The morally questionable real estate mogul, who highest previous position was lead star of The Apprentice (a reality show on NBC) was elected leader of the free world in November of 2016. Ever since this depressing shocker transpired, stars such as Kanye West, Dwayne Johnson and Orpah Winfrey have pondered their own run at the White House, basically figuring: Sheesh, if frickin Donald Trump can win… So, why not Jolie? She serves as a special envoy to the United Nations Refugee Agency; has traveled and lived around the world; and seemingly really has dedicated her life to helping the less fortunate. When the aforementioned program’s host, Justin Webb, said he had put her on a list of Democrats who might run in 2020, Jolie laughed and said, “Thank you.” From there, she didn’t exactly dismiss this as a possibility. The actress went on to say she would stay quiet “for now” because she feels she can “get a lot done without a title.” But then she didn’t stay quiet. She started to list her qualifications! “I’m able to work with governments, and I’m also able to work with militaries, and so I sit in a very interesting place of being able to get a lot done without a title and without it being about myself or my policies,” she explained. At one point, Jolie’s shady past may have prevented her from ever reaching the Oval Office. But Trump totally banged a porn star while married and then paid her hush money and no one seems to care. Given that context, would Jolie stealing Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston really be an obstacle in a Presidential run? “I don’t know if I’m fit for politics, but then I’ve also joked that I don’t know if I have a skeleton left in my closet,” Jolie told BBC here, adding: “I’m pretty open and out there, and I can take a lot on the chin.
